PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hello all, Made my change from FSX tot P3D v3.2. Installed de PMDG 737 800-900 base package. Also installed my FSUIPC payware version to configure the controls on my Saitek pro flight yoke system. The plane is operating normal, but after landing gear retraction al my display units freeze and de yoke control is stuttering. When i put the gear lever in the off position my DEU's are working normal again. Does anybody know this issue? I already did a PMDG repair, it helps for 1 flight and thereafter i had that issue again. Thanks for the answers! Greets, PH-WVW.

Hello, I am trying to install AIRAC 1804 to PMDG 737NGX. I am using Navigraph. It says in the NavData Manager that the AIRAC is 1804. But on Ident on the FMC in aircraft it says it has AIRAC 1108. I tried to enter the path manually under: - Prepar3D/ - Prepar3D/PMDG Both do not work.

Not sure this is a PMDG issue but checking....I’m having this weird problem when engaging the thrust reverse with my saitek throttle lever. I hear the front wheel touchdown sound once which is normal but then it repeats again on a loop as if i was slamming the nose over and over on the asphalt. I don’t have this when I use the R button. The lever I use is programmed on reverse thrust quickly with repetition. I tried without "repetition" but then i get no thrust reverse at all. Any suggestions?

My 737 NGX is working good. . When I use the cold and dark tutorial for start up it works perfect. As long as I am using ground power. However when I try a start up using the APU I cannot get the speed bugs to transfer to the speed tape and the warning No VREPs does not disappear. Now I know it has something to do with the packs. And they can also be deleted by using a fsx key to release the handbrake. But this happens and the aircraft has not moved. . I have also tried with the packs on auto and off . . But the bugs will not transfer. Being well on the wrong side of 70. I know it is me. But I am dammed if I can see what I am doing wrong. Help..

Hi All, I am trying to make a conditional action in Spad.Next for starting the APU. What I am trying to do is if the engines are shutdown then start the APU (and set various other switches/selectors) but if the engines are running start with a slightly different set of actions. I was hoping to read the current N1 values to set the Condition however I am struggling to find how to read these values. I have tried the SimConnect Eng N1 RPM:1/2 setting but it does not appear to read valid (or any) values Any assistance will be most gratefully received

Hi, I am here again today to bring up a problem; whenever I set the approach and press the "APP" button on the MCP, instead of saying LOC and G/S, it says FAC and GP. This happens for all ILS approaches. I looked this up online, but there really wasn't anything except for a mention of an IAN approach. I have no idea what that is, but I just want this fixed, because I am annoyed of it. Also it seems like I can't do an autoland with the 737. Here is an image:I hope someone can help me with this. About two years ago, did I see a general post that indicated the NGX was being developed for X-Plane? Is that development still proceeding, especially as now it appears that a high quality version is in Beta for X-Plane and it's free? The YouTube videos indicate a quality product. And it would seem that X-Plane is not having the performance problems of P3D V4 and also has better flight dynamics. Neil Bradley

I have just formatted the pc and installed p3d v.3, I immediately installed the pmdg 737ngx, but when I select the pgmd 737 it shows me the black screens, black buttons, so not working. Strangely enough, he does not even ask me for the key to activate the plane. In addition, the operation center sees me 2 updates that I install, but at the restart of the same I still see the same updates, as if I had not done them.

Hi, I have just bought an enhanced sound package for the ngx from tss and they mention that it is recommended that some pmdg sounds from the cockpit be disabled as they drown out the sound of the engines. I must admit that the fan sounds are all I can hear when flying. unfortunately they don't say how this can be achieved. I did find some cockpit sound files in the SOUNDS/VARIOUS folder but I don't know which is which. has anyone done this sort of thing before? thanks

Hi all, I am using some ch pro pedals within the p3d v4.1 sim. I also have SPAD NX which I use to calibrate all my controls and Saitek panels. FSUIPC is also running (paid version). I have the (enable controllers) in the p3d options unchecked. the problem is that when I steer the aircraft left or right by pushing the pedals, the wheel turns but then straightens up again as soon as my foot stops moving, so if I push the pedals full left, and then hold my position, the wheel straightens up until I waggle my foot a bit which makes it turn again until I stop moving and it straightens up again. its not holding a value for some reason. looks like I am practicing riverdance when…

I looked through the forums as thoroughly as I could, and every thread I found that talked about reactive windshear dated back to before SP1d. I know the predictive windshear warning is modeled, I've heard it go off several times. However, I have yet to hear the reactive windshear warning go off. This makes me wonder if it is implemented. Can anyone confirm its implementation or not?

