    Ok, so I bought the NGX, thinking I'd suffer a bit of FPS loss compared to MD11 I own. With the MD I'd get around low twenties using middle to high settings and addon Aerosoft Scenery. But with the NGX, it's useless. I can only get decent FPS while using the 2D panel, and putting the settings all to the far left. Problem is, the 2D panel itself isn't sufficient to fly, for example, putting the flaps out it's nearly impossible. I have run my fsx.cfg file through the website the introduction manual mentions.Running Windows 7, 32 bit, with this hardware,Core 2 Duo 2.53Ghz4GB RAM DDR3NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256MB shared with RAMNow, this is a laptop, I'm aware the only upgrades …

    Greetings all, I've noticed that when flying into KLAX, the waypoints from the last point on the approach (eg: RIIVR, on the RIIVR2 arrival) and the last few runway waypoints (eg: on the rwy 25L approach eveything from LUVYN to GAATE) never seem to show up on the FMC. I always need to add those waypoints manually. Is this by design, as it's annoying to have to do this everytime I fly into LAX. Also....the RIIVR2 approach has a crossing restriction at RIIVR of "at/above 12000, at/below 14000". Does the NGX FMC allow me to add such a restriction, and if so how do you do it? Or do you just enter 12000, or 13000, or 14000?

    Flown the Tutorial flight twice now and I am loving the NGX, it's a work of art! I had a quick look through the forums and searched but could not see anyone else with this behavior. The first time I did tutorial I did it with no weather and the aircraft behaved pretty much as expected. Second time I wanted real world weather as I prefer to fly with this on, I use REX for the weather.     I have just tried to do my first flight out of London Stansted (EGSS) and have managed to crash fsx about 10 times now. I have tried entering in the SID for CLN8R, this works fine until I enter in a flight level on the PREF page, once I enter in the flight level the sim becomes unresponsive. I have also tried this with entering the SID at the end of the prefilght with the same Issue. My question is at present is there a issue / bug with the current AIRCAR?     im getting these strange occurances of parts of the FMC not being visable. And im also getting problems of when I enter infomation into the scratchpad, it doesn't appear but if i go to another page it would appear straight away without extra input.

    Change the PFD ND screen over to engine gauges instead, the ND map eats a bit of frames, I have found a framerate of 15 for the main PFD, and only 5 for all others works to help out frame rate variability. Also, the Copilots display is gone, which helps....and finally using the HUG really doesn't eat frames at all.... I left that at 15 also... All this on my system, others will have better luck I'm sure, or not need to do this...

  14. guys, I run fsx on a slow system (windows XP 32bit, cpu dual core @2.66ghz, 2 G of RAM and a Nvidia 9500 gtx), so I want to understand if I can run the NGX. if you compared the performance (FPS), where would you place it in this list of addon for fsx? i.e. Level-D 767 (great performance), CS707 (or 757, however very heavy on my os), wilco busses... thankyou so much

    I love the fact that the new TR sounds are so great, a feat no one has done until now... and I don't know how the sound on the idle reverse works, without playing a roar... simply amazing!! However, over previous PMDG models, and other payware, and freeware NGs... they only have TR power winding up to a lowly 30%.... I had always manually edited this myself in the respective aircrafts .cfg... but now, the PMDG jet goes up to over 80% in reverse! Not only sounds better, but I believe more realistic? I dunno... in the real life Beechjet 400A that I fly, reverse goes up to about 78% of full thrust, so I have to believe this is very real... neat!

    This amazing aircraft has shown me one thing.... I seriously need a better monitor! I currently run a good overclocked system (spec in sig) but the monitor is a six year old 19" (4:3) BENQ @ 1280x1024 I'd be very interested to hear what monitors you guys are using for this bird, at what settings AND at roughly what distance from your eye point? Presumably, I should be looking at wide aspect for FSX??? The is NOT room for very wide model. Thanks

    Three years ago I asked on Polish simulation forum http://www.il2forum.xt.pl/ why flying over FL300 default FSX B747 have problem with speed? They answered that is fsx issue and I should find some commercial aircrafts...I really like "big cars" so was trying to find some big machine. I chose B744X from PMDG. I remember that begining wasn't easy. But it was brilliant machine. Flying after few hours trying many configuration became really nice. It was my first aircraft from Your Team.Today I'm flying B748.I find in this machine some extra which made FSX not "spending time with flying" but really simulation.After few months PMDG develop JS41. I've never seen it on real life.…

    After a few flights the freeze issue hasn't reoccurred - which is great news - however a new issue has surfaced. The mode change highlight symbol (rectangle) that highlights around FD and CMD etc when autopilot engages now doesn't appear. Still works for the FMA but not for AP status box. I guess this wasn't intentional as it's only a test fix...but... Adam Turley

    Following the tutorial (and other flights) I can't seem to get the reverse thrust to engage properly. The tutorial says to press and hold F2 as soon as you are fully down, I do this but basically nothing happens. I can sometimes get it when I repeatedly poke, prod and hold the F2 key and then it only deploys when the aircraft has slowed a fair bit anyway and isn't really needed. Is anyone else experiencing this?

    Hey aspiring NG drivers, one often overlooked feature on aircaft are the clocks. Often they wouldn't work, are hard to operate and so on. On this one however (and yes, the sudden and unexpected FSX reaction made me instantly think, time to file another bug report) it's got some nifty little item to it I want to share because there are probably 99% of you who wouldn't try it out because there rarely is a reason to. Try to set date and/or time manually on the clock. Once you're done, you'll be surprised to see an FSX loading scenery screen. But it makes sense - the clock actually sets the FSX time to whatever you input. Quite a useful thought if you want to change condition…

    Hi All, First of all you did a great job with the NGX. The little thing is that when i'm using IVAO for online flights, the squawk doesn't set on Charlie Mode when i put it on TA/RA before take off, it seems there is no communication between PMDG radio panel and Ivap squawkbox... maybe some advise to solve that ? (having registered FSUIPC and it work with other A/C) Then, the issue i'm reporting is about the One-classe setting. When starting from cold & dark with one-classes setting as default, i set the payload page on CDU then press FULL PAX, Here is the BIG surprise, i've got something like 184/174 pax and remaining unable to change that number untill i go back to…
