I did a test flight yesterday (Yes, still testing the PMDG as I have not been able to do many successful flights yet) with a simple situation. KBOS - Active RWYs 22s Start the plane from Cold & Dark, set everything in FMC properly for a KBOS DEP and KBOS ARR Set radios to ILS on both NAV1 and NAV2, set cursor to correct RWY22L Take off normally 22R (Albeit the horn sound which I still cannot figure out why, everything should be set correct, flaps and trim) Engage Autopilot at around 2000 feet with RWY HDG, reaching 5000' turn around for 22L Base Airplane now is set for arrival, AutoBrakes set at 2, flaps 15, Spoilers Armed, ALT at 4000 and now with a HDG to intercept …

QRH 452 pagesFCOM1 1035 pagesFCOM2 1240 pagesFCTM 416 pages That's 3143 pages of manuals, not counting the introduction and tutorial, and do you think I can find the empty weights of the variants anywhere ? I've tried searching for "weight" across all pdf's in the folder but got about two and a half thousand hits, then I tried searching for "empty weight" and got pointed at the guide for the EFB which may give me the info I'm after when I figure out how to turn it on but isn't there just an ordinary list of weights somewhere ? Good evening, Just my issue or somone else is experienced it? With 737-800WL (Ryanair) the total number of pax for the payload is 174 (would be 189 but it doesn't the problem consider that I'm fully satisfied by the amazing product) and if I use the "set full" button, the total % is set to 102,4% (pax 181/174) and with the "set empty" button the total % is set to 2,4% (7/174)! The solution (but only temprarly because every time I need to repeat the procedure) is to go into PMDG setup and change "Single Class" to "Dual Class" and then back to "Single Class". Any advice or possible solution? Thanks

In FMC i load Cold/dark status then connect ground power.Battery on,standby power auto,grd power on,bus trans auto,then open all fuel pump,now apu start.Strange is apu EGT should be rising to 8 position then drop to 4 and apu gen bus will illuminates,BUT i i try to start apu then EGT just rising to 4 position and APU gen bus illuminates.Does any wrong about my start up APU procedure??

The first installation went ok, I started 737NGX with engines running, but when I had to reinstall FSX because it blocked the exit, after restarted, with the engines off, and also with Ctrl + E will not start. what happened, asking for help

Hello. Finally NGX `n on my hard disk and. But to my great despair, it seems not my goflight Tq together with the NGX. Completely dead spoiler / flap axes. and both engines is to chase up and down thrust. Could mention that work perfectly with this together with the Ifly 737 and Wilco's classic 737

There has been massive discussion on tweaking FSX for those who are experiencing low performance. One thing that has been posted is "turning Autogen Off" as a way of reducing the overhead.Don't do this, reducing Autogen much below normal has a negative effect, which is quite the opposite to reducing the autogen slider in FS9. may i know why you make quality products one after the other and make us waste our money ,i first bought your md-11 loved it,j41 was better and i stopped flying md-11,now i purchased ngx and its so amazing that i have stopped flying md-11 and j41, what a waste of money buying them, if you continue to make products that beat your older onehope 777 is going to better and you start giving discounts on your further products to your loyal clients,had a few niggles with 737 however everything seems to have sorted out with out any intervention,thks for this amazing product.vivek

Seems to me that during the last couple of days there has been all kinds of success and horror stories about what performance or non-performance people are getting with thier 737NGX. According to Ryan people with pretty high end machines should not be getting any kind of poor performances with this aircraft,Well i am one person who is not getting terrible results, but still dissapointing at times, so maybe it would be a good idea to set up a pinned thread where people can post there specs and settings and 'honest' performance results (Maybe even Ryan and some beta testers as well) so that we can get a broad spectrum of system versus performance because i still don't know …

1. i right clicket the manager icon and ran as admin2. i browsed and put the fsx root path which is C:microsoft flight simulator X there are no aircraft in the installed aircraft variants box on the left. the ng is in the aircraft folder with all 4 variants. any help is appreciated. mike davis

