Okay...is there any place that houses the PFPX profiles for the -800WL and -900WL variants? Having a rough time trying to find anything.

Hi all, newby question: as the NAV knob on my 737-800 radio stack only moves in multiples of decimal 5s, what effect, if any, does this have on the auto land procedure where airport frequencies are shown in single decimal digits ?

I know that the last PMDG 737NGX is "Product tested with Lockheed Martin Prepar3D v3 and v4. NOT COMPATIBLE WITH PREPAR3D 2.x.. " I had the Boeing 737NGX with P3D v2 and yesterday I bought the last P3Dv4.2 What seems strange to me is: if I open the PMDG Operation Center and I click on the product <PMDG 737NGX - p3d V4> this message appear: "Please note: You have installed a versione of this PMDG product in P3Dv3, which means that you can also run this software in P3Dv4 by installing that simulator and then installing the P3Dv4 version of this product from your installer. It seems to me I read somewhere to not install the PMDG-737 into the default folder,but rather create a special folder. As I do not remember where I read it I ask the question here. Also: would you install Flight Simulator Deluxe Edition into the default folder ? Hubert Werni

Looking at cockpit videos of the 737 MAX, I noticed they have those noisy motorized wheel trim controls. That would drive OCD Pauly crazy. Is the 737 the only currently built Boeing that has them? And how come the 737 MAX (such a new plane) uses them, wouldn't a FBW system replace them.

Hi, I install the pmdg 737 and I have some problems . When I start the flight I select cold and dark ,but when I prepare the airplane for pushback and start engines, Engine 2 Show me low oil pressure , I checked the oil quantity and it was 12 ,but engine 1's oil quantity was 15 . please Help me ? Hi! So I was going to do a short flight from KJFK to KBOS. I was about half way there (between NEWES and RAALF) when all of a sudden the plane made a sharp right turn and began to go nose first into the ground. The bank angle alarm and overspeed warnings went off. I attempted to recover (I got up to get my tablet), and I managed to level out, amazingly enough :Applause: (I was proud of myself), and went on with the flight and made a successful landing at KBOS. Is this normal? I didn't plan any failures... Any help/ideas are appreciated! -Phil

Hi, I was changing the flight deck lighting for the first time on the House Winglets aircraft and it seems to have caused a problem. When I was using the Master Lights Test and Dim Switch, I got myself a bit caught up with the switch and appear to have caused a problem. When I now select this particular aircraft and 'fly now', the aircraft appears at the runway and starts running the initialization routine. But a warning light and sound begins and at the end of the routine, the aircraft 'view' starts to flutter around and the aircraft moves around violently and uncontrolably. What have I done wrong?

Fellow Flight Simulation Pilots, I am putting FSX Steam on a new computer, and I want to keep the panel states I created for the 737. Are the panel states saved in a file in the FSX Root Folder? If so, could I just put that on a USB drive and put it in the panel state folder when I install the aircraft on the new computer? I hope this makes sense. Thanks, Kevin Davis

How can I find a guide to the switches and lights in the PMDG737NGX. When I am flying at night time, I can only see the screens light up.

Anyway to convert the 737-900NGX to an ER (extended range)? Seems like the current model has max fuel load of ~46000 lbs. Would like to fly one from US east coast to Austria. Thanks E. Acio

Hi. At the last two flights I have had trouble keeping the speed up during the climbing phase. To solve the problem, I had to switch to VS mode and reduced the climbspeed. I have also shut off the autothrottle and given full powwe to fix it. Flyer 737-ngx and has P3D v4.1 Anyone who has any tips on what is the problem? Br Lars Törnqvist, Sweden.

Guess I should primarily post this over at IVAO instead in the IvAp support forum but since there have been a number of discussions here too regarding online traffic, TCAS etc I figured I ask you guys too if it might be NGX related somehow...hope it's OK. I haven't changed anything to my IVAO online setup as far as I know but for some reason I no longer see any other online traffic around me inside FSX. I don't see them on TCAS, I don't see them in any views v/c or spot view and I don't see the traffic in Aivlasoft's EFB. However another online pilot just helped me confirming that they can see my a/c just fine and I'm also seen by ATC just fine. Any idea what could cause …

Hello PMDG. Problem at landing the 737 (all versions): I have fully configured my plane, i am on ILS, Speed is stable, speedrake is armed (green light) flaps set to 30, or 40; green light, gear down, three green. autobrake is set to 1, 2 or 3 ; after touchdown i set thrust reverse, so near 70 to 60 knots on rollout i disable reverse, give manual brake, and the autobrake switch automaticly to off. now the speedbrakes goes to the up position (the green armed goes out, the orange light goes on) i think that is to late, the speedbrakes should go up when the main gear is touched the ground? any solution was bad here? thank you , thomas Ed…

When I open the Operations center I get Notification to update .....when I click Install update Ok.....some files are downloaded and the notification finishes.....however no update gets installed. The installed version shows old version.....shutting down OC and restarting again I get the notification to install the update.....the cycle keeps on repeating Any idea what is going wrong? Zia

Hello, I was wondering something, Before we give TOGA we usually give 40% N1 to see if stable and as far as I recall once N1 has reached stable 40% the EGT decreases which makes it "stable" then we give TOGA. Can anyone confirm this? I looked at many videos online and I see the EGT decreasing before they give TOGA, in the simulator my EGT is always increasing and staying the same, no decreasing. I am wondering if there is a way to view the flight displays in a separate window without undocking the main ones as it' a bit silly flying with black screens in the cockpit.

Flying in areas with famous mountains (St Helen, Everest, K2 ....) I would like to see the point on my ND. So I should add a waypoint on the NAVDATA with certain coordinates and then insert this waypoint on the fix page. How can I do?
