PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hello, I wondered if you could help with an issue with the PMDG 737 engine hydrolic pumps? Starting from cold and dark, I cannot get the low pressure warning light to go out and hence can't start the engines - this problem is new, as it never used to be the case. APU is running, fuel pumps are on, hyd pump switchs are on and left and right packs are off. Any advice would be much appreciated. With thanks Mark

Ive been loving this plane so far but I am finding it very hard to fly it well due to the crazy low frame rates I get in VC view. I usually get a stable 60fps when using default planes in fsx but I get an average of about 20fps in VC view for this plane and it sometimes drops to 10fps or lower when starting the planes engines etc. This only applies to the VC view as I get high framerates when on an outside view of the plane. I have my cockpit setting on a moderatly high setting and my PC specs are: GTX 970 GPU AMD FX-8320 8-core processor 8gb DDR3 ram Windows 7 OS Help would be much appreciated 😀

When using the SDK to control the 737NGX I experience strange behavior when controlling the MFD buttons such as EVT_MPM_MFD_ENG_BUTTON and EVT_MPM_MFD_SYS_BUTTON. When I send a control with parameter 1 the button gets pressed and the MFD changes, but when I send a parameter -1, the button is released but the function is activated again, resulting in another change in MFD. Hi all, I simulated an APU bleed inop event. So I connected the air starter, to get some air, via the fs actions menu and got no duct pressure. Config: PACKS both OFF, Isolation valve OPEN. Something I missed?

Is there a simple way to change the color of the 737 HUD display from the default green to something else? Thanks.

I did a flight and before cruise the plane starting acting weird and the auto fail light turned on and there's dashes on the pressurization panel. There is a horn going off also. I never had a problem like this before. I have failures turned off.

Hello I traded up to P3D v4 recently and purchased the NGX but I noticed that the nav lights seem overly bright/ too large. I'm not sure if it is supposed to be this way but in the screenshots of PMDG's website and in FSX, the nav lights were smaller, dimmer, and seemed much more realistic. If this is normal is there a way to reduce the size/brightness of the lights? I used the PMDG-737 for many years and never had a problem with the G/S not activating. VOR LOC activates,however I get no G/S indication anymore. I deleted the 737 and reinstalled it but had no success. Anybody can provide a hint as to what to do ? Much appreciated by Paul 12

So I've recently started noticing fuel increases happening in my #1 wing tank during flight, this causes imbalances and i have to try balance them again every flight. I have discovered, however, that when i use the preset fuel inputs such as 2/3 it doesn't happen. This is quite a head scratcher for me as this only happens when i input specific units manually such as 1.4 reserves in my wing tanks. The left wing tank will go up eventually to almost 2000 kg if i don't stop it. Any help? Note: not loading any panel states Thanks, Chris.

Hi All Hoping someone can help me out. I have just purchased and installed the PMDG 737 800 NGX Base Package. The Sim is P3D V4 1. After installation I checked the start menu for the Operations Centre and it doesn't exist? 2. When I start the sim with the 737 sat at a gate, after about a minute. it looks like the aircraft has suddenly sank into the floor, and from an out side view, an illustration of sparks are emerging from the engines the sim then resets it;s self back to the saved scenario. I have re downloaded the program, and re installed, but hasn't made any difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated Regards Tom …

Hello. Trying to understand what I'm missing here. KIDA arrival. Based on CDU heading to ZELOR fix is 134 dgr, but ND shows 105 dgr, it is about 30 dgrs difference. Thx

Dear all, I did the PMDG OPS Update for the 737 for V4 (v1.20.8885) - I loaded the 737 in my sim and all the screens were black. I reinstalled the 737 from the PMDG website and didn't install the update and everything was ok? P3D loads into the Scenario Startup Menu so no aircraft could load before selecting the PMDG 737. GOOD DAY TO ALL. DO THE 737NGX'S FAN BLADES WINDMILL ON THE RAMP (WHILST PARKED) AND, IF SO, UNDER WHAT WIND SPEED DOES THIS OCCUR? I ASK BECAUSE THE FSLA320'S ENGINES SEEM TO WINDMILL MORE OFTEN AND UNDER LESS WINDY CONDITIONS (YES - I UNDERSTAND THEY'RE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT AIRCRAFT).

Hi; I have just recently purchase and downloaded the PMDG 737NGX Base Package for Prepar3D (1861-44). When downloaded the Ops center works, able to download livery, shows up on screen, exterior sound it's audible, livery it's visible, however the whole cockpit it's totally inoperable. Panels are visible but not functioning and some controls are just slogan in it's place. Nothings works in the interior and noticed the usual green bar that appears while uploading the simulation it's not visible. Hey Guys, Just installed the NGX after a new computer build and I'm having some issues with the exterior lights. Kind of strange, everything is illuminating the ground as it is suppose to however I can't actually see the light effect itself. It's possible I am missing something in the P3D settings but everything lighting wise is the same as my old build. Can anyone help? Thanks, Sean Doyle

Hello, I have seen that some people have white numbers on the pedestal instead of orange like mine are... IS there a way to get these white numbers. I do not mean the mcp, but the pedestal and overhead panel. I have tried to change the colours in the colours.ini file, but it didn't work. Thanks all! Sam!

Hello all, I am trying to update the 737NGX for FSX:SE. I clicked download update in the operations manager, but when I reload the operations manager, the update is still showing available to download and it seems like it did not update. Please could someone help?! I have the NGX box edition, and the operations manager won't update the product and get ri of the update notification appearing in the notifications section. Please help! Hello, I use p3d v4, installed the sdk, but when I started the 737 I had a not working cockpit and some screens in the middle are missing. The planes and cockpit worked normal until now. The 747 II is working perfect it is only this type. Anyone any ideas? Thanks

Hi, 4 days ago I purchased a new computer and have only downloaded Microsoft Flight Simulator X Steam Edition and the PMDG 737NGX -800/900. Everything installed fine, I have two control yokes and all other aircraft fly fine on Flight Sim X. The PMDG 737's all start in flight, no response to controls except I can raise and lower the undercarriage and change my view. All the screens are blank and I can't move any switches. I have taken screenshots but cannot seem to upload them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Matthew

I have been using the PMDG 737NGX for a few months now without any difficulty however today it is asking me for the activation code. I copy and paste the code from the purchase email I got from PMDG and I get the following message "ERROR: Activation library handle creation failed - 50003, 71000, 10104" I have tried reinstall the product and still get the same message. I am running FSX Steam on Windows 10 (which I have also updated), I have also updated FSX Steam Any ideas? Many thanks MFord
