I have not confirmed this after a flight, but I can repeat this every time while sitting on the runway. Plane: Delta 737-800Airport: KDTW (Active Runway)Wx: Cloudy / Light WindTime: Summer 1pm Flight loads sitting on the active runway... On the Delta I have the HUD enabled. In the test I would look around the VC, outside views, wing vies, throttle up, reveresers on, flaps, make a flight plan, mess with lights, etc... After that, I would hit ESC, then End Flight. Being retired flight crew I have spent many hours in multi million dollar flight simulators, and if a full motion hydraulic platform could be added, this would be up there with them. Hi All; I am considering the purchase of NGX, however I have an older system. I am currently running an Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 at 3.0ghz, 6 gb ram, a Gforce 9800 GTX Pro card with 1 GB ram (vista 64...ya I know). I get good frame rates with PMDG 747x and LevelD 767x. I have been reading about tweaks to FSX to maximize performance. I have seen a lot on line, what are the best ones and where can I look. I don't want to buy this product and then complain about it's performance when I haven't done everything I can do to make it work right. Thanks bgps

What i have here is a relatively fresh (1 week old) installation of Windows 7 64bit ultimate, a fresh installation of FSX including SP2. I installed 737NGX and then i got my fsx.cfg file tweaked by ******* ;-) I worked through the readme text and i tried to run through the tutorial but it won't work. The problem is as follows... When i set up a free flight with one of the 737NGxs it'll load the plane, but i cannot switch any of the switches. Been flying with the NGX the past few days, and I noticed that my Lower DU is blank by default. If i flip the switches, i can get the ND down there, but I am not seeing any other screens down there (have not played around with it too much yet). Is the Lower DU supposed to be black by default, or is there a screen on there by default? I would normally think nothing of it, but I am starting to experience the "Freeze issues" and want to check if the default screen on the lower DU is blank. I dont remember what was on it when I started flying the NGX. Also... During my flight (at random stages of flight) I will get the "Master Caution" warning button to light up. However…

hi guys, i have no luck changing my fsx.cfg with the recommenditions of PMDG. the HIMEMFIX=1 and Texture at 4090 gives me a error pmdg737NGX.dll error. FsX close. Önly solution its to reinstall the 737 again. Any solution? Also imposible to use ******* twick program, gives me same error

Dear PMDG Team, I have waited this bird for a long time and now it is available. I bought it immediately after the release and now getting used to this lovely bird. Hi Before i go ahead and buy this excellent a/c i would like to know if i can use the 2D panel on my monitor as ive heard all sorts of things regarding if the 2D panel can be used on a normal LCD screen. I dont do VC, tried it dont like it. I use a Packard Bell 17inch LCD screen, manufactured in 2004 and ive used it ever since for fs2004 and fsx with know problems. will this be ok for the NGX in 2D Cheers Wayne Aisbitt

Hello, I recently went through the tutorial and am wondering how, in future flights, I am supposed to know which SID, airways, STAR and approaches to use. Presumably I need to get some charts like the ones in the tutorial to show me which airways to use to link up the SID and STAR, but where do I get these from? Strange happenings after time acceleration.This is reproducible every time and has occurred on multiple routes.Method:1. Create High altitude flight plan using Flight Sim Commander 9.2. Save as type PMDG flight plan3. Select real world weather3. Import CO route using FMC4. On reaching TOC, accelerate FSX to x4 time acceleration - slight wandering occurs, this can be usual and occurs in other aircraft5. Select Normal acceleration - AC has difficulties staying on track and wanders up to 60 degrees off in ether direction I did notice that wind direction and velocity was very erratic and thought this could be a reason. Not sure if this has been looked into or whether it's a personal problem. But somehow only NGX does this: This is when I click on the NGX on "Free Flight" screen, and leave it there for a while. The textures and all seems to just go and get what you see in the image. Ideas? Thanks

I normally don't post but.... I have to say I think the NGX is a very good piece of software. Not only does it do all the things that other PMDG add ons have done it also really "feels" like an airliner. All thats missing is the bland food!!! I am currently getting about 30 - 35 FPS at the default Shannon (system specs at the end of the post) this drops to about 15FPS at some of the more complex airports like Aerosofts Bremen. I have two questions firstly since the NGX runs outside of FSX are there any programmes I should set my antivirus to ignore in addition to FSX? I loaded the LENDY5 Star and FSX froze. I let the screen sit for 10 minutes before I closed FSX. I have attempted to Fly the NGX from KBFI-KJFK 4 times with NEGRES this is the farthestt I have made it without a CTD I went back to the default PNW scenery and I was running FSINN/EFB/ASE while making the flight this morning. Specs listed below I have been getting 25-50FPS throughout the flight.....Any help would be appreciated. Hello,I few days ago I was having problems with the brakes, they weren't working anymore after a replay in FS Recorder. That's obvious because actually a double landing is being made, and because of that the brakes will overheat and fail. To solve this I just go to the Failure section in the FMC and clear the failures, problem solved. But now this:Today I did a flight from EHRD to LCLK. This time I didn't watch the replay instantly after landing, but when I totally shut down the aircraft at the gate. But this time, I forgot to clear the brake failures in the FMC. Hey all,Can anyone tell me about the air conditioning unit, because Ive searched through all the pdfs and only found its mentioned once in a sentence in the introduction pdf.I assume it for providing air conditioning (as opposed to the air start unit). When I activate it in the CDU, my Duct pressure gauge doesnt move.So is there a procedure for using it somewhere in the docs that I cant find?Or am I misunterstanding its use?
