PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Get these weird shadows, that only like show small details of the nose along with the wings being visible but the whole fuselage is not able to be seen from the NGX VC, but the shadows work perfectly fine in all of the other outside view points. Please help. Had trouble posting screen shot

Hi, What source, other than manual input, can change the Zero Fuel Weight/Gross weight value in the PMDG 737 (at the payload page in the FMC)? I have seen this value increase by itself while at stand in certain weather conditions. Thanks. /Marcus Haraldsson

I did a fresh install of P3D V4.2 and the 737 since then i have no information in the Hud its totaly blank. Thans in advance for the help. Dick

I was wondering..I am wanting to add the altitude alert when you had 10ft. to say, "retard" "retard" retard"....I found the sound, but I have been unable to attach it in the place of the original "10 ft.alert that is in place"........can anyone out there in simland advise me exactly how I go about replacing the 10ft. with this sound. I was able to replace it in my 747 queen of the sky pmdg and it works wonderfully. I know this discussion has been going on for a long time, and I think I have read just about every post on it, and watched countless Youtube videos. Here is my question, I have the setting in the FMC for A/T overide in THR HOLD and ARM only./ I also have it set so I can see the indication of where the throttle setting is and can match it when I am on approach and switch A/T off. I need the help of a camera specialist for P3D/PMDG/NGX. I use three TVs quite close to my B737 homecockpit to show the environment. Due to the double seater cockpit I want to switch between captain and copilot view. This is done via the hotkeyselect function defined in the cameras.cfg. The front TV puts the visible runway straight in front of the flying pilot. Works perfect. The TVs left and right with cameras heading - 60° and + 60° should follow this change, too. But the hotkeys work only for the active (or focussed?) window. Is there a way to switch the three cameras with one hotkey at once? Of course, it works with a window streched over three monitors. On the ground with the throttles at idle, N1 is at 20%. I can increase the throttles, taxi around, and placing the throttles back to idle will return N1 back to 20%. On landing however, when I retard the throttles to the idle position, N1 will not fall below 30% preventing use of the reversers and spoiler deployment. If I move the throttles slightly forward so that N1 increases to say 35% and then back to the idle position, N1 will reduce to 20% and I can use the reversers. Any ideas why N1 will not fall below 30% unless I move the throttles forward first? I've only seen this problem since moving from P3D v3 to v4. I use a Saitek TQ which is calibrated/axis assi…

Been almost 2 years since I flew the NGX, and just started again this past week. I am a bit confused on the actual takeoff procedure, even after tutorials and watching many Youtube videos. My confusion concerns VNAV and speed settings. I notice if I set the speed at V2 plus 20, and engage VNAV and LNAV prior to takeoff, the Vnav light goes out after I lift off. I try and re-engage it but it won't engage. Should I not set VNAV and just use level change on climb out, instead. ?

Hi, I have a problem that maybe is not only mine, but when I'm in the vc of pmdg 737 ngx for p3d v4, and I move the mouse over the pfd display it doesn't turn into a magnifying glass and if I click doesn't zoom the pfd, I have this problem only on the captain side, the fo pfd display work correcly and I can zoom it by pressing it.. please help

Hi, I am in the process of cockpit building with FSX (steam) and the PMDG 737NGX. I've been mapping switches and annunciators using events and offsets for the 737. I have some way to go yet to finish but I am considering migrating to P3D v4. I know I will have to buy the P3D version of PMDG 737NGX but what I would like to know is: Are the offsets and events between the two versions identical? i.e Will I have to re-configure all my inputs and outputs to use different events, parameters and offsets? I was on final to EDDR on 26R with my course selector set on 259 (as per FCM recommended course) and as soon as i clicked on VOR LOC to intercept the localizer the course digits changed to 257 alone which is not the correct course (I assume). So i disarmed VOR LOC and manually set it again on 259, armed the VOR LOC and again alone moved to 257. The third time i did this it finally stayed on 259 and i was perfectly aligned with the runway. Is this normal or a bug? (win 10 and P3d here). thanks

Hi everybody. I have a problem with the FMC of my 737-800ngx sp1d for FSX. Sometimes, during the flight, my fmc freezes all in a sudden. No possibilities to recover it, no button responds. I have read many forums, trying to find a solution for this issue. Apparently no real solutions. Now i'm used to plan the entire flight, putting in the fmc all the information it needs to complete a flight (SID, STAR, TL, speeds...). But it is a real problem when you, for example, want to fly online with ivao and the controller gives you a certain waypoint to go directly. I know many people have the same problem, hoping to find a real and concrete solution. Thank you.

https://imgur.com/a/oEQDz As you can see from the picture, the PFD is showing SINGLE CH even though both CMD A and CMD B are active, and both VOR/LOC and GS are captured. Why is that? I have both VORs tuned correctly to the ILS frequency, and set the HGS up too, not that it should affect the autopilots.

I've heard that it shouldn't take more than 10 minutes at the most for the IRS to fully align, but I was at PANC and it took 14 minutes! Is this a geological thing or is PMDG or P3D v4.2 to blame? If it is a geological thing, can someone explain it? If not, how do I fix it?

Hello All, Looking for an answer to this problem. I did a flight from London EGLL to Frankfurt EDDF using Navigraph AIRAC 1803 plus Charts. which list RW ILSor Loc as 110.55 - 07C, however during the flight I opened the INIT. and the runway Data therein was 111.55 which I accepted but the approach into land I aborted due to ILS not being valid. Has someone got an answer please for future reference. Richard Welsh

The PMDG 737NGX I have in P3D v4.2 has been spouting some minor issues, mainly with the wheel well light being inop. No matter how I flick the switch, neither the wheel well nor the ground lights up at light. All the other lights work fine though. Unfortunately I have no idea how to reproduce this, as it appears randomly, and on both the -800 and -900 models.
