PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Anyone ever see this problem when undocking the 2d panel in the NGX? I fly in virtual pit but I use the 2d panels on my touch screen monitor for easy touch screen access. Have never seen the textures like this before. Notice the textures are perfect in virtual still. Any help appreciated.

I am in an unsuccessful update loop which I cannot figure out how to fix. When I load the PMDG Operations Center, I have a notification that says PMDG 737NGX - P3D v4: New update available. I click the OK button and a command line box opens for about a second then disappears. The notification screen then says no notifications. When I close the Operations Center and reopen it, the notification is back. The version page shows that my installed product is 1.10.6461 and the available version is 1.20.8465. I have tried launching the Operations Center as administrator, disabling my virus/malware protection, and running in safe mode; all of these attempts had the same result. Pl…

Has anyone ever seen this? Had the NGX in P3Dv3 and no issue, but after upgrading to P3Dv4 and reinstalling the NGX, Im losing some panel lighting above the MFD's. Hello, I have a problem with the TCAS. Since a few days ago I alway see some "planes" around me on the TCAS. But there are none. They are either always around me in about 1 mile distance or they are jumping around on the ND. It's really annoying especially on short final.

I recently started Tut 2 and after programming the FMC and all steps up to preparing to start the engines I saved the flight using the usual FSX menu.. When I loaded it this morning to continue, the engines were running, many of the previous system settings had changed and the all the flight plan data had disappeared. Only the fuel was the same! The tutorial says saving the flight will save ALL the current state. Not happy. What have I not done? Rob Stevenson

Hello, I do not yet own the PMDG NGX, but I am hoping to get it in the near future. Does the NGX currently have split scimitars like in the real world? The pics on the website I don't see them. If not can we add them please, it's very unrealistic. Thank you! -Mitch Young

I have moved on to P3D v4.2 and have the NGX installed. I do not use the default ATC in P3D. Since flying the NGX, I keep hearing the Morse code for the Localizer ( I guess) when I am sitting at a gate at departure or starting my approach. What the heck do I need to do to turn it off? What dial/ switch on the radio stack kills it? It is really bugging me. Thanks

Hey Guys - Not sure if this is a 737 problem or a Prepar3d issue, but in my 20 years of simming, I've never had an issue like this. I am having an issue using Prepar3d v4.2 with the PMDG 737, and while in cruise flight, for no reason, the plane disconnects from autopilot and goes into an uncontrolled bank which is unrecoverable due to overspeed trying to correct. I've never seen this issue using FSX with the same plane, same CH Products yoke and pedals. I am not using any add-on's. Sometime's I can get a short flight in without the issue occurring, but it seems on flights >150nm the issue occurs. Running on Windows 10, Core i7-4770k, no overclock, 32g ram, GTX 1070. …

I was in a Delta flight JFK to FLL and was on a 737-900.I noticed the plane had split winglets like the max. The sea tback card clearly said 737-900 and I don't think Delta has ordered any 737-max. All photos on the Boeing site show the 737-900 with single winglet? Can the Delta 737-900 have split winglets, or was I on a MAX?

I having issues some time, but not all times of the PMDG FMC causing CTD's with FSX-SE when I try to remove or change the flight plan discontinuities. Ideas?

How can I update the SIDS that are precharge in the FMC for the PMDG 737? In example, for MMMX, in the FMC, there are SIDS that are no updated and some others that are not included. I made a manually modification and adition to the precharged SIDS for MMMX, but now the FMC shows no SID for that airport. Please help me to update all the SIDS, not only the SIDS for MMMX. I just tried to fly from KPHX to KABQ (after a long period of not using FSX-SE), and when I tried to put in the REF. airport (KPHX) I received a "airport not in database" message. I tried various airports and received the same message. The only difference between now and the last time I flew, is I installed FS9 to try some of the CalClassics sceneries, but could not get it to work so I uninstalled FS9. Any thoughts or suggestions? Is it possible I screwed something up by installing/uninstalling FS9? Any help would be appreciated, thanks. Ed Henry

Icelandair just took delivery of their first 737MAX. A livery for the 737 would be great! Searched forum but do not see any entries on this.

So, here we go again with this topic (probably). I know it's a somewhat common problem. I had to verify the integrity of my game files, which made a clean slate dll.xml file. However, this created an issue with my NGX. I only have one problem with it though, and that is the Heads-Up Display being blank. I tried a fresh reinstall of the NGX but that didn't work. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Forgive me if this has been asked before...... I've been away for a VERY long time and starting to get back into the flying once again. I'm curious.....but what happened to all those beautiful repaints for download at the PMDG site? I've searched here at Avsim and have found some repaints.....but they appear to be for the first version of the 737, and not the NGX. The only thing I see at the PMDG site are for the DC-6 XP and the J41......all others are gone. I see the note that all other liveries are "downloaded" and installed via the operation center......however, from what I can ascertain.......you must have the repaint downloaded and saved somewher…

Hey guys can u help me with my wx radar? I have installed Active Sky 2016 and pmdg 737 with working wx radar but when i want to use it (active sky opened first) my wx radar doesnt show anything. What is the problem?

Since the p3d 4.2 update I'm having an issue when I setup the arrival portion of the flight in the fmc, and as soon as exec is engaged, vnav disconnects and most of the legs have no speed or altitude. The same thing happened to me a while back - I had posted the same issue after a software update a few versions ago (p3d update). Can't recall what the resolution was. Anyone else having this problem and resolved it willing to share what you did?

The standby indicator below the MCP is not visible to me. All I see is a square grey blank where the indicator should be. It has writing on it that reads "ISFD heading from left IRS only", I reviewed the manual which shows the indicator in section 10. How do I get this to display? Thanks Dom

Hi All, I guess I have found a point to make PMDG even more immersive. According to Flight Crew Operations Manual, even if flight directors are off during takeoff roll you can engage flight directors after takeoff by pushing TO / GA switch after 80 knots, below 2000 ft AGL and before 150 seconds after lift-off. I could not manage to do that in PMDG 737NG. It would be very helpful of you to confirm me. If you could manage engaging flight directors only by TO / GA switch after takeoff, please inform. Hello, I have a question about the joystick setting. My favorite is NGX, and I 'm using cyborg v1 stick. I'm using P3D default setting now and I feel it is too sensitive for Boeing aircraft. (because I heard Airbus sidestick is sensitive but Boeing's yoke is less sensitive.) So, I will change my stick sensitivity but I don't know what setting is most realistic setting for NGX... So I need some help!! Wonwoo.

Dear forum members, I do not know if I am doing this well and if there is already a topic, but I could not find it who can help me with a problem? It concerns the following: I fly with the PMDG 737-800 and recently, the plane follows the CDU only the Lnav and no longer the Vnav. After selecting the start and the Lnav and Vnav, the aircraft remains at approximately 2000 feet and the speed at 180 nm. This while everything is selected and activated. The plane keeps flying.
