PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi all, I don't do forms to much unless I am at a loss of what to do, so here goes. I am using FSX as my flight sim, I am tring to get my opencockpit EGT and flap gauge working with PMDG 737-800 and my built overhead panel, I can not seem to get correct scripts to use, any chance of maybe someone sharing a script? I have tried opencockpits and others that I have found on the net, but nothing is working even after changing the numbers. Thanks

The Bank Angle switch seems to have no affect on the 737. If I set it to the lowest (10) the auto-pilot pays no attention and the turns are whatever the simulator seems to want - often turning at 20 or 25. Is this supposed to happen? I thought the switch would control the angle of a turn but as it doesn't I'm wondering if this is one of those features that wasn't included in PMDG 737NGX. Could you check, please? I was wondering instead of 12 can you make 20 for first class please.. All United 737-900 have 20 seats in first class 179 seats total through out the aircraft.. Also I had an issue.. I had a ZFW today of 140.7 and I kept getting invalid.. So because of load layout and not having 20 seats in first. It must not be laid out in same as United planes there for not allowing for a zfw of 140.7

Hello, upon completing my order of the PMDG 737NGX package, I received the email containing the link to download. I click this link, i re-direct to a sign in page, where I successfully sign-in, and find the hyper link "Click here to download this file." I'm using P3Dv4.3 with windows 7...... I've just done a reinstall of my PMDG 737ngx and the 600-700 expansion but now when I load up after about a minute the aircraft sinks into the tarmac about the depth of a wheel then starts bouncing violently, at the same time the aircraft is un flyable and I have to reboot P3Dv4.3 to get it to work correctly. Is this a known problem? is there a fix?

Good afternoon, I fired up the 737NGX for a quick flight and lowered the HUD and there is nothing displayed. I checked brightness and nothing changes. Using latest version with P3Dv4.3, Windows 10 up to date. VR Todd Hontz

Hello, So long story short. I did a clean install of P3D and I installed the NGX (I downloaded the installer today 11th of august), Everything is okay but in the operations center I keep getting the message that an update to the NGX is available, so I run it and supposedly it does it's thing, but If I reopen the Ops center the message comes up again. It says that I have installed 1.20.8465 and it offers me to update to 1.20.8885, it is strange since the installer is completely fresh, I redownloaded it to be sure. Been flying the NGX for a couple of years, and one thing I am confused about is speed settings for descent's. I use an ATC program, which tells me when to begin descending, so I never use VNaV. I use level change all the time for descending. My question is, what is the proper speed that should be sent for descending. If I am at FL 360 for instance, and told to descend to say FL 240, I always switch the speed IAS/MAC setting to IAS, and set in around 270, unless 270 is too high at that point for the altitude, so set it to bottom of red arc, and then as I descend I gradually move it to 273. The knobs controlling the MCP and EFIS flood lights only work when it is dark outside. Is there any way to make this work also during daylight ?

Hello, probably this in the wrong forum, Couldn't find a dedicated request for paints. Question: is, or can anyone, doing the new Air Canada Livery on a -900 or -800? That is the one that will match 737 MAX we are receiving this year. The white/black bandit mask livery. I know its not a MAX model with the correct winglets, but will look cool for now.

I'm not new to this aircraft in FSX but have now moved over to P3D 4.3. Pretty much works as predicted. Lot to learn and re-learn but despite check list and tutorials I still get warning noise when I push throttles to take off. No sign of what is wrong but if I ignore it stops as I climb away. As far as I can see all the usual stuff is set and looks fine. Thereafter the flight continues as normal. Is there something obvious that I'm missing? Martin Madden Madair

I’ve scoured the forum for an answer to my burning inquiry, though the most pertinent and recent one is 2 years of age. My question: does braking action differ on a contaminated surface from that of a dry one in the NGX? I’m curious because FSL seems to have modeled it in their 32X series... Fsx fsuipc4 pmdg737ngx wl Hi, my name is Philip. I am on a project on building a b737 homecockpit, my plan is to have a keyboard as my overhead. So I need to program each induidual key to do something in the overhead. This takes decades to do. I have to first click key presses, then “set”, then a key on the keyboard, say “q”, I want q to be taxilight, so then I have to type in 69632 right, and then + the number that stands for taxilight. Say 1. So now I have to do some math (this is an easy one obviously but it can be harder, for example 69632+123, and that can take some time when you need to do this with like more than 30 keys.(unless you are a math genius…

Hi everyone, Is it my NGX issue, or everybody else does not see the small strakes over the nose from virtual cockpit view (dash cam view), they are visible in the outside view, but not anymore in the cockpit view. NGX version 1.20.8885 (latest) Thanks

Je suis à la recherche d'une texture AIR FRANCE pour le 737-800 et même pour les autres, je cherche mais sans succès. faudra peut-être que je mettre les mains dans la peinture, fut une époque ou je concevait mes texture mais c'était sous FSX, avec P3D du fait qu'il soit en 64 Bits j'imagine qu'il faille tout revoir. Hello I wonder, if there are new liveries for the 737NGX in P3D v4.xx already. I tried out the KLM livery for the 800W, which was originally made for FSX. Despite the fact, that both the aircraft.cfg entries of the house livery, and the KLM livery have exactly the same structure, and also the texture files of the KLM livery looks the same as the texture files of the house livery, the KLM livery doesn't show up in the vehicles list of P3D. Hello Everyone: I am re-writing this in an effort to be more clear about the problem I am experiencing. Taking off is normal with rotation at about 150kts. During the climb out the speed remains at about 165kts, and this is when I see the airspeed slowly dropping. It continues to drop until I level off, and then it remains constant at about 175kts at the most. I notice that the aircraft will not increase in speed even in level flight beyond 200kts. In fact, it struggles to get to 200. I cannot find any source of drag; spoilers are not engaged, flaps retracted, landing gear up, etc. I did not ever have this problem with the PMDG 737NGX in prior flights…

Has there been an update to the 737's for Prepared 4.3 and if so how do you get it?

Hello, I'm having a little problem. After I installed the PMDG 737 NGX on steam edition, it won't show the 737's with the winglets. But on the normal FSX, which I had, they did show the 737's with winglets. Can someone help me solve this problem? Laurens Jordense

Hello i have an annoyng problem; some flightplans are not present in the 737 fmc even though the folder where they should be exported is correct the strange thing is that I have this problem only with some flight plans when the simulation starts I can ask for the clearance I can communicate with the flight control after the request clearence i can not find the flight plan in the FMC so i have to quit the simulation because i dont have the route someone has encountered this problem? thanks

Would it be possible to add a visual affect when the HUD is stowed to cover it with its protective cover? For SWA at least whenever it is stowed it has to have the cover to protect the glass from the roof. Wonder if it would be possible to add.

Started a flight today and took off as normal, LNAV and VNAV worked perfectly, as did both FMCs. At 12000 feet every display went blank, except the backup altimeter and the FMCs. No idea why, everything was set up according to the checklist. Anyone have a fix?

Hi, i think this problem has something to do with the aircraft so let’s get right on point! I have the pmdg737-800 and fsuipc4 and fsxse, I want to make mouse macros because I want to make an overhead panel for my home cockpit. The thing that SHOULD happen is that I click on a switch on the overhead in fsx and then it pops up a green bar with text where you can type in the name of the switch and afterwards you can combine this function to a keyboard key (keyboard overhead) and you live happy ever after...... but that doesnt happen to me, this is what happens:. I click on create mouse macros and I just hover over the switch I want to program the green bar on the top appea…
