PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi there, I have recently purchased PMDG 737NGX base pack. I have been flying it for a few times and I absolutely love it. However now it has apparently causes my prepar v4.1 to freeze up upon startup. just before the Select flight screen. according to windows log there is a problem with the sim1.dll which again according to CTD guide is caused by either an incompatible A/C or corrupted texture. So I removed PMDG and sure enough, prepar launched right up again. I reinstalled and then it froze up again. and so on. have anyone else had any trouble with this product ? I guess a lot of people are flying this bird around without the same trouble as I ? Can…

Every time I load the aircraft I am asked to activate it, which I do, and activation is acknowledged, Windows 7 FSX, have reinstalled 3/4 times , then PMDG Operation Centre updates carried out, but frustrating issue persists. Michael King

Here's a strange one: Pushing back from gate at KSEA. Everything like a dozen times before. The disembodied voice says: "Pushback complete. Please, set parking brake." I set the brake and commence to start #1 and I notice I'm still rolling backward. And no matter what I do, I continue rolling back. Brakes etc. The CDU indicates the push back is complete. I start #1 and go full thrust...still rolling back. Quit flight and start posting here. Strange.

My PMDG 737NGX tool bar does NOT have a PMDG Styles menu. Am I in the wrong place?

Hi, new here and need some help with this. I have Windows 10 running FSX on Steam. Recently purchased 737 NGX base package. I have had the package up and running once or twice and all seemed ok however a few glitches have arised since then. In virtual cockpit the flight deck is basically cold 'nothing on' and I am unable to manipulate any of the switches etc. Whilst like this if I switch to 'cockpit' (I guess that's 2D?) the graphics are all wrong. The flight deck does not look as it should with what seems like compressed instruments in the wrong places, no flight director switches, no auto throttle arm switch? The overhead panel is the same with an unusual representation…

Hello everyone, I've just decide to switch from FSX:SE to P3D v4.1, I've done a clean uninstall and install of everything. But i have one problem with the NGX... With only P3D installed everything works fine, no problem at all. Then I've installed ChasePlane and REX SkyForce and everything works with no issues. When i install the 737NGX, after 1/2 session of game, P3D start to crash on startup, when the splash screen appear. I had this issue before, so i decided to remove all the addons (PMDG, ChasePlane, REX, ORBX, PTA) and start from zero. As i sad before the problem start when i install the PMDG, could you please help me? Thankyou very much

After some time off from FSX, I came back and purchased Navigraph FMS date for PMDG. Ran PMDG-1601.exe and didn't know where to put data (program did not offer me a default setting - location box was empty and wanted me to browse for location). I chose ...FSX\PMDG\NavData and there were some .txt files there with the correct date. However, in NavData\PMDG\NavData\SIDSTARS there were only older data. I have downloaded Navigraph FMS data before, but either I was offered a default location to which I should download data, or I remembered where it went. Now I don't remember (getting old, I guess !). Oh, and the end result has been that the 737 FMS still shows NavD…

Hi, I'm having issues with both 737 and 777. I have updated the both, put i'm unable to click on any switches no glass is showing up and also wheels up as well. Can some please help and I've also emailed PMDG about this and they never got back about this issue. Can someone or even a PMDG rep please help.

I have recently encountered an issue with the sound 737NGX (both the 777 and 747 works fine). I cannot hear the sound of the engine when looking straight ahead, only the other sounds (fans, button click, etc.) However, if I pan to the left or right, up or down down, I can hear the sound of the engines. Previously I've had some issues with no sound at all, usually fixed by restarting the sim, but I can´t seem to fix this issue. I use headphones and through the realtek sound options I've set it to quadrophonic, which as I stated previously works fine in all other aircraft I have (PMDG and others). I set up the 737-600 NGX for a short flight from EGNM Leeds Bradford to EGNX East Midlands over the weekend. I selected the Dopek 2W SID as a departure, but the aircraft had trouble following it. When I selected LNAV above 400 feet, it made a rather too gentle turn to the left (completely ignoring the magenta line on the ND), so I switched LNAV off and then on again to try and get it to engage. However, the aircraft then made an incredibly steep turn to the left, and dived into the ground in what can only be classed as a "death spiral". I have never seen it do that before! Hello everyone, I recently got a new computer and decided to upgrade to FSX steam. I successfully installed the PMDG 737 Boxed version into FSX: Steam, and it shows up in my aircraft selection. The problem, however, is when selecting the plane: it tells me I need to enter my activation code. So, I enter the code from the box, and it is unsuccessful. Do I need to contact PMDG directly or is there a workaround?

