About to shut down a flight with the NGX. A horn started going off at ~11,000 ft while climbing. I can't get it to stop and I can't find anything wrong. No warning or alarm light, nothing on the FMC. Scanned overhead and other panels and I can't figure out what isn't happy. The climb is going on fine in VNAV, LNAV. Not sure if the NGX has gone crazy or I'm missing something. Any suggestions? Hate to shut down a flight that is otherwise going nicely. #concernedOverNebraska

Hey there guys, I was flying fine after a re-install, I was flying on VATSIM just fine with Squawkbox. No issues, nothing. Then, I installed FsInn/FsCopilot, and BOOM, nose down climb. So, I disabled the FsCopilot pressure and all weather controls, and disabled FSCopilot. I tried to fly with Squawkbox, and still nose down climb. So, I will be rebuilding my FSX appdata folder with FsCopilot entirely disabled and see if it works. Any advice, and there is a picture below for better explanation.

Hi NGX FPS is fine for me sticks at 30 until I try to use the mouse and then when the mouse curosr appears on screen FPS drops to around 20 FPS then when I leave mouse still and cursor dissapears FPS jumps back to 30 FPS. Any suggestions would be great, thanks Keithy

Alexander posted on this, I'm experiencing it for sure and don't with any other planes. Will be flying along for maybe 20 seconds then sudden drop from 30 FPS (at altitude ;o)), and she will drop to 6fps, the video stops, then immediately picks right back up to 30 again. Insert any other baseline frame rate as the 'normal' one, for example I am seeing right at 20-22 in larger terminals when the mouse pointer is not displaying. I can't say for sure on the time interval (every 20 sec) nor if it happens the entire duration of a flight, but it is frequently occurring. Hello All --- I know my previous PMDG aircraft (747 + MD-11) were not compatible with FSX flight plans. I need to know about the NGX, since I design and use many airports around the world that are ficticous, and thus aircraft nav systems must be compatible with these non-Navigraph facilities, navaids, etc. Please let me know how the NGX was designed in this regard. I am using Precision Flight Control equipment which includes the Jet Console with a 737NG throttle quadrant. So far I have not been able to get the spoiler, flaps or landing gear to actuate from the console. I have calibrated the quadrant from within the PFC setup and it looks normal. I also use their Jet Column yoke and Rudder Pedals. Any thoughts from anyone that may have the same equipment or have any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, Tom Hibben

1)Turn wipers L R too FAST then turn them OFF and you still here the sound. Just thought you'd like to know, no biggy though. 2) When using the HUGS the text on the RAD/Baro Minumis nob on the EFIS Control Panel disappers, not just when looking through the HUGS even when I look around it. Remove HUGS and problem is gone.

well sorry but you might have made a good job in programing the 737 but it kills me that i dont know how to get London anymore. Everytime i get the CTD = Out of memory I have a good PC and disabled Autogen by 25% Please if i am the only one in EGLL Back to Ifly =? /Michael

This is my first add-on, and it may be a common occurrence everywhere in the sim world, but I noticed if you are sitting on the end of the runway, and you load fuel, cargo, or passengers through the FMC, the 737 will actually shift, and settle, making it "feel" heavier. Well, I thought it was impressive.

OK I am not a complete newbie, but I am for this plane. I had a flight plan for a flight from Bergen to Shannon on FS Captain, so I loaded iot into FSCaptain and saved it in the PMDG format by clicking on the option square. I thin loaded it into NGX on the runway at Shannon usong the FMC. It was necessary to fill in a bunch of info such as weights that are not in the FSCaptain database, and make some corrections to the route. When I got it all sorted out I could not get the display to show the path, but apparently it was die to the IRS not being initialized correctly, because after I turned it off and on and adjusted some frequencies, everything looked all right. Just wanted to congratulate PMDG with an outstanding product! Bought this plane on release day, and I'm still blown away. This is the first FS plane where the sound package is 100% perfect. I just love to turn up my 5.1 speakers when I set take-off power. It's like music to my ears to hear the engines spool up. Also, the aerodynamics and the way the plane flies is extremely well done. You've done an outstanding job here, PMDG! I'm a very happy customer! Looking forward to the next products from PMDG. Once again, thank you! :)

I just love the modelling of the strobe lights in the NGX. All the external lighting is perfect but when you enter the runway and flick the strobes (the switch goes up, not down), the effect of the flashing light hitting the grass out your left window is amazing and very accurate given these lights are very powerful. I just wish you got the same illumination on the clouds when descending through low cloud on approach but this must be a FSX limitation. I am lucky to have had zero problems with this aircraft and -400X like performance.

I have read through the manual for the ground air but when it is connected I don't get any air to the aircraft. Packs on engine bleeds on. Recuc fans on. What am I missing.

Hey fellow simers, I am lucky enough to have all of PMDG planes for FSX, except the NGX I cant get the NGX for awhile since I am on holiday until September, then as I am only 14 with out a job I wont be able to afford it until after Christmas. From what I can see from the videos it looks great! Im wondering if any one knows of any in depth videos of systems like the FMC and LNAV and VNAV. How noticeable is all the extra work PMDG did on the LNAV and VNAV. Thanks guys,

Sorry for what most will see as one of the daftest questions this week. Unfortunately, work and wage commitments will force me to sit on the fence for a few weeks before getting what sounds like one of the best, if not the best, addon's available at this time. I can see the price as it is now on the Shop page at PMDG, how long is this %7 discount going to hold? On the EFIS you could select ADF1 and ADF2. On the pedestal I find only ADF1 with a standby frequency. Where is ADF2???? many thanks!
