During the approach to Short final. I activated HUD , suddenly FSX friezed. I have to open Task Manager to get out from FSX.I was wondering , If "Full Screen" Mode has conflict with HUD,Please advise.

I tried an autoland on rw 31 at LKPR. All went very smooth. I had the minimums call at100 ft and was almost on touchdown when suddenly, in a blink of an eye, the plane banked more then 70° to the right and then to the left and hit the ground. I use ASE for the weather and Fscommander for the navaid.Anybody else had this happen on autoland? Jos Deniswin7 64 bit

First actual failure today: Went to switch the APU on to cool the cabin and program the FMC in an AA -800, the EGT gauge budged, then nothing. I figured FSX was being screwy, so I referred to the CDU. No, it's broken. It sure is hot here in Nassau, guess it'll have to be fixed in the maintenance hangar.

I have WIndows 7 32bit, I'm running 4GB RAM, I've tried my best to install WIndows 7 x64 bit, but everytime I do, some new error on installation, or I can't connect to internet after. 3.25 GB is usable on my computer. I now try installing 64 again Everything installs, but when I try to boot (Safe mode) It hangs at CLASSPNP.SYS file, can't get around it.What I want to know is if the struggle is worth-it to install this Nonsense. If so what type of performance boost am I looking at if any at all?

Just in case this might help anyone - I apologize if this has been posted or discussed previously. For my system, setting TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=4096 results in FSX crashing after a while. Setting this back to 1024 and the crashes go away.

I am greatly enjoying this simulation. I remember a couple of threads back that someone said that you vertical speed couldn't be engaged after takeoff (I reproduced this in my sim- after engaging vertical speed, the plane slowly began pointing downwards as if it had no active vertical mode). I know it is completely incorrect to use this mode after takeoff, but I'm just curious that it may be a bug because I you press lvl change or vnav and then reengage vertical speed, it does work. It seems that you can't put in a number of passengers that ends with 0. It replaces the 0 with a 7. This may be a texture glitch as it lets me put in 177 of 174 which clearly doesn't work. Ok it might be me. Some one explain how it works. I tried even putting in 147 and it defaults to 154.

Have you guys have this issue, when you move your mouse around the buttons or try to use button, the mouse is flickering, this is not happening in 2D cockpit

Does the alaska model have a gaurd over the engines? Or do I have something messed up on my model? The fans don't appear to be spinning. Only thing i can figure knowing they fly in area heavly populated by birds is possibly it having a gaurd to prevent the bird from going all the way in.

Hi folks I found the following bugs in my NGX: - rudder pedals are not reacting at breaking as they should from Nick's NGX review- the same thing when parking brakes applied - no reaction on rudder pedals- cannot open the window in a pilot cabin (is this function realized in NGX?) Ok, I've read the manual and can't see where the answer to clear this Master Caution issue. It seems that my cabin temps are always always having issues. Here is a picture to explain the error. (I made the knobs colder to see if it would clear it).

Today I experienced a strange thing, I started with the a/c in a cold & dark state and then powered it up and started up the engines. Then I decided to go back to a cold & dark state but for some reason the list of saved panel states was all empty but only on the captain's CDU...on the FO's CDU the panel states were there and I could choose to load the cold & dark one. My download speed is very very slow (48 KB/sec) and it fluctuates from anywhere between 4-2 hours remaining time. I have Verizon Fios, and just about anything I download is so quick (no matter what the filesize) that I often ignore the speed counter. But now, I feel like I'm back on AOL in 1995. Dear PMDG team,In the old PMDG 737 we were able in 2D to press Shift+2 and have larger PFD, MFD and Engine display. Actually we can only pop up the 3 displays but they appear above the MCP. I found that in panel.cfg we have Windows 11, 12 and 13 that are responsible for the size and position of the pop up displays. I tried to play with the numbers to re-size and re-position the displays without success. Could you please help ?Adenilson

Greetings I know there have been multiple issues since the NGX release, but I think my issue has not come up. It likely has given my luck, but my searches on the forums haven't yielded the page I need. First of all thank You very much for this great 737 Simulation ! It is really a great joy to fly and a there are a lot of things to learn which makes it even more enjoyable!But despite it's just a very minor 'issue' I although wanted to ask if it's possible to open the cockpit windows, cause when I try the clickspot at the captain's window it triggers the HUD.It's not a real issue at all but I was just interested if it's possible.Best regards and once more thanks a lot for this great simulation,Mike.

Hey guys I did a short flight this morning and used fsx default atc. I usually just enter my flightplan into the FMC then just fly without ATC help. I decided this morning to use fsx default and was it a nightmare. They set me up to vectors at runway 33R into Toronto. And of course the runway was battling a huge crosswind. This was one of the "harriest" landing I have ever attempted in FSX and I knew i should of went missed or went around but it was a fun challenge for my hand flying skills. Anyways to my point, is there an ATC add-on out there that i could use that would allow me to file "actual" flightplans and not just direct GPS. Cause i still want to have the A…
