its now one day later and still have not received a confirmation notice from pmdg for the 737ngx.Ihave it my fsx but also can't activate as well, need that key, please

Hi All Awesome plane but CTD around 15-30 minutes no matter what I am doing in the sim just looking around at scenery or using the FMS, this really spoils this fantastic aircraft, only happens with the PMDG 737 NGX for some reason, I have the hotfix applied also, no other addons running with default weather, only addon is ultimate traffic 2 Win7 Ultimate 64 bit16 GIGS of ramGTX570 I hope this can be fixed as I really want to do some good flights with this machine RegardsWayneadd, i get the little round blue icon then comes up with fatal error box FSX.exe then back to desktop Wayne

Is it still possible to change the colors of the speed and alt tapes on the pfd as well as the text on the fmc? Alex

Hello captains! I was experiencing a FSX crash and I decided to wait for the hotfix that PMDG announced.Today I downloaded the hotfix and installed on my PC.But the same error is still happening to me... Here's the problem: The 737NGX installation was sucessful. The airplane appears normally in the main screen of FSX.I load the NGX, and when the panel appears at the screen, in 2 seconds FSX crashes and closes immediately.Windows shows the message: "FSX stopped working". I have Windows 7 64bit with Service Pack 1 installed.I have also installed Visual C++ Runtime 2005 and 2008 and all Windows Updates.Please friends, I need help... since last week I'm trying to fly this air…

I have been flying mostly with the Virgin Blue 800WL VH-VUV aircraft and when I started like all of the aircraft I has 250hours until first service, well I got that down a fair bit and then the hot fix came. As suggested I uninstalled the liveries fearing my hours would get reset and they did but I would live with it, I also decided while I was at it I would fix my read only issue with the livery manager which worked out ok, However now when ever I do a flight and rack up some hours and complete the flight, when I return for another flight the hours are reset and are not saving anymore Anyone have any idea what going on or anyone know of a config file (can't find anythin…

Good day Gents, I'm sure that I'm not the only one, but I've noticed a small problem on the Kulula Flying 101 livery. I've done a quick search with no success, so thought I would post this here. The sides of each engine says 20 000 pounds thrust. They should say 26K pounds. Regards,

I see that you guys have considered it as an add on pack. What is so different than a normal 737-800? I know it has the Bombay and a military paint job, but isn't it still pretty close to an -800 with out all the seats? Really would like to know what makes the P-8 really unique? Do you guys have enough info on this bird to make it accurate with the different wings and winglets etc? That would be epic!

Hi, after seeing the PMDG 737NGX pictures and videos, I am considering going out and buying FSX in order to fly this one plane! My system.... Intel i5-2300 @ 2.8 GHz8GB of GDDR-3 RAMATI Radeon HD 6570 with 1GB of VRAM(if you need any more info, just tell me) Basically, I want to get 25-30 FPS on average. I would like my graphics to be as high as possible, but I'm willing to lower the airport scenery, cloud numbers, water detail, etc. in order to fly this plane. I certainly don't need traffic on at all! With that said, do you all think my computer can handle this aircraft? If not, how about any of the other PMDG stuff? Thanks!

Hi guys, I was wondering how much of a factor CPU speed is on NGX performance. For example, would an upgrade from 2330 hz to 3060 hz make a difference with FPS? I started considering this after I noticed that every time I try to run the NGX, my CPU usage stays firmly locked at 100% until crashing. Thanks in advance, Regards Dylan

Hello What speed and rate of climb should I be achieving on the 737, I cant seem to get past 220 knots at a climb rate of 2000 feet passing FL150, i am climbing out using the auto throttles at n1 around 98%, i read somewhere that you should be able to climb out at around 270 to 300 K at 2000 feet per minute when relatively light, thanks in advance RegardsWayne

Initially i won´t have problems with freeze, but I install the Hot FIx and now have problem with PF/ND, CDU and some buttons freeze, how can uninstall the hot fix? Thanks.

i think if the pitch is in Alt hld mode, the A/T should be in MCP SPD but why does this pic show a different thing? thanks

On my installation I have very few glitches at all. There is one, however, that is no more than interesting, it does not affect the operation of the aircraft. Each time I click an instrument, or turn a knob, the sound level changes at the same time without my having shifted viewpoint at all. Sometimes it is hushed but never mute, other times it comes through clearly. It seems to be some interference with the sound files, but is this mine alone or a known problem?

So on one of my test flights the FMC was much larger than normal, could I have hit a button that does something? I checked the graphics settings and they were all still the same, only the FMC had changed size... is this just a glitcht? Patrick Boynton

Just picked up the NGX yesterday I think. Figured I would try and get it into St Barths over the hill onto Rwy 10. Hats off to PMDG for an excellent flight model. It is incredibly stable and once set up and in the groove on an approach it is completely rock solid. The details about the landing and circuits are on the video description. I'm getting good frames within the first 20 minutes of loading the plane up, but the frames start to drop a bit, maybe 10-20% after about 20 minutes. Not sure if it's just FSX loading up all the mem or maybe a small mem leak, but on my modest system it's running well after a few tweaks on the FSX cfg file. Hope you enjoy it. JB

Hi- I was wondering if the view in the vc can be changed when you hit 'A' on the key board. I'm trying to acclimate myself to the vc because of all the great work done by the PMDG team (I've never liked vcs due to the frame rate hit and the odd viewing angles involved in using it). Would the EZdock app be helpful here? It would be nice to move back and up in order to see the overhead panel instead of pressing A four times :>) Thanks,Mark