What can I expect of the 737ngx in terms of performance (fps) in fsx:se on this laptop? Should I buy the NGX or not? Currently I have the eaglesoft C750 V2 running at 15 - 20 fps at FlyTampa Amsterdam with REX Sky Force. I was cruising along happily and suddenly I noticed a massive drop by my lnav speed bug. I haven’t flown this aircraft in quite some time and want to know why this happened? It caused me to miss the next descent checkpoint. Is this new? I don’t remember it from before. I was attempting to descend to fl 111, but it wouldn’t go down while the speed was decreasing. I’m assuming this can be changed in the fmc? Pattick Boynton

I have updated and 99% realistic panel config files for the 700, 800, and 900. Since United moved to the new style layout. Taken from helpful users on the forum and looking at pictures online. Please let me know if you have any changes that can be made to make them more realistic or any helpful hints like typical flap takeoff/landing settings and cost index, typical descent speeds, etc. The 700 and 800 models all have different MCP styles depending on the aircraft, and standby gauges so you can mix and match, this is my preferred setup. I think the 900's all have lcd standby instruments and one mcp type - David Lee 700 800 900

This happen when used saved scenarios., sometimes P3d crash after bouncing or sinking to the ground, sometimes it loads with engine and FMC running but all instrument gauges is black. Reinstalled several times with the same result, no old panel stated or scenario files in use. ContentErrors.txt show a tons of these lines [error.999] error=Payload station indexes should be between 1 - Number of Stations

After installing SP1, reinstalling liveries and selecting low res textures, I took the NGX for a spin around Gatwick... After going into an exernal view then back into an internal (both tried with VC and 2D) engine sounds had stop working, even though the engines were running... I shall see if I can replicate tomorrow.Craig

One thing I've noticed when landing is how the sound of the speedbrakes deploying is played over and over again after touchdown on some landings. Since this doesn't happen on all landings it seems to be triggered in one way or the other by how you land. Could it be the decent rate or if both sides of the main gear touch down simultaneously...I'm not sure. Anyone else noticed the same thing? Not a big deal but does sound a bit weird and unrealistic hearing the sound repeating in this way so would be great if it somehow could be fixed or at least understand exactly why and when it happens.

Recently started flying the NGX 600/700 expansion after installing it in P3D4.1, and encountered a strange issue: After apparently normal startup flow from NGX SHORT, when I advance throttles above idle to start taxiing out, the left engine suddenly fails. Yellow ENG FAIL warning on EGT display. and low oil pressure. Yet the PMDG SETUP\AIRCRAFT\FAILURES, shows no active failures. Service based failures are off. Performing maintenance doesn't resolve the problem. I've also tried loading the NGX DEFAULT panel - with engines already started - but get the same problem. I was wondering if anyone has a solution why the plane turns away (737-800 NGX WL) at a Backcourse ILS landing. Everything seems to be going well, however, just before the touchdown the plane turns (sometimes left, sometimes right) away from the runway, so that it ends up next to it. This happens even if I switch off the a / p and autothrotlle just before touchdown and when I have selected fair weather. Thanks in advance! Regards Edward.

Hello all, When I attempt to turn my TCAS to TA/RA (or anything different than Standby), it's glitches and snaps back to the Standby position. I've checked my chaseplane and believe I have no conflicting key commands. Everything else with the aircraft works perfectly fine.
