PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hello - I searched the forum but couldn't find an answer to this question: as far as I know, the PMDG 737 NGX does not model the FMC supplemental/temporary database (supposed to be accessible through INIT/REF INDEX -> NAV DATA -> REF NAV DATA. It's the last page that does not seem to exist). I recently flew a historic flight to an airport (SBCV) not in the standard databases, and realized I could not enter it as a temporary NAV item. Am I right that this capability is missing? Thanks! Marcel Durieux

Hi Everyone With Imaginesims imminent release of WSSS, I thought I would install a couple of topical repaints. I had some time during my FSX life a SilkAir B738 repaint but went looking today in the library and couldnt find it. Does anybody have a lead on a repaint in this model? I can't access the FCOM (both volumes), FCTM, or QRH from the Operations Center for my NGX. I can click on them, but the supposed links do not open any documents and nothing happens.

I try to program a rotary switch on my PFC Radiopanel for usa ase course selector and heading selector. This is with the use of FSUIPC and PMDG 737NGX I am unable to get it to turn anticlocwise. It turns ok clockwise. What do I have to do to get it to work both ways? I am trying to program the 2 GPS rotary and the alt preselect set Rotary on my PFC Radio panel. I want to use them as knobs for course selector and heading selector. I am programming via Buttons+Switches and using 70008 for the course and 70022 for heading but I am unable to get the rotary to turn anticlockwise. I cant find the correct parameter setting to do this. They turn ok clockwise.…

hey can any admin confirm if all 23 leg types that go into the navigation database are fully implemented in the NGX? for example, cf legs, rf legs, df legs, theres loads and I know they are getting less and less used even though majority of airports in Turkey still have it but still its good to have it implemented (if its not implemented) i know other aircraft devs started doing it, but i couldnt find any info regarding this if someone can confirm it for me it will be perfect, thank you bulent eroglu

Flying into KSEA using the ILS 16's I noticed no Autoland using one approach configuration? If the approach selection is Heading / VOR/LOC / APR I get a normal VOR/LOC G/S Rollout/Flare autoland (screenshot). If the approach selection is LNAV/APR I get a B/CRS G/P Single CH with no autoland (screenshot). Hello, A few more questions, if I may: 1. Why does the speed value on the MCP window go blank after takeoff? And how does one alter the value when that happens? 2. Related to #1, what are the purposes of the buttons labeled C/O and SPD INTV? 3. It seems that occasionally, the HDG button cannot be illuminated after pressing it. Also, there are times when I press it, and I get an illuminated indication on the PFD but the button remains extinguished. 4. I'm at work and I just saw these posts about PMDG reworking their license with Boeing to get manuals and my question is that did they disappear after an update or after people bought and installed the 737 for the first time? I have the base package, if I buy the expansion now would I be at risk of losing the manuals that came with the base, during installation of the expansion pack? -Angelo Busato

Hello, After going through the tutorial #1 several times, I've found a few things I'm having difficulty finding: 1. Where is the C/R (cancel/recall) MFD button located? 2. Where is the TRC button located? 3. Where is the bank limiter selector located? 4. Where is the brake pressure gauge located? 5. How does one determine OAT in the air? 6. TO PMDG I am a most happy user of your PMDG B737NGX. A few minor issues, however, seem to remain open (#2 and #3 about initialisation): 1- Airstair : at startup in Cold&Dark (C&D) conditions, extending the airstair requires turning the battery on. The airstair operation should be made independent of the battery (otherwise a ladder might be required to board the crew ! They have an external switch). 2- Sound management: at startup in C&D conditions, the cockpit is perfectly silent (long ago I pointed out a strong residual rumble and its cause, then corrected. I have tried to via fsuipc to set up some switches with the help of PMDG SP1D Cockpit builder edition. I have problems to program the APU START and Landing Light Gangbar. When using Event ID 69750 for the APU start I get it to engage down to the start position (fully down position) the low oil press light comes on and stay on but no start . If I use the mouse to force it in the start position it starts The same for the gangBar 69742 it operate the gangbar but it does not take the switches to down as it do when I use the Mouse Are you able to help me with the problems Henning Ringsvold

Hi guys, I have Rex4+textures and PMDG 737 so can I do the tutorial 1 and 2 in P3DV4 without using Active Sky and flightplanner(I can skip this part in the tutorial)?

I am going to dismiss P3D V3.4 and to install P3D 4.3 I have a step by step guide to uninstall P3D 3.4 Then I will unistall also AS16 and other add ons. But I am not sure about what to do with PMDG NGX. Ideally I would like to uninstall it and then, reinstalling it with a clean installation in the new P3D 4.3 Am I right? Thank you for your help. Good day, I just noticed something strange on my FMC progress page. It seems that while I was climbing all my numbers were oscillating all over the place my top of cruise was reading 875 nm to 35,000 feet. Is this normal behaviour? The 777 and 747 doesn’t do this on the progress page. I’m using P3D V 4.3 Windows 10 Thanks

Just purchased the 737 Base Pac for Prepr3dv4.3. Opened the Operations Center and installed some livery add-ons from the list. It showed them as being "Installed" but when I start Prepar3d the new liveries are not being listed, Just the default livery. Any suggestions on what I did wrong, or waht I need to do? This is just a general 'what in the heck happened' question. I checked AS and the QNH was reported correctly and I didn't see any terrain anomalies. I'm using ORBX FTX Global and FSDG's Paro scenery. The question is how did I end up to high on the approach? Everything looked like it was going well. I've attached the video. Skip to about the 4:50:50 mark in the video near the end if it doesn't start out there. Did I miss something? Thanks in advance.
