PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I have never seen a "bypass" message before probably because this sim is more accurate than others. I have learned from a RW pilot that it means the aircraft will bypass the fix. I am curious about what the condition is that will cuase a bypass message?

Hi Gents I completed Ryan's tutorial with great success exept for battling to set the radio minimums to 100 and then exit from the flight back to the free flight page. I went to get some coffee and on my return I saw this picture. I then tried to reload the NGX but a lot of the graphics was greyed out and you could not do anything. I then exit from FSX completely and the NGX loaded normal again. I have done the complete introduction setup and the tweaks ( Used Bojote's FSX tweaking & Tuning tool) as recommended. Has any of you experienced this as well??

I sure hope someone will do up a great, shiny BBJ2 repaint until the real ones come out sometime.... really helps the fantasy of having your own new 800NG that you can fly anywhere you want, anytime!

I've downloaded some liveries, installed them and works okay, besides there is no HUD/HUG.....how come?

Hello PMDG fans, I recently experienced a panel freeze, and so did my friend. We were using the same variant, same paint, same OS, same FSX. We were both connected to VATSIM on Squawkbox (will all inside windows disabled, no transponder, etc). When his froze, he as always had no control, and he closed squawkbox. Then, like magic his panel sprung back to life. So PMDG, this would explain why only some users are having the issue sometime, it is based on an external addons, NOT PMDG's variables. So, the Hotfix should be directed toward compatibility (at least in my case, I do not speak for everyone, I speak for people with my setup and same issue). At PMDG: please pin this, …

Hello! I have trying the ENB bloom for FSX. Yes, it's very nice looking bloom with NGX. Somehow i think it puts my texture very black. So i'm requesting that if somebody could send enbseries.ini file that i can test it.

I purchased the NGX on monday and have big fun with it. AWESOME PLANE!!! Within a week or so (I hope) my completely new PC will arive. Now I read in various topics that I probably won't be able to install the 737NGX on my new system with my current validation code... Should I start a ticket already for a new code? There are a lot of open tickets, so I understand, so maybe by the time my PC arrives, the new code will arive too. Or should or do I have to wait until I actually have my new computer...? Or is it possible I can activate the plane on my new system with the same code, even though ALL the hardware will be different?

Two days ago i've done some post about CDU feeze during route and parameters insertion before takeoff. Now after few test i've found a solution that seem to works very well for me. I've tested this metod with C&D startup and with other panel situations. The fix is this one: Use exactly this order to insert route / parameters in CDU 1) Load the panel state you want 2) Set fuel & payload Ok this is the most important part 3) Align the IRS and insert the pos init. 4) Insert your route WITHOUT SID AND STAR 5) Insert GW etc... 6) Set the N1 page 7) Set the takeoff page 8) NOW and only now insert dep/arrival runway with sid & star and delete discontinuity with legs …

... because It looks like the sea has risen and covered the holiday island of Ibiza, at least that's what the EGPWS seems to think anyway. It doesn't show up, it just shows as water [see Pic] I don't know if this is a bug, or just a limitation of the system, but the island itself does have some high terrain in the centre, so probably should be shown. I do have Aerosoft Ibiza installed, but I think it was said that the EGPWS system works off the default mesh anyway. I also have Aerosoft Palma installed, but it does show up on the EGPWS. I've attached a screenshot to show yee.

Is it a problem with my fs.Or do more people have the problem that in the VC you have to zoom in pretty far to get everything nice and crispy?Thanks in advance!

Anyone else notices this, the PTH from VNAV PTH and CMD are missing on the F/O's display, yet when i bring up the popup on any of the displays, it comes back, and as soon as i close the popup it goes away again. Hi Is there away when simulating an engine fire to get smoke and flames coming from the engines like on the 747 and JS41 etc. I do see a puff of smoke when starting the engines. Matthew Smedley

Hi, just tried a flight last night (my first other than twicer flying the tutorial). I wanted to practice some vectors/requests that I may get issued when flying online, (before actaully taking the NG on a VATSIM 'trip' !) I wanted to delete a waypoint in the FMC, I tried hitting the delete key followed by the corresponding LSK and all I got was INVALID ENTRY in the CDU? Any tips?

Hi @ all! Searched the Forum yet but I couldn't find anything... I#ve the problem that the wings of the 738 are bouncing unrealistic high during taxiing to the gate after landing. Its looking like the 738 trying to fly like a bird by using the wings :) I don't have this problem by taxiing to the runway for takeoff - only after landing. Anybody here with the same problem? Any suggestions for a Solution? Thanks, Rene

Hi PMDG, just atempted to do a flight and made very little progress once into climb i lost all control and had a freeze. Just thought id put the feelers out and see if any progress had been made on a fix for this? im itching to complete a flight! Hope the team is having some success :) Cheers Guys! -Dan Parker

Hello,Just installed a fresh FSX SP2 no acceleration, no scenery no other add-on, nothing.Installed PMDG 73NGX no livery. Started a flight from cold and dark.After IRS aligment, went to the ARV/DEP page to enter the SIDSelecter rwy, then when I select the SID, FSX hangs.I tried to load a saved rout with no SID, do the whole CDU processof entering everything and only at the end enter the SID, same result.

Landed @ vref at KSNA, ILS approach, engine idled upon touch down, spoilers activated, thrust reversers full, brakes applies, aircraft would not slow down and crashed off runway

Hey guys.I have been reading the NGX manuals on the HUGS/HUD system. But i don't seem to understand it properly.There is IMC, VMC Aiii and so on. Could some one tell me how it works in theese 3 different mods?I know how to setup the hugs with runway length and elevation. I guess that Aiii is autoland?But how does IMC and VMC work?

Hi Firstly... Wow what a great add-on! OK, I have a couple of questions I hope you pro's can spare a few moments from flying the NGX to help me with please? Is there a setting/tweak I can do to have the yoke lowered by default (as I find it gets in the way of the PFD)? My Saitek throttles seem 'twitchy' with this aircraft and Throttle2 does not always work (have set up using registered FSUIPC and this is the only add-on I have prblems with)? Saitek Multi Panel only flaps and trim seem to work, all autopilot functions do not, Presumably because the PMDG autoflight system has been created outside of FSX, is there a 'workaround' out there of has anyone got theirs to work? Since playing FSX I hardly ever tried to manual land. It was just too hard. As I have played now for about 5 years I have built up addons, and learned the ins and outs of fsx. I have also used many plane simulations and taught myself from the ground up through manuals and much internet research how to fly these advanced simulations. I do not want to be a real pilot, and I have no delusions about being a real pilot in terms of skill and knowledge. I, like everyone have been waiting for the NGX.
