Hey Guys, I wanted to start a flight. After everything was loaded i shut down the engines and after pushback i started both engines again. When i gave some power to the engines, only the left engine gave thrust. But now the funny thing: Both thrust lever moved exactly the same! I tried two flights and this happened to me both flights! Is it my fault? Am i making something wrong? Cheers

Hi I have got wrong gauges appearing in my 3d virtual cockpit views. (F/O view) I have a mechanical compass appearing in one, and and 3 bit maps of the gear lever in the other. The Captain's view has hud inoperative sign in PFD and a blurred object in ND. When you click on the PFD and ND windows, the panels appear correctly in a separate window. When loading the FMS system and inserting V speeds, the PFD shows "no V speeds" Any ideas? Thanks vincent

I've compared the cockpit sound of the NGX (the WAV-file) to some video clips I have from some 737NG cockpits. One of them where the aircraft is just finished with one flight and preparing for another I find that the sound of the NGX does match. But of the other clip where the aircraft has been shut down for a night stop (video clip included) I find that the sound do not match. Take a look on the video clip and listen Regards Stig HaraldNorway

Hey folks, not exactly a show stopper but since I saw the first WIP shots I felt I could use this feature to adjust night lighting to fit a bit more my personal impression of how it should look like (more reddish to be exact). Am I missing something (yes I did read the intro), or has this feature been dropped? I cleary remember it had been announced back then.

I had a strange issue this am, and I cannot figure out why. I am certain I did something wrong, but I haven't a clue of what it was. I started Engine 1, then Engine 2. Engine 1 would not increase past idle, had full control of Engine 2. Both thrust levers had full range of motion from reverse to full thrust. When reversers added, I had lights indicating both engines reverse. I shut down both engines, started off APU and still #1 nothing above idle. Any ideas? Keith

Hi as the subject says I am having a problem with some click spots in the VC mainly on the Overhead but there are a few more on the lower panels that do not work either. When I place my mouse over where the click spot should be the mouse cursor does not change at all, it just acts as if there is nothing to click there. Even the HGS click spot to show and hide the HGS reflector does not work. Seems mainly that its the more complicated multi click-spot spots that are the ones that do not work. Anything inside the red boxes in the image below doesn't work at all. Any ideas? I've tried a fresh install run as admin but that makes not difference. Windows 7 64bit UAC off, FSX i…

Hello again, i experience a sudden frame drop every (lets say) 20 seconds. from 30 (locked) down to 22, but in areas where the frames are only around 20 the drop goes down to 12 or less and it´s really annoying. I´ve tested it with two external limiters, with unlimited in FS and the FS limiter but it continues to drop as in the 2d panel, virtual cockpitnand even in the outside view and only with the NGX. (Well i was only able to test it with the Wilco PIC as it´s the only installed aircraft on my FSX beside the NGX. Is this a FSX bug? My specs DDR2 800 4GB KingstonGTX260Q9550 2,83 GHX Settings are all in a middle position. Alexander Schönegger

Can someone please tell me which sound file is for the gear horn, and where it is? I'd like to disable it so I can use the Saitek gear lever without it causing issues? Thanks

Hi, Most of the posts I have read so far mention that problems can (must?) be expected if trying to run the latest PMDG sims - and especially the NGX - on a 32 bit system. I have a relatively recent machine (i7 CPU870 2.93/3.30GHz 3.49 Go RAM) with Win XP Pro SP3 installed. Not too sure if installing a 64 bit system is easy or even feasible with some of the applications I run. Could PMDG please advise if problems are to be expected (or point me to a post addressing the question)? And if there are some known limitations to be expected, what are they (maximum flight duration etc.)? Opinions/advise from other users are also welcome. Thanks in advance, Bruno

I push TOGA and there is the initial GA thrust and the FD attitude increases as expected. Although within seconds the plane reduces thrust and seems to level off. It then eventually climbs but at a slow rate. This all happens when the Autopilot is controlling the GA because both CMD A & B were active. Thanks

Hello All, I don't know if this has already been discussed but I seem to have observed something little bit off with the duct pressure gauge. I was on the ground at KBOS with the 737-800W (United post-merger, EFIS/Map style cockpit) preparing for a flight to KCLE. I had started up the APU, opened the APU bleed valve, packs were on AUTO, and I ensured the engine bleed valves were off. The packs were on at the time and the Duct Press was indicating ~20 PSI. The ground equipment was all disconnected. The weirdness started just before I pushed back. As I switched the packs off in preparation for engine start, the Duct Press dropped to about 10 PSI. Shouldn't this be the other…

The NGX Introduction states the requirement to include HIMEMFIX=1 in the [GRAPHICS] section of the FSX.CFG file. However, a differing syntax for this command is discussed on various posts in this forum. Here are the two syntax options being offered: HIMEMFIX = 1 HIGHMEMFIX=1 Which syntax is correct? Does it matter? Thanks! Rich Boll

Hye, Every flight I get a warning, when I open the overhead I see this.First I thought it had to do something with icing, but thats not it.How do I solve this? (I made these shots during climb) I cant turn the little knobs but nothing happens when I do that. Regards,Robin EDIT: Now I am at my cruising level (FL390) and I see this (I am flying to ESKN).

(You turn them on from the FMC). Obviously one of them is a power generator. Another one has a big flexible tube, so I would guess that it is used to empty the lavatories. So what is the third one for? henri

I carried out the tutorial flight with no problems then did a short flight of my own into Gatwick using the same principles and basically using the tutorial as a checklist. The only difference between the two flights was that I had about a 5kt wind on the nose on the final approach. Both Nav radios were tuned correctly, course was laid in on both, LOC button pressed then APP after LOC capture. CMD B then engaged when I got the glide-slope. I noticed on the PFD that 'Land 3' did not engage so I waited to see what would happen. I then noticed a/p CMD A has gone out and just CMD B was green. The aircraft did land OK but I noticed after I landed that there was a message in th…

Is it okay if I install the ACARS device that comes with FS Flight Keeper in the 737NGX or would the addition cause a conflict of some sort. I realize the natural answer would be it is fine; however, given the complexity of this wonderful craft I thought to err on the side of caution and ask. Thanks,Ed

Hi, Purchased the NGX on release day and would first like to congratulate and thank PMDG for the hard work in developing such an incredible product. I'm extremely impressed with the graphical quality and level of detail and complexity of this aircraft, which I feel the Boeing 737 (as one of the best, if not THE best selling commercial aircraft in the world) deserves. I've flown the included Tutorial 1 (EGKK-EHAM) flight a couple of times over, and it's very well written and easy to follow, and as such my first flights went without a hitch. It mentions "following tutorials", I just wondered if there were plans for a Tutorial 2? Thanks,Tom Wright
