    Hello, Not sure if anyone has experienced this or is this is even an issue regarding the NGX, but tonight I was doing an ILS on 34L at KDEN and came up about 200~250 feet short of the runway. The PAPI lights were all showing red, however my glideslope was right on. Is this perhaps an issue with the simulator, or is it aircraft related? Regards,Andrew De Forest

  3. Just looking closely at the UA 800WL repaint and noticed that the tail number on the left side of the aircraft, N76517, is different than the one on the right side, N46517. Not sure which number is correct, probably the left side is as that seems to be the one the FMC keeps track of as far as configuration goes. Haven't checked the 900WL yet.

    Anyone else experiencing very inacurate NDB readings untill your virtually over the top of the thing? Makes it extremly difficult to fly single needle NDB approach's. The needle keeps bouncing about 20 degrees either side of the NDB position until your about 5 Miles away. Craig.

    Hello Everyone, I was cruising along on my way from chicago to boston, and right before hitting cruise altitude, my lnav started overcorrecting wildly.. I switched to heading mode and it was the same I think i forgot to enable the yaw damper XD I can't seem to find that switch on the OH panel.. Would someone be kind enough to tell me where it is?

  8. Hello all. Hello PMDG. Very nice product this NIX. Well worth the wait!Ok. I just realized that on the Continental 900WL Livery, the American flag is reversed - on the right hand side - above the rear door.I haven't checked the other liveries.     This is not a NGX specific question, but I am having a bit of difficulty choosing STARS, even with FS Commander. Why the heck doesn't the last waypoint in a STAR put one in line with the runway? For example, if I choose a STAR for runway ILS 7, why should I then have to choose another waypoint to line up with the runway? After all, if I have chosen a STAR in the list for runwayILS 7, it should be expected that I want to land on runway 7, should it not? Or at least to be put on an intercept course for the runway 7 glideslope? Henri

    When ever a significant windshift occurs, particularly a headwind to a tailwind, a wheel fire indication appears due to excessive brakeheat. This may be related to ASX. This seems like it should be easy to reproduce, given that it has been confirmed by others. Please acknowledge this bug. If a fix will be a while, can patch be distributed to temporarily block wheel well fires?

    Hi everyone I just got the NGX and it runs like a peach on my system! 4.0GHZ overclocked i7 930 gives me 30-35fps at the airports, and around 50 in the air.. I love it! Thanks pmdg!

    I start a flight between MGGT (La Aurora, Guatemala) and MROC (San Jose, Costa Rica) in Central America; in climb the pilot ND shows "ALT DISAGRE" indication. I proceed to QRH to section 10.2 and the solution... use the same barometric setting in capain´s and officer´s altimeters! the QRH is awesome!!!

    First off, thanks to PMDG. The NGx is beautiful. Almost perfect. However, I've been getting horrible performance and I don't know why. I have an i7 [email protected], 6 gigs RAM, ATI radeon 5770@ 1gig vram running W7 pro x64 bit. Fsx has service pack 2 and it runs like crap, even with the default a/c. And considering the specs I have, and that I can easily run crysis2 on ultra high with no lag, I don't think I've got a slow computer by any means. Thanks for any help, Tyler St. Peter

    PMDG have done such an amazing job modelling this aircraft, i'm gonna venture to guess this is normal, real aircraft behavior, but when i'm on descent and in VNAV mode, the planes seems to slowly pitch up and down. It is very small pitching and not jerking or anything like that, its only maybe a degree or two up and down. Is this normal? Sarah Connors

    Hey everyone. I've had this problem for a while right now and even noticed it on FSL Concorde. The thing is that when I apply thrust, the plane just severely turns to the left on the ground. I've recalibrated my rudders and even checked them on the sys eicas screen and all is fine and centered. The problem occurs when I apply thrust =/ Does anyone know what it could be?All help appreciated!

    Just wanted to let folks know I've posted macros for MCP, EFIS and OVH in Pete Dowson's FSUIPC website at http://forum.simflig...029#entry4300299 Note that I used the older Honeywell MCP to match my unit. Much more good stuff at Pete's site. Hope they help save some time (so they can fly) for others for this absolutely fabulous sim. I love(d) the 737NG in FS9 and it inspired me to build my own MCP, EFIS and OVH units from scratch... and now they work beautifully with this great aircraft. It's a joy to fly!!!!!! Lands like a dream using the HUD. Great job PMDG... can't wait for the SDK. Ed FairchildHappy User

    Hi everybody.I have a problem with my ILS approach. (for example: ILS 25 R KLAX) All my setups seems to be good: ILS freq set on 2 nav, right path set on 2 course. Set DENY on Glide-Slope Capture Before Localizer, set ON SET FSX LOC CRS, set Autoland "Fail Op".Near from ILS (27 nM) activate & capture the LOC, then, activate approach: still OK with following path & glide slope, then activate, AP 2 (CMD B, but always about 10 nM from runway, my 737NGX start to make a strong turn & crashed down.     I was doing the tutorial for the third time. Although I had succeeded in programing and carrying out my own full flight, I hd not managed to autoland in the two previous tutorial tries - the first time I could not get VNAV to work so I had to fly partially by hand, and the second time, the aircraft would not slow down and bounced up and down on the runway until it overran and crashed against the fence. This time, everything was going according to Hoyle, the rollout and flare notices were on the MFP, and when about 50 feet off the ground, I shifted to the outside view to watch the flare and touchdown (I guess this is the equivalent of the pilot sticking his head out of the…

    I did a manual landing with Autobrake 2 and spoilers armed. When around 50 kt i set Autobrake to OFF When to a complete halt i wanted to turn off the brakes (via .-key ) but the brakes kept on - i coudnt move the aircraft. What can it be? Should i not turn autobrake off or?

    Hi all, I have been reading all about autoland in 4.20.17 Vol. 2 with GS and LOC capture etc. and how to do single channel and dual channel and full autoland with flare rollout. I've been reading it in detail and fooling around trying out the different landing setups in FSX, but I seem to get inconsistent results when trying to do the full autoland. Can someone just real quick that understands how to set up a full autoland from LNAV/VNAV and from HDG/VS set ups. Just a short 1,2,3,4 list would be great. Like when to push the APP switch etc. I just sometimes get single channel land when I want a full autoland and I dont know why. Thanks
