does any one know how enable it ,so sound doesn't stop when i'm in a 2d panel?

Hi Guys.First Of all I would like to say thanks to PMDG for the 737NGX,super aircraft,very impressive.Though I have only found minor issues they can be frustrating when trying to get max enjoyment from the 737NGXOver the past few days of flying these are the issues I have found.1) Livery Manager- I can only install 800NGXWL liveries.2) 2D cockpit- Panel too high to see Runway on Landing,though correctable using CTRL + Q to adjust eye line.3) Auto Brake system- ( I see this is a common problem as I have read the ongoing thread in the forum.)I have experienced the brakes not working on taxing etc,the last few flights though no problems to report.4)Instant Replay- Using the …

I'm getting this new error and CTD as soon as I load NGX and it only happen with NGX. as well I can't uninstall NGX I get an error saing VerfindfileVersion Failed. Any ideas ??? Evan Banalian.

Hi all, The plane and the cockpit look great. But I have a problem reading text. Some are sharp: like indicators on the throttle control e.g. trim and spoiler indicators. Text in FMC is okay. But text on the park brake handle is blurred, so are the fmc buttons and all the text on a/p console etc. Knobs are okay it's just the text on or above buttond knobs. Looks like a lack of focus. Hello, two times today i've had this problem, while in the final approach, the screen of the PFD, ND and lower DU frezes... i continued my final descent but the screene remained the same.. if i clicked on them to popup i saw it moving while on approach (for example i saw the altitude go down) but in VC i saw the screenies frozen.. Why? Thank u..

What is this about please?

The reason I ask is because I set all my FSX settings to half way like the manual recommends and left the sound settings inside the FMS all at 100 which were the stock settings but I can barely hear the call outs, the trim wheel or the recirc fans. I tried moving the the general sound setting in the FMC which was set at 50 to 100, but still am not hearing much in the way of what I have mentioned above. I remember in the old days using the FS9 version and the trim wheel, call outs and fans being really loud, but with the recommended settings I hear more wind and engine nose than anything else. In fact when I use the FSX ATC I cant ever hear what they are saying. Sean Camp…

I've done a few searches without luck for the 737NGX and the 737NG for FS9, which were the results I've found, do not help. The problem is I can not get the the FMC setup correctly. I want to fly from KBNA to KMIA. The route I'm entering is BNA..J45..ATL..J89..HITTR..J91..INPIN..J85..THNDR and after I complete the FMC setup and check the legs page the alt and spd at the waypoints are blank. When I try to engage the LNAV and VNAV (obviously) they will not engage. When I take off I cannot get the autopilot to engage (why would it) so that I can command it to fly to the first waypoint and climb to ATC commanded alt. The only information I have found said this will be covered…

Hey Everyone, I'm not one to use silly shorthand "text message" abbreviations, but OMG is the only thing that comes to mind when flying the NGX. I finally sat down yesterday and completed my first full flight after several touch and gos the night before: DL390, ATL-CVG, KATL.SUMMT4.VXV.JAKIE1.KCVG. It was a full passenger load flight. I must say, I was simply astounded. The landing wasn't pretty (float) but I think the passengers would have been none the wiser. There were several occasions where I found myself saying "OMG." In trying to install some addon ai aircraft, I carelessly delete some FSX files and now wish to reinstall FSX, not just repairing it, just to be safe. I got the Ngx the day it came out, and had zero problems with it, but after reading the beginning of the intro document, I decided to reinstall FSX into a c:/FSX directory as the guide recommended, so I had to uninstall the Ngx. When I went to reinstall it, it didn't ask me to activate again? This this take away one of my activations, and when I reinstall it again will it take another one away?

Hi, Peter James here from the past... just got the new NGX.... is very workable to achieve a 25 to 30 locked FR in the virtual cockpit using DEFAULT SCENERY .... with sliders down a bit and FO display off, plus other tweaked machine thinggies...I have a great optimized sager np9280 (desktop i7 950 3.07) 280GTX card, 6 G ram.... best laptop in the world for simming with its desktop power...so anyways GREAT JOB PMDG.... First off, what an amazing plane this turned out to be. Considering the degree of accuracy, Im very please to be getting 25+ frames, and have not noticed any of the reported problems so far- Only question I have: How can I save the aircraft equitment settings, such as HUG equiped, eyebrow windows, single/dual axis FD etc., so that they are saved for that particular aircraft each time I load it. Is it automatically saved each flight so when I reload it, the settigns should be saved? Now I have noticed you can save panel state, but this is not what I am looking for. thanks David a.

I am trying to re-install my NGX after uninstall, and after installing it does not ask me for my order info for validation, and when it loads the a/c, it does not do the "initialize" segment and shows blank instruments. I have uninstalled and re-installed twice with no success. All permissions are correct, and I had no problems with the initial install when first purchased. Anyone else have this problem? And no, it is not a bootleg copy, etc., so please don't go there.

Hi Ryan, You guys may already be taking care of this, but I didnt see it in the "NGX issues tracking thread". I'm refering to the lefthand "SPAR VALVE CLOSED" light, which currently looks like thngs do after too many drinks. Hello everybody! I was wondering if someone could give me some pointers on things I'm possibly doing wrong. For all he flights I've made so far, including the tutorial flight twice, I've never managed to fly with the LNAV and VNAV path, it simply wont 'take over control'. Before I start my take-off roll I ensure that both Flight directors are set ON, Autothrottle is ON and VNAV and LNAV are both selected and green.Furthermore, the CDU has no discontinuinities, the route entered is a purple color, the CDU has calculated all the speeds and altitudes for the legs. I'm not a fan of discussing these things in open forae as we all know PMDG is on the case and knowing PMDG, they will fix it. However, I've just tried to do a flight from Gatwick to Innsbruck. This would have been my third attempt at the flight because of problems with Approaching Innsbruck from Aerosoft (but that's a different story). Departed EGKK and on climbing through FL138 I lost the aircraft entirely, the dreaded freeze. This got me thinking. Hi guys, On my way to Pafos from Gatwick and its getting dark! I've looked everywhere but i can't find panel lights for the 2d panel or the dome lights. I can tun some lights in the virtual cockpit but thats it. Cheers.

Hey guys, Twice now, I have had myself lined up for the runway and I have had land 3 engaged, and the last 2 times, the autopilot has disengaged anywhere from 1/2 to 1 mile from the airport. Is there a step I am missing?
