I have just started to study the massive manuals, so please bear with me if the piece of info I am about to ask is somewhere in there. Is there an easy way to find real 737 flightplans on the Internet? I was looking specifically for Caribbean destinations (I am intrigued by that Canouan landing) and Australian ones, short segments (about 40 - 90 minutes) Tnx in advance Andrea

Hello guys,yesterday I purchased the 737NGX, but as the title says, I don't know how to activate it, normally it was so that you had to activate it before installation, but now they changed their system. Someone who bought it else told me, that when I select it in FSX opens a window, but when I select it happens nothing. When I want to fly with it, the instruments are black. I reinstalled it, I tried it with disabled Kaspersky, I tried it as admin, I tried it with disabled UAC-function, but nothing helped. Always the same. I hope you can help me. Hi guys, I'm seeing something weird here - I am on landing, CAT III ILS AUTOLAND and, well the PFD does not display LAND 3 and Rollout, only Flare. Now I'm pretty sure that I did everything right - Both course knobs set, both nav radios tuned in, both FD's on, etc. The plane actually autolands very well, it flares and such, but I'm not seeing the PFD confirm it. Any ideas? or is.. is.. this a bug? :( Please tell me I'm screwing up something!

I have a 30" HP 2560X1600 and some of 2D panels text kinda blurry and very hard to read. Compard to my 747X 2D test a lot better than my NGX ???? Anyone else got the same issue or it's normal. Thanks. Evan Banalian.

I transferred all the manuals I got with my amazing NGX onto my Ipad! Brilliant paperless cockpit in a jiff!!This is perfect when doing cockpit tests or tutorials or even non-normal checklists. This will do until I have enough money to invest in a printed manual

Hi,Since i replaced my video card on monday with a newer one, the brake temperature remains at 0.0 regardless how hard i hit the brakes. Before i changed the card, it was working properly - I even had to sent the bird to maintenance since i was interested to see how the steel brakes perform when they're hot. Anyone else has or had this issue? This is currently the only issue i have with the NGX - No CTDs, no other glitches, just "cool" brakes which don't get warm/hot.

It seems the VOR course lines (Green dashed lines) don't actually line up with the course/radial I'm on, although if the ND is in VOR mode, everything lines up as it should and confirms I'm on the correct radial, but for some reason if I align the VOR course lines to the actual course on the ND, it's off by a few degrees. Am I missing something? I've updated the Mag. variation that was recommended by Ryan in his pinned topic, still no luck. Anyone thoughts?

I was getting some variability up as high as 20% on the frame rate counter that created nasty stutters especially when taxiing, turning on the ground in the VC view that seemed worse after I was mucking around with a tree autogen setting in my fsx.cfg trying to tweak (which was dumb because this was a nice cfg from the ******* tweaking tool from a while back) anyways, after seeing more blurries suddenly, and jerkiness I deleted fsx.cfg... reran FSX to rebuild the fsx.cfg, then remembered *******' previously backed up and fixed, fsx.cfg and overwrote the new one again with that and.... pow! the NG was flying better with very little FR changes, unlocked within FSX itself an…

Is there any way to turn off the VOR ID audio after tuning and identifying it? To my knowledge keeping the nav audio on is only required for ADF, but I can't find the way to turn it off and it's driving me crazy.

hey guys, i have seen that getting the most up to date drivers for you graphics card would help to increase performance, (obv) but i am using nhancer which doesnt work with the most up to date drivers for the 9500GT (280.26) it says it works with 197+ drivers i dont have any stability problems with the 197 i.e. it hardly ever crashes and i do get quite reasonable performance but i was wondering if i could squeeze more fps if i updated the driver to 280, does this would mean i wouldnt be able to use nhancer? also would there be much of a difference in fps? someone out there should surely be able to offer some advice? thanks in advance!

Hi anyone else had problems commanding ALT INTV? Have flown the tutorial twice and this clickspot doesnt seem to work? I have had to increase altitude using LVL CHG. Also is there any way of 'disabling' the VC yoke so it is always in the down position? Many thanks for any help :-)

When I am ready for Take off and engage TO/GA in the Gatwick to Amsterdam Tutorial, both engines spool up. After 2 seconds, engine no. 1 runs down and A/T disengages. To overcome the problem, I quickly pull back both levers to idle, cancel the A/T warning, engage A/T again and press TO/GA. Then all works clear for the rest of the flight. Interestingly, this problem was definitely not there when I flew the tutorial for the first time. Can anyone help,Michael

I note what seems to be an error in the intro manual of the 737 NGX page 56 : "The airplane cannot fly the localizer properly if the CRS knob is set incorrectly" IMHO, I think this is wrong ! As you all know, the ILS system, to make it very simple, is a frequency + a unique course and a slope (+ a slope interception altitude). Once the VHF NAV is set to the correct ILS frequency and the interception angle is consistent, you can select any course you want with the OBS, it will not change anything, the ILS will be intercepted. Hey, Just letting the PMDG team know that the hot fix has successfully removed all "freeze" symptoms from my NGX. Thanks for this timely update, really is great! On a side note I am still experiencing failure of the exterior (and REX2.0) textures. This failure only begins once above 10'000ft and then remains for the rest of the flight (except in all replays, in which the textures are complete). I have HIMEMFIX=1 in my fsx.cfg, really have no idea how to fix this problem. If anyone could help out that would be brilliant. Regards,

If so, how's it going? I'm a dedicated Level D 767 man but I absolutely want to get the NGX especially if it will work well with the MCP. In an SDK released with it? If so hopefully Vrinsight will pick up on it and produce a software update.

Hi all, I seem to recall Ryan or someone else saying that scheduled maintenance failures would stick after closing FSX and reopening it. I've skimmed the introduction document and found the part where it says "It is worth noting that in the PMDG 737NGX the current state of failures is always saved. If you have a particular failures mode saved, and various failures are already active or armed to become active, they will remain as such when you load the flight that was saved in that condition" (PMDG, 0.00.48). This is confusing to me, as I'm not sure if I have to save my panel state every time I want to have the maintenance timers carry over when I load up FSX, or if they…
