I would like to change my license from P3DV4 to FSX as my P3DV4 doesn't run well on my computer. Are there any fees?

Upgrade to W10, but had to wipe files/folders. On reinstall of PMDG/FSX SteamPMDG 'Missions' (?) aren't there: LOWI Approach, or Starting on Runway, for example. Doug Pelton

PMDG 737-800 W/L NGX flight plan will not load to FMC from flight plan folder - malfunction occurs listing input as an 'invalid entry' when trying to enter PFPX route! The same plan is also distributed to my 777L/F, 747-400F and passenger version and my 747-8i/F addons flightplan folders as well with no issues...they load! Also, I have no saved 'start up' configurations...only what was provided when I installed the aircraft. Hi all. Looking for some help on installing the 737-6/700 expansion. I just purchased the expansion although I purchased the 8/900 base pack a couple weeks ago. The base pack installed without a problem but the 6/700 expansion can't find the base pack. I have P3D v4 and have it installed on my D drive instead of the default location. In the read me, it says I may have to correct my computer registry to reflect the correct location and was looking for information on how to do that. Thanks. Vincent McIntyre

Hi All, During my PMDG practice, I have tries IRS FAULT non-normal checklist. In the checklist, one step let you try to get back IRS attitude and heading information but if you fly straight and level for 30 secs. After this delicate 30 seconds flying, failed side PFD attitude information is supposed to come back. I tried that with one of equipment failures which is called IRS L/R FAIL under the NAVIGATION folder in CDU. I've just completed my first (tutorial) flight. When setting up for a second I noticed the scratch pad area of the CDU was carrying a mssage NAV DATA OUT OF DATE (or similar). This message wasn't there on the first flight. How do I fix it, please. Anyone?

I changed the livery of this plane and when I load it, the plane jumps up and down the runway and flies off like possessed. Tried everything to get it back to when the plane behaved normal, meaning before I changed the livery, but nothing seems to work anymore. It keeps jumping up and down, it drives me nuts. I guess I am not the only one, so anyone has any suggestion to get this odd behavior under control? Thank you

I'm following the Tutorial #1 manual to the letter (I think). Everything looks as it should but as soon as I get past 'gear up' and the FD becomes live various things 'switch off'. Principally the #1CMD (autopilot) disengages, along with the auto thrust. Although sometimes the CMD will re-engage, the A/T will not. The a/c will not climb without getting into a stall, no matter what I do to the power levers (remember A/T has disengaged and CMD is supposedly inoperative). Any suggestions? I've just tried again, this time VNAV deselected itself and speed refused to rise above 145kts! LNAV did stay and the heading was followed. The manual says LNAV might not engage…

When PMDG 737 is activated with PREPAR 3 D, characters are not displayed in the HUD. It will not be displayed even if the controller is turned. Have you been able to resolve similar problems? japan toshi wata

Hi, I'm experiencing some lag when sending a lot of events using Simconnect to connect to PMDG 737NGX: EVT_MCP_ALTITUDE_SELECTOR The PMDG_NGX_Control structure is used to send the actual event: struct PMDG_NGX_Control { unsigned int Event; unsigned int Parameter; }; I'm calling the SimConnect_SetClientData function to set this structure with the appropriate event and paramenter. Once I receive SIMCONNECT_RECV_ID_CLIENT_DATA for the NGX structure, I check if Event variable has returned to 0. If it has, I will send the next event (if any). Hello, in my P3Dv4.3 is the sound option "Mute On Lost Focus" unticked, so i can hear all Flightsimulator Sounds when i change windows programs. But only the PMDG-internal Sounds did Mute when the Flightsim is not in Focus. In the PMDG-Sound Options is my windows-standard audio system set. Hi everyone, I need to use my keyboard, or a button on my throttle for reverse thrust because I only have a single throttle. I just realized, after all this time, that when I engage the thrust reverser on my keyboard, only the left one deploys. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to link both throttles to a single command. No wonder the a/c keeps pulling to the left when I roll out. Any ideas out there? Thanks, John

I just installed v4 of prepared, launched it and then tried to install the pmdg 737. When the popup menu came up I select modify, didn't work so I then tried repair and that also didn't work. I than remove the product from v3 and tried re-installing it. After the whole install processes I check the operations center and the game and it wasn't showing. I am not going to uninstall p3d v3 because I am still going to use sometimes. Please help!!!! Martin

I have had an engine failure of both engines (even with realism settings set so that engine stress will not cause engine damage) at approximate the same location in an approach that I cannot explain. It is a saved scenario flying the newly purchased PMDG 737 in P3D V4. I'm flying a modified RNVY 08 Approach into Orbx modelled LOWI (Innsbruck) airport. I modify the approach in the FMC by putting a holding pattern at ELMEM (as shown on the most current approach plates). I replicate the same hold pattern as shown on the plate (downwind bearing 149 deg with left turns). I'm stable at 220 knots, 13000 ft, no flaps, no gear. I'm showing 2250 lbs fuel remaining in the…

Hi I have recently switched to P3d v4 and I noticed that I see in VC mode the equipment is very blurred only when the view is at the default distance, while if I use the zoom back to see the textures in a good way I'm testing my laptop waiting for my new graphics card to arrive for my desktop computer

This is a normal turn after a take off and we can see this turn isn't being correctly auto-coodinated by the yaw damper (and, yes, yaw damper is on!)... So, what's the problem here with the yaw damper? Is this the normal behavior of a Boeing 737 or is this a bug in NGX or Prepar3d?

So, I'm new to the PMDG 737 and have been trying to follow the manual but have already hit a snag. In the manual to go from cold and dark it says to use the FMC and load the cold and dark state. I do so, and get the green initialization bar at the top of the screen, but the FMC doesn't come back. It stays blank and I can't use it afterwards. What could be wrong here? Thanks -- Alexander
