I can't figure this out. The spoilers extend automatically when I advance the throttle. It doesn't matter if I have auto throttle armed or not, or RTO armed or not. When I advance the throttle fully the spoilers retract but then constantly want to deploy but immediately stow again. Any ideas? This just started recently. It started before updating P3Dv4.1 to 4.2. It happened in version 4.2 and I completely removed P3D and reverted to version 4.1, it still happens. I removed all of the spoiler, reverse thrust commands from my controllers to keep the commands strictly to the keyboard with no result. Thanks!

new problem in p3dv4.2 and pmdg737ngx I have been flying with pmdg 738ngx for a long time but now im getting two strange things and errors occuring The fms will load a ils approach but when i switch to vor or app the ils wil not show on the pilots pfd. I never see the locaalizer ( when selected ) but strangley i see it on the copilots The plane will not fly the ils, it does not show up. I dosee the ils freq on the pfd , i do not see the glideslope or cdi.,I have confirmed that it is loaded and activated. very odd. this has just started recently I am also getting a strage message in the fms saying "PIN PROBLEM " or something like that. Hi, just installed the ground package for FSX and I am starting to understand the concept, however after some time of flying I am no longer able to "move around in the virtual cockpit" and in this sense restricted from engaging flaps, brake in the air or at the ground as FSX functions also not work any more. Is there any command or action to "take back control" here? Also creating company routes does not work for the NG version, only NGX as they are not stored at the same place? Appreciate any help- its a great version when it works! I have Windows 10 Pro and latest versions of i7 processor and 16 GB RAM. Åke Friman

Hello, lately I've been flying with a bigger involvement in the planning phase, especially in relation to winds during the cruise phase. Being aware of that I've started avoiding strong winds when obvious, but I still have some doubts in relation to choices regarding FL, step climbs and descent. I'd like to know your opinion on: When is it worth it to delay climbs due to strong winds? Are 20kts less headwind worth flying 4-6k feet below optimal? Once estabilished on cruise, is it worth trying to go to a lower FL to avoid unforcasted strong winds? How much headwind should you lose to make it up for say 2k ft of altitude lost? To install pmdg 737-600/700 we need to update the pmdg 738/9 to version 1.20........... But it doesnt update, everytime i open the operation center there is again the notification that there would be an update for the 737ngx. I think that i turned something in the registry off, i searched ... a long time but i cant find an answer. Reinstalled everything btw. Hi all, I know this has been talked about millions of times. Split scimitars have been out and about on 737s for just over 5 years now. Of course, we would all love to see the scimitars on the NGX, finally, after them being on 737s for a while. I get that it's hard to create a new flight model, and add minor and small details to the cockpit, but it's been 5 years since is was requested back in 2013. I think all of us simmers would appreciate a model only split scimitar paid update at the least for now, and if it feels needed, the flight model and fuel burn update a bit later.

Hey Folks, recently I got few Bluescreens (no CTDs) caused by PMDG_737NGX_2.dll when starting up one of the engines. A quick goolge search didn't bring any help because there are some reported errors with the same .DLL when closing FSX...hope you guys can help me out because it's really frustrading. Hi This is a problem I have with accessing the Cockpit controls in the PMDG737NGX in FSX:SE whilst using the Oculus Rift, FlyInside and Leap Motion. Is it a Leap Motion problem, A FlyInside Problem, or a PMDG737NGX problem. Basically I am trying to start the PMDG737NGX from Cold & Dark using my hands in the cockpit with Leap Motion. Most of the swiches, dials, etc seem to work ok (although some can be quite annoying to operate!). However there are some of the switches that I just cannot get to work at all. 1. Hello Windows 10 \ P3Dv4.2 \ NGX Please can you assist. I recently needed to un-install and re-install the NGX. When I now open the OC and select the NGX, the previously installed liveries are still showing green 'Installed' but only the PMDG livery is displayed in the available aircraft within P3Dv4.2 Textures are visible in each SimObjects>Airplanes folder and listed properly in the aircraft.cfg Could this be an issue with the OC? I've been flying the NGX for years and very comfortable operating this aircraft. Since migrating to P3Dv4, I've been experiencing an unusually high number of spurious (what I can only describe as) "gear collapses" while taxiing around airports (typically between 5 and 15 kts). Sometimes during the takeoff roll, the sim will just randomly pop to the external camera with a "CRASH" with smoke coming pouring off the nose gear for no apparent reason - as if I just drove off a cliff. Good day! I recently bought the NGX 737 and I love it! I have 2 questions regarding it. 1 - Auto Pilot. I Came from using the stock 737 in FSX so I dont know what the LNAV AND VNAV do...I see everyone uses it in ILS landings but Im using to using VLOC and APP. Somotimes I click LNAV AND VNAV and i dont get a green light saying its been activated...so, how do I use auto pilot for ILS landings (NOT AUTO LAND) in the NGX 737? PMDG Operations Center notified me that updates were available for both the PMDG 737-8900 and 737-600/700 Expansion installations on my PC. But, I'm a bit confused ... I selected OK to install the update via the operations centre. "Download complete! Product is being updated. This message will clear when the update is completed ..." But, this has been taking a very long time. A text window opens telling me that a full installer download is required, and proceeds to give me instructions on how to download the installer packages from PMDG. No problem downloading. Hello, after a total reinstall of all my P3D V4.2 I tried taking off from Gatwick with the standard PMDG House 737-800 with winglets. I'm following PMDG 737 tutorial 1 (EGKK - EHAM) The problem is that after applying TOGA the plane' speed raises very slowly, like having brakes applied. In the end the plane reaches the end of the runway at 120Kts at best and looks like it's sticked to the runway even if I roll the nose up. Sometimes after some simulator/pc restarts everything goes normal and the plane accelerates normally, but most of the times it doesn't. The 737's wheels seem to be 1/4 sunk in the runway, I don't know if that's could be related to my …

It is nearly one year since I have my Oculus Rift now. Until June 2017, I used it with FSX, thereafter I shifted to P3D v4. I have completely left flat screen flying. To me, the PMDG 737, 747 and 777 are most addictive in VR. Cockpit visuals are no problem - I use the FlyInside software with its zoom function. But there is one thing which disturbs the immersion in the 737: from time to time, the cockpit sounds cut out for a short moment. This occurs more frequently (up to every few seconds) when approaching an fps-heavy airport. The CDU of the 747 and 777 both have the option to keep sound while not in focus, which is a proper countermeasure. The 737, however, lacks this …

So having successfully installed the 747 & 777, the NGX CTD when selecting it on the aircraft menu. I am expecting to see the registration key pop-up but it never gets past the point of pressing okay to confirm i want this aircraft choice. Im abit mythed... Brand new PC and installation and as mentioned the 747 & 777 worked fine and registered fine. Windows 10 AVG Anti-Virus (Full) - I did disable the firewall but this didnt help... Hey All, Not sure where else to reach out for an issue I've been trying to figure out myself. I've got the 737NGX and I haven't had an issue with it until 4.2. I've reinstalled it with the fresh installer from PMDG and run everything as administrator. I've changed performance settings both in the operations center as well as on the options menu in the FMC.