Hi, I am now flying the 737 for a few hours and I am very happy (not 100%). Beside the 2D 4:3 issue I noticed, that the flap position is not saved/loaded. I saved a "takeoff"- situation with flap 10 position. Then I tried to load the situation, but the flaps were up. Is this a bug or have I done something wrong. Hi all, Not sure if thisis a post for here or in the Vox ATC forum. HAs anyone managed to get this aircraft working with Vox ATC, as I am unable to update the panel config with the vox atc gauge. I have tried both manually and through the installer, and neither work. I seem to remember a couple of people saying they were going to use this with Vox ATC, so just curious if anyone else has had problems. Thanks Ben Wing

After the runway elevation + runway length have been set (as per the tuto1 pages 71&72) the HUGS controller reads : mode PRISTBY IMC A IIIRWY E 0'GS -3.00° but the HUGS symbology that should show A III approach mode, does not show up when fully established on the ILS 18R EHAM (ILS freq 110.10 in both left and right NAV radios and course set to 184° in both course selectors). I tried 3 or 4 times but the display stays empty all the times I didn't make any change in the FMC (PMDG/Aircraft/Equipment), the HUGS auto AIII mode is still set to YES What do I do wrong ? What do I miss ? Can I check the HGS while on the ground ? If yes, do I need to position the a/c on the run…

Anyone know if there is any airline in the world that has a HUGS for the F/O, not only the Captain?

So I was doing Tutorial #1 by PMDG which came with the Flight Manuals, hit 1000FT before landing at Schiphol...THEN all my DUs and my HUGS froze! I know PMDG are in the process of fixing it, but on my first proper flight in the NGX, it was damn annoying!Hopefully that doesn't happen again after the upcoming update!NickDefinitely* spelt it wrong (sorry)

Hi, First off great job PMDG.The NGX is very smooth even on my lower end Phenom II [email protected] thing though thats bugging me is when I boot er up, I get the green message stripe, it does its thing, then the green stripe disappears, and there is a very tiny blank white box in the very upper left corner that can be re-sized bigger if you want, and a very very thin white border ( and I mean VERY thin but still a little annoying, kinda a flickering effect) that spans the top of my monitor in full screen 3D VC.Is there something I should try here?Is there some way to turn off the green message bar too? Guys, I have a problem with the 737ngx. When I try to fly the 737, after loading all components of the fsx and almost load the VC of the ngx, the simulator crashes.Note- The problem just persist when i install the sp2 of fsx, because when i just have the sp1 installed the screens of the panel are all black and i cant use the sistems of the aircraft(So i have to install the sp2 to use the aircraft). my specs:Intel core i7 1366Geforce GTX4606gb of ram 1333mhz triple chanelwindows 7 sp1.

Hey all, I seem to be having issues making this modification. I move the .dll file and the cfg file into my main FSX root folder. I adjusted the values in the cfg as directed in the instructions. However, when I load any aircraft, the loading bar flashes between the actual simulation, basically rendering the simulation useless. I set the frame limit to below my normal fps and set the pre-load thing to 0. Not sure what happens, the black screen with the loading bar flashes repeatedly over the actual game. I run vista 64bit dual core processor. Happens with all aircraft, including NGX. Thanks, Morgan W

Hi, my system has the following spec; Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400S at 2.66GHz 8GB DDR2 RAM 1TB HDD (7200rpm) Windows & Home Premium 64-bit NVIDIA GeForce 330M GT I can run Concorde X and get 15fps with all sliders on Medium which is the graphics quality I play at.On the defualt 737 I get 55fps with all settings on medium,.Both fps are taken at the foot of the runway at Heathrow. Would the fps be equal to Concorde or better, because I can play Concorde fine and it doesn't jutter despite the low fps. Hope I get a reply!! Can't wait till I fly the 737!! Well...this is my first trouble report... I´m experiencing a precise problem with the NGX, and only with this plane ocurrs. When i change the views or try to switch full screen to non full screen, the FSX goes crazy. The FSX keeps running, but the screen mostly turns black, or shows strange looks like the pics i post. I run Win 7 64 with 8 Gb Ram and ATI Radeon HD5850 1 Gb. For me, it´s a video memory issue, but only happens with the NGX. Hope someone could help me Regards Gonzalo
