PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I'm still having trouble with random refusal of some functions - especially LNAV/VNAV - to engage. Occasionally there is 'NO V Speed' on the FA tape but I expect they are just me. However the one I'm pretty sure isn't me is that when I set the TRANSPONDER’S TCAS mode selector (centre console) and the squawk code (2200) there is no confirming audio message - which used to enunciate.

Members 1 9 posts Posted December 5 Hello, would it be possible for you to create software for the 737 ngx as well as for the 777 to have the Cpt ND, Cpt PFD, Cpt CDU, Cpt Clock, EICAS, MFD, Fo CDU, Fo Clock, Fo ND, Fo PFD, Overhead panel, MCP plus security screens on a remote computer. On my home cockpit when I activate the screens I have a loss in Fps on the outside view. When I look at the huge price of avionics known in the world of simulation, I tell myself that you have an opportunity to find a market Greetings. Dominique France

Recently I bought 737 NGX for P3Dv4 and installed with no error message. But when I load the plane into P3Dv4, there's nothing in HUD and no RAAS sound. I'm sure both setting for HUD and RAAS are on, but seem no function. The same RAAS problem is also showed in 777 (off course, 777 has no HUD) I installed earlier. Please advise where's something wrong, thank you.

Hello, is the aircraft 2d panel only avaiable for Capt only? is there way can i get 2D FO Panel? because my fps in vc is not that great and the view is much good in the 2D. Im using laptop and P3Dv4 by the way, Thanks Dray Langley

Hi there, I'm once again having a problem with activating reverse thrust in the NGX with my keyboard, and I don't know why. I've always been able to activate and increase reverse thrust with the 9 key for both engines, but over the past few weeks, most times it only activates the left engine. I've deactivated/reinstalled the NGX, which temporarily solved the problem, only to see it return. Then I thought the issue was associated with a panel state I saved, so I used another one, and that temporarily solved the problem, but it returned. This is a problem I have only with the NGX. Hello, It seems this new VR functionality of P3D v4.4 as described here https://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6312&t=131671 is not working properly with the 737 NGX, It works find when I use a default aircraft but with the 737 the window is empty and does not display any menu. Anyone with the same issue using the NGX ? This is another problem on top of the Light sensor window that can not be closed... Thanks

Hello, I had the PMDG 737 installed successfully on my Win7 64Bit under Prepar3d V.4.3. Everything was working flawlessy. Since I always wanted to test Win 10 I bought a second SSD and installed Win 10 64Bit on it. I also changed my graphics Card from a GTX 1060 to RTX 2070. Then I installed the PMDG 737 under the freshly downloaded Prepar3d V4.4. On first start I was asked to enter the activation code which I successfully did. The flight was loaded and everything(!) was working absolutely fine. After approx. 30-45 seconds the plane is however stopping to react to Joystick commands (e.g. ailerons, flaps, side rudder). I think I'm asking the question right (finally understand what I'm looking for 🙂 ) When I reinstalled PMDG, I no longer see the 8-or-10 Free Flight selections for PMDG, like LOWI Approach....Before Takeoff...Shutdown...etc. I wish I could be more precise, but can't find a documentation of this list. After a fresh 4.4 install and fresh download of the NGX I have no engine sounds. I can hear some brief start up sounds but that is it. All other sounds sound correct. I have tried one reinstall. All sound settings have been verified. All other PMDG birds are good. Has this issue been reported recently?

I have set up the 737 AND THE 777 as I have done for many of flight I took a break from simming so I might be missing something but I select lnav and vnav and the autopilot normally it climes around 1800 to 2200 quite smooth lately, it's climbing at 6000 plus anyone knows what's wrong or what am doing that am forgetting as far as I can see the FMC is filled in normal using pfpx export all other items are filled in temp wind weights speeds etc Wayne Runner

I know this will probably sound like a petty detail, but in looking at the FMC, I see the ZFW as 121.8, which, to my understanding, is incorrect. Am I correct in interpreting this as 121,800 lbs? If so, I believe that the 737-800 models H thru T and the X have a ZFW of 136,000 lbs and the U & Y have a ZFW of 138,300 lbs. Brian Nuss

If, say, it is required to descend 1000ft lower than the declared CRZ FL to FMC, then the page CRZ is not available any more, VNAV mode light goes out and MACH/SPEED mode has to be used to continue cruise on the lower FL. During this event, I noticed that Vertical deviation symbol shows on ND, which means the aircraft understands the start of descent. This level change is required in some airspaces like Spain. So, in that case, the availability of CRZ page is lost in the real thing too, or this is a glitch ? Thanks for your time, Sotiris Stavrakis.

Hi, sorry for my English. I'm trying to figure out what has happend with vert. profile after LI730 waypoint. Just before this waypoint vert. dev was 0 and just after vert. dev became 4722 and 738 has lost vert. path. Descend forecast was accurate. After LI730 I turned on V/S mode (-1500), descended to FL050 and aircraft captured ver. path again. I use FSX SP2 and PMDG 737-800NGX 1.20.8885. See screenshots: before and after.

Can I have a new license code

I am trying to update my service packs for the NGX,777 and I am not sure if there has been one for the 747 QTS II yet. On the website it only has service updates for the "legacy" aircraft.

Yesterday, I was curious and decided to try and install Solus OS alongside my Windows 10 install, but cancelled it when there appeared to be no progress, long story short, I’ve had a plethora of BSODs and just decided to throw in the towel and perform a clean install of Windows. My PMDG NGX license was tied to that install, and I had no way I’ve signing in to deactivate it from the PMDG section of the FMC. Is it possible to do a normal install of FSX:SE and the PMDG NGX with my license or not? I have a boxed copy so I’m not sure if that means it works differently, I do have my £50 license key, the install disks and my copy of FSX:SE. Thanks!

Hi All, Any ideas why the 2d Cockpit view is distorted? New purchase , reloaded aircraft a few times still the same. Virtual cockpit is ok.

I reinstalled FSX today, it seemed glitchy. When I go reactivate it it says it can't access the activation server. when I call the (Australia) free call number they give for phone activation, I find the number is dead. What's going on"

Hello. I think I having issues with the PMDG737 version. Ive installed the last version (at least it is the version that I download when I bought the product) but when I check the version on the FMC it says 1.1. When I accually download 1.2. Thank you for supporting me

The N737NG has a great HUD. Is there any way to incorporate the IR view available in P3Dv4.x into the HUD to get an Enhanced Flight Vision System display? Many of the BBJ versions have a HUD with an IR EFVS. This would be a great addtion to the NGX given P3D's inherent IR display capabilities. Thanks, Rich Boll

Just upgraded from W7 to W10. Used PMDG Installer for my 737-800 base package (Also have installed FSUIPC) and extracted file into a C:\ folder---not FSX. Hello, I purchased 737NGX for P3d V4. in August. I just went back to OPS Center and when I select this product it offers for me to buy it. There are no links to documentation or livery installers etc. Same actually for my FSX version. All that was there before. What is wrong? Greg

Hello folks, I've been noticing that occasionally, when I'm flying an approach like an ILS, that sometimes, when I disengage the autopilot, the REF speeds disappear and the Flight Director goes away. I can re-engage the FD by hitting the approach button on the MCP, but I have to remember what the original REF speeds were. Is this a bug with the PMDG 737 or does it reflect something real in the actual airplane? Thanks, Brian Nuss