Sort of an odd question, but one I have been fighting here recently. So I still follow the tutorial distributed by PMDG. Yes, I still have yet to master the FMC, but I'm learning more and more as I fly. With respect to the B737-NGX, I noticed last night while flying the Tutorial #1 flight, that my aircraft fails to stay on it's flightpath. I have both LNAV and VNAV active (with autopilot set), but as it approaches turns ion the path, it appears to overcompensate and as a result, when it approaches a straight vector, the plan has to do three or so slight turns to correct the flight vector in relation to the plan vector. I have the Flight Deck Solutions Multi Radio and Xponder for my 737 NGX. The radios have back lighted button and they look great when lighted. The problem is in order to turn on the back lights for the radios I have to turn on the dome light located on the upper overhead panel. Its a strange way to turn on the back lights and seems kind of counter intuitive to me. Not sure why FDS put it there but there it is. the light casts a strange light over the MIP giving it a weird look especially dunning night flights. My question is there a way to turn off the light or turn it down so far that it can not be detected? This way I can have the radios back lighte…

When I shutdown engine # 2 completely, then engine #1, #1 will not shut down completely. Any help from anyone? John Martin

After flying with P3d v3.4.22 19868 Setup for awhile, I just purchased v4 and installed it. I was advised somewhere that my PMDG 737 would only install in P3dv4 if I first removed it from V3, with the assurance that I could add it back to V3 anytime later. I did the uninstall and installed it into V4 with no issue. Now I want to have the 737 installed back into P3d V3, but the installer blocks me with this message: "An outdated version of Prepar3d v3 has been detected. Before you can install this PMDG product you will need to update Prepar3d." Well, I did a full new download of P3dv3, which is most certainly current, but PMDG still blurts out the same message.…

Hi, I just bought the NGX expansion pack for the 737-600/700 and wanted to add some new Southwest liveries for the 700 series . I found some ptp files on avsim and downloaded them. When I wanted to install them with the PMDG livery installer( I executed the installer with administrator rights) a window popped up which said that there a multiple liveries included in this ptp file like clean, dirty etc. You should choose one from the list in order to install the livery. I clicked on the desired livery and pushed the ok button. And.... nothing happened. Nothing was installed. By the way the livery names in the list are written in red letters. Hi Everyone Have recently installed the B738 in my P3DV4.1 and having some texture issues at night time. The install was as administrator and the aircraft flies alright but at nightime, the the backlighting of the yaw damper, flaps indicator, rmi and crt controllers on the pilots side stop working mid flight. The yaw damper, flaps indicator, rmi are just very dark unreadable areas on the panel and the CRT controls have no baclighting either but only on the captains side. Should i uninstall and try again or has anyone else seen this behaviour before? Regards Tim Carter

I've had this issue before. Clickspots start to act funny... then they work and stop working randomly... then they stop working altogether. This happens over the span of about an hour. Some background, I am aware of the viewpoint behind the seat issue that is notorious for clickspots vanishing. I have been running EZDOK for about a month now with no issues. I have not changed any viewpoints in the last month, this problem just started tonight on this particular flight. By the end of the flight, clickspots and all buttons were essentially not usable. I have my pwn FMC that i use from jetmax but i also did this test on the actuall NGX FMC and it still crashed. This what happens, basically setup the FMC enter weight and fuel, enter route, do the perf init and this is where it crashes - i got to arrivals select ils 24 i got to the legs page to execute and boom everything freezes

Hello PMDG Support I had well working instance of PMDG + FSX:SE and found out about Aivla stuff. After installation, the FSX:SE started to ask me about PMDG license number. I typed my license number but is not accepted due to following error. I do not have an access to FMC in order to remove license. How can I to restore PMDG aircrafts and functionality? Hello all, I purchased the PMDG 737 NGX about a year ago, and it has been giving me issues when fsx loads into the new flight for a while now. After clicking fly now ( with everything chosen- airport, weather, time, and aircraft selected to the pmdg) it loads up into the PMDG, however instead of coming up with the green message that says initializing (at top of screen) it won't show any messages but instead will lower the heads up guidance system screen (if installed) and will not allow me to click any other buttons.
