If I remember correct, one person from the development team was on the TS3 chat on the release day. I also think he mentioned that it would be possible to import FSX .pln flight plans to the FMC, but I have not figured out HOW. Am I correct or have I beeen dreaming this? I KNOW I can do it via VRoute as to the MD-11 and the .rte format. JJJthe Swede in Spain

Hi PMDG...Thanks for a great product! Only problem I've had so far is excessive fuel temperature. It's too hot. I first noticed a problem when I loaded the sim and aircraft in cold dark and quiet state. There was approx 4k lbs of fuel each wing tank and none in the center fuel tank. Once I connected electrical power, I immediately noticed EMDP over temp on the overhead panel. Asking maintenance to take a look revealed two failures active, but even after clearing the active failures, I still had overtemp condition. I searched the forum and saw a post that addressed this...suggesting that the problem was low fuel levels (since fuel is used to cool hydraulic system). S…

Using the NGX FSX used to crash every time I ended a flight. I didn't matter if I userd shortcuts or clicking through the menu.That problem seems to be gone after i removed the two ENB-series files I had installed in the FSX main directory. At least i have succeded in endning a flight twice now without FSX closing because of a "fatal error".I hope I have time for more flights tomorrow. The two files are called "enbseries.ini" and "d3d9.dll". FYI I haven't yet installed the freeze-fix. Just posting this if others are using ENB and are experiencing the same problem. BTW this is the best aircraft addon ever! I totally enjoy flying my new NG. Thanks PMDG! CheersLasse

Why do I have to have a generator online to open any of the doors in the FS Actions menu of the CDU? None of the doors on the plane are powered. They all open manually. The only thing that requires power are the airstairs. Is this just a sim-ism or is there a problem with my install? Does the FS Actions menu not interface with the plane until the AC power is on? Not a big deal at all just a curiosity. This sim is so deep that I'm having a blast just trying to enjoy all the little subtle interactions. I got the master caution light on my third landing for the over wing exits and immediately went to the manuals to find out that it ocassionally happens on the real je…

Seems the realistic AP was too sensitive on this flight. Tried a flight from CYLW to CYYC and after 5 unsuccessful attemps to engage the AP after I started to climb I finally turned off the realistic AP. 1st attempt after that, the flight was smooth from departure to touch down. Even the desent was smooth as glass with speed well in check. Only thing I could figure out that may be the issue is I had to do a 160° turn after departure to proceed on course (was on a straight and level climb when trying to engage AP). Everything was by the checklists. Anyone else experiancing this?

After loading the aircraft into FSX I noticed these strange characters on the IDENT page. They will not show up on every flight, but rather randomly. It´s mostly on the captains FMC and more rare on the FO side. Everything besides this is working normal and the functionality of the systems is not affected. Hello Everybody, During taxiing or in the middle of my flight the blue circle of Windows appears and after a few second I got a fatal error occured message and than CTD. It happens almost every time I fly with the 737NGX although I have the hotfix installed.It is so strange, because I flew a few times offline without any such a problem, but since I fly on IVAO this problem turned up.My spec:Inter core i7 3.88GHZGTX4808GB RAMWin7-64FSX Accel. When flying using 2D fwd panel especially on approaches, the eye height is totally incorrect. Unable to see the runway on approach and on landings unable to see the runway during flare (typical pitch attitude just below 5degrees, Flaps 30). Tried using the Shift + backspace/ Shift + Ener key etc but this just causes the side windows to appear as if the pilot is sitting extremely low in the aircraft. The FS9 PMDG 737NG worked perfect with regards to eye height during flare etc. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the correct eye position sorted out in 2D?????

Hi all,Having flown the MD-11 since its release the greatest difference I noticed to with the NGX was the slowing down after T/D.It takes much more time, you really struggle to achieve it and you use a lot more speed brakes. Any same impressions on that? Christos

Hello to all,as you can see into the file attached, into Virtual Cockpit I have about 20 FPS. Without Virtual Cockpit I have about 70 FPS.The photo is made into the same place and flight. Now, Why this difference? With the other aircraft the difference is insignificant but with the PMDG 737 NGX is a big problem, especially when I'm in Approch on Custom Scenery. I think that the problem for my Video Card are the reflections on the instruments. Is there a method to exclude them? Thank you so much.Christian.

Congratulations to PMDG on their fine 737. While checking out the details of the cockpit of the 800 WL model I noticed a graphics problem on the glareshield above the autopilot (see attached screenshot). It looks like some of the polygons on the glareshield have ended up with stretched UVW mapping. I would have expected the textured appearance to be continuous on the whole of the glareshield. Unless it is meant to be like that. I'm sure PMDG knows what it should look like. To be honest, I don't notice it in normal operation. It's only if you zoom in that it becomes noticeable. here is my name because I know you guys like to know that sort of stuff.Anthony Lynch

The hotfix solved my remaining problems and I am flying as much as I can. I have FSUIPC Autosave set to 1800 just in case. My PMDG KLM 737-800 is on the ground in Cairo. That is subject to change. Where are you now? Ed Farley

Having been out of the country on vacation the past month and a half, I have been following the forums to keep tabs on whats going on, and by the looks of the NGX is out (Duh) but there are also a whole slew of problems associated. Let me be clear, this post is not meant to rant, flame, argue, or talk down to the developers, please don't turn this into a flame thread. It just perplexes me as to how the NGX went through such an intense, and rigorous pre-release testing process to help reduce / eliminate what so many people are having issues with here today. I had been having freeze ups every other flight, either on approach when disc AT or CDU and when working in FMC legs page. Defragged and cleaned my registry file with Advanced systems care 4. Also cleaned up all the non linked files. 10 flights maybe more, been flying all day, NO FREEZES. Not 100% percent confident but much, much better and much smoother now also. I m even trying to get it to lock up! Not even getting the jerkies when activating HDG. Far to premature to suggest this is a cure but so far so good. 200% gooder :) P.S. I had no success with the Hotfix for Freeze ups. It had no effect on my lockups. First flight I had them

Can someone help me how to perform a correct "drag" descent from, example, FL320 to ground level? I've noticed that the 737 isn't able (better, i'm not able) to reduce speed, expecially in range 300 knots to VREF speed. FMC requires "more drag" and i've setted my keyboard in order to obtain one key for spoilers "flightdent" mode, one for"up", one for "down" and one for "50%" but, even in flightdent mode, spoilers aren't able to reduce the speed. No one drag in 50% mode. Am I in fail? Or Are flight dinamics in fail? Thanks alot since now, bye! Emanuele Bettinazzi

Hello, I did ask this before, but it got buried in the maelstrom. Is there a way to save the settings from the fs-config section on the FMC. I always start cold and dark (no problem saving that), but would also like to start main door open, cargo doors open etc? Thanks
