PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

  1. Hi, I knew MS access DB is installed with 777 but is it true for 737 also? I know 737 does not come with RAAS. I never saw it being installed in the older releases. Did something new happen with the latest installer for P3Dv4?

    Hi, I'm completely new to PMDG and the 737ngx. When, in P3D4, I select the aircraft to begin tutorial 1, the revolving 737 is incomplete, showing the interior in both sides. Is this likely to cause me a problem and if so what should I do? I've carried out a repair of the 737-NGX installation but no change. Thanks, Jim

  4. There is something that I miss and you can better explain me. the CI setting impacts (indirectly derived by its definition) the speed during the CLIMB, CRUISE and DESCEND phases. So when I set a specific cost index in the FMC I am telling it how I want the speed to be managed in those phases. But when I have to choose the N1 limit variables choosing the DERATE and the CLIMB type, am I affecting the desiderd cost index too or are they two uncorrelated concepts. If yes...why? In other words...may I choose a CI 0 or 500 (for the 737 NGX) whatever CLB and DERATE I choose in the N1 limit page respecting the CI set?

  5. I had the PMDG 737 NGX installed in FSX-SE, but decided to use my old FSX for awhile, so I deregistered the product through the FMC, redownloaded an installer and put it on FSX. The plane worked fine, but my sim didn't, so as previously stated, I went back to use the FSX-SE. So, again, I deregistered the 737 through the FMC, redownloaded another installer, uninstalled the previous install, and then relaunched it to install again back into FSX-SE. The problem is that the installer doesn't give me an option to install it anywhere, it just installs it. I launch FSX-SE, and it's not there.     Ive been able to have the NGX intercept and capture and follow the ILS without tuning the freq for that runway. Just select the runway ILS in the FMC, and then when your ready to do it, hit APP and the diamonds will appear and the plane will capture and follow the ILS.

    Hey all, just purchased a second hand boxed version of PMDG NGX base package. Once installed, FMC about section told me that NGX version was SP1B. Operation center told me that an update was available 1.20... which is SP1D. When updating, the about section of FMC give me version 1.1. I precise that WXR radar is available in my panel. Hi guys I reinstall FSX last February and with it all pmdg products including the 737, everything went good on the installation (clean install, licenses etc) and yesterday I was about to flight my 737 and the Error: Activation library handle creation failed - (50003, 71000, 10104) came up.     According to the PMDG-737 manual one should not install FSX into the default directory Therefore I created a folder called FSX1 to install FSX. How about other program like Switzerland Professional,Frankfurt airport,Electronic Flight Bag,Navigraph,PFPX etc Where to place them ?. Thanks Paul12

  12. Hi all many issues with PMDG 737 NGX. Now no longer can fly the plane. Issues include flaps not randomly extending, engines randomly not firing up, either both or one of them, sometimes they fire up but won't give any power, also on runway the aircraft will speed up to take off speed but won't take off. All these issues don't happen all at once. Was working fine up until this afternoon. Have tried the different panel states including resetting it to cold dark state, this is good money spent on this add on for fsx, but so many issues. Not sure why it's doing this. When it works, it works fine. Not sure if I need to uninstall the whole thing and re-install it again. …

    I hope you can help. I am looking for a real throttle quadrant for the NGX (Prepar3D v4.1). Does anyone have any suggestions on what to use or any experience with FlightSimPM products? I tried to move some of the panels to a 2nd monitor but it did not stay there after reloading the 737. I tried air manager but their throttle quadrant (software) did not work either. So I deceided to go for the real deal but I have no idea which is a good one so I would appreciate your help. Thanks Bernd

    Has anyone experienced a complete freeze and app hang when trying to select a particular arrival? I am getting it for PHOG CAMPS3. When I push the LSK for that arrival it happens every time. It takes about 10-15 seconds before it freezes and then P3D hangs. Everything else is working just fine. I can select other arrivals no problem. I have the most recent AIRAC.   15. I just started using this plane, and I am experiencing a maddening issue with fuel. Seems that no matter how much fuel I put in this plane, which I am all doing through the FMC, I either run out of fuel before takeoff, or shortly after. I CANNOT complete even a very small flight without running out of fuel. I can't even make it down the runway in most circumstances. I assume I am doing something wrong, but for the life of me, I cannot figure out what.

    The FMC is capable to tell me when is the right time to STEP up at a higher altitude. When that time comes i need to press on ALT INT or it will just stay where i am and just display "now". Is there a way to tell the FMC to step at a higher altitude automatically without me needing to press ALT INT?

Hello everyone Im looking for a good weather program that shows weather radar in the 737 pmdg does the rex skyforce 3d shows weather radar on the 737? i think rex skyforce looks amazing but if i buy it and it does not show in the 737 wx radar ill be very dissapointed any advice will be appreciated. ivan

  18. The Navigraph data manager shows as 'updated' for my PMDG 737's, as well for the other aircraft and add-ons. Yet when I am pre-flighting the 737 lately, I'm getting "Nav data out of date" and it seems stuck on AIRAC 1805, the previous data cycle. Any advice appreciated.

Hi all one again the 737 NGX PMDG is not initializing which means I cannot do anything on the plane in the sim on any flight, all gauges, panels and controls are off and unusable, cannot do mouse clicks, this weird issue randomly happened before. I have saved panel states which include starting configurations on short and long, which is preferred, and these worked before but not now. All files are still there in the original folders, nothing has been updated in the sim, apart from a new plane added but this wasn't PMDG. I know that you can load the start up state from the FCDU, but not able to even click the mouse on it. Not sure what this issues is, looking at forum…

    I am flying at FL340....no alarm...all seems to be right...but why have I the ange of attak gauge at 2.2 (I see I am not leveled also in the PFD)? Flaps are retract...spoilers off. Is it due to my unbalance load? (144 pax and 10 + 100 cargo load aft and fwd)

    I would expect that once I land, I switch off the radar. The procedure (that I found among all the manuals) is to switch off the WX button.... Is this enough to avoid to hit with the radar waves the ground people? I would expect a clear radar off knob?!

    When I click outside the VC monitor. I have a 4°screen that I use for maps and others...as I click on it, the engine and all other sounds disappear. This is a different behaviour compared with other aircrafts, is it possible to change it an to have the sound also if I am clicking outside the flight environment?

  25. When doing two approaches on my PMDG737, I find it a little difficult (and unreasonable) to fly the KLGA Expressway 31 and the Tegucigalpa RNAV 02 exactly as published. I live near KLGA and see planes having at least 1 mile straight into RW31. The KLGA Visual 31 chart has you completing the turn almost at the threshold. It seems planes go a bit wider than published. Same with the MHTG (honduras Teguigalpa) RNAV 02 approach. The chart has you start making a 100 degree left turn at TG011 which is a tight turn 3/4 miles from the runway. I know there is very low terrain on the right side, but I see some 737 and 757's turning with 25 seconds of straight flight into RW 20…
