PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hello After using NGX the TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=4096 goes to 1012 on fsx.cfg before restart FSX. Could be a cause because FSX crahes everytime after exit NGX? Do we have to set this values everytime before starts FSX? Thanks for help. RegardsMarcel

Good day everyone,I've tested the new 737NGX so much, but now I have a little problem with the outside model.Please take a look at this:Can you help me on this one? Also the beacon (red) lights arem't flashing anymore. They are all the time "on".Is it something that I have to change with the "PMDG Setup? Next Problem:After landing, I want to turn off the Autobreakes, but it doesn't work. The Plane does reduce the speed to minimum (=0knots). Even if I give 60% Thrust, the plane stands on its place. I can re-create this issue each and every time while I'm on the ground and try to modify a particular waypoints speed and altitude restrictions on the legs page. If I attempt to put in a different altitude restriction it says MOD ROUTE at the top, if I hit execute it freezes.. every time. Anyone else confirm? Certainly seems to be directly related to the CDU (which we already kind of figured out) just curious if it's repeatable for anyone else. Thanks!

Hello,will the NGX support Squawkbox/IVAO client, when I switch Squawk mode C, as it has been in all other add-ons, in future? This is one of the biggest problem in my NGX at the moment ;). Hopefully it will be fixed! Thanks in advance.

I have an issue while flying in VNAV. Coming in on an arrival with a published speed reduction, it will fly it perfectly up until that point and once I pass it, it starts an uncommanded speed reduction. So lets say you are crossing fix A at 250kts and it will show that on the legs page. Everything after that will generally show 240kts unless there is another published speed. However once passing the fix, it will SLOWLY bug itself down to stall speed at any given configuration. The legs page still shows 240kts over every fix, the decent page shows either 250 or 240kts. I even enter 250kts manually on the decent page as a restriction, yet the speed bug continues to go…

First of all I would like to thank PMDG for the great add-on. I am still getting used to it, but I believe NGX will become my number one plane in FSX. I have noticed small issue. I have several Aerosoft addon airports. I have always liked the parking assist/guidance system nice and helpful feature, when parking at the gate. However on none of the airports I own NGX is recognized (I checked in Hamburg and Berlin Tegel, parts of GAP3 which I own) and the parking system simply doesn't work. I believe NGX should be recognized as B738 (as I fly -800 version now), at least that's how default 737NG is recognized. Also other addon planes are recognized correctly, for example Wil…

This has nothing to do with the 737NGX, which is absolutely awesome by the way, but maybe someone else encountered this and has a solution. EZDOK seemed to load fine, but when you switch from cockpit cameras to aircraft cameras it shows a view of the world from outer space versus views from the vicinity of the aircraft. Anybody else have this happen? What did you do to resolve it?

I had just completed a flight and started the APU before engine shut down. Got APU generators and bleed air on. Shut sown the engines and then proceeded to turn everything off. Shut down the APU,EGT went down to off temps and turned off the battery. It sounded like the APU was still running and from an external rear view it definitely sounded like the sound had not shut down. Don't know if this was something I didn't get shut off or was a glitch of some kind. Tom Hibben

What is the maximum range of the 738? I thought it was around 3,000 NM, yet, when I program something for a 1,890 nm flight I get an insufficient fuel warning, what am I doing wrong? Also, I can't get the LNAV button to work. Patrick Boynton

I was loading the tutorial and when I got to the point of selecting the runway (8R) at Gatwick into the FMC the tutorial says that it should display on the ND. Mine didn't. I've started from scratch several times to no avail. Everything else seems fine. Any ideas? Ted Belden

Hey guys! Just had a fantastic time, I've flown 3 legs with the 737NGX, oh man... I had problem with OOM issue last weekend, but today things worked perfectly, I couldn't be happier. I need to work on my landings though. But I don't know why F7 doesn't work here to lower the flaps incrementally, F5,F6 and F8 work, it's just F7 that doesn't. Any ideas? It works on the default FS airplanes.

Hi, I have not a new HighEnd PC but the new 737NGX runs with a good perofrmance inside of cockpit. I have a small issue with this amazing piece of simulation software: When making a manual landing, I would like to have the autothrottle in MCP SPD on final approach. At 100 ft. AGL, I would disengage the A/T mode by pressing the speed button on the MCP, thus leaving the A/T in ARM mode, ready for an eventual G/A. I can then retard the throttles manually on flare. I once had a session in a full motion 737-800 simulator, and the instructor wanted it done that way when flying a manual approach. I'm trying to get the NGX to work with TOPCAT. What should I use for the dry operating weight, MTOW, MZFW and MLDW? What is the pax weight used by the NGX? EDIT: I figured out the PAX weight and DOW, 175 and 92.5K respectively. Also, what is the max payload?

Hi Everyone: Each time I tried to land the 737 tonight, I got an annoying repeated horn which would not stop. What is that, why is that, and what can I do to fix it? Hi all, I'm enjoying the NGX very much just like all of you do I hope! One thing that I'm not getting is the KLM livery for both the -800WL and the -900WL version. I followed the manual for installing the liveries and all the other liveries are working properly, but I can't simply load the KLM livery in FSX because then it gives me an error (see image below)..System is Windows 7 32-bit. Does anyone else experience the same issue, or does someone else have the KLM liveries working? Thanks in advance for dropping by and have fun flying this best so far created piece of art!
