I have tried a new downlods several times and get CRC fault every time. I have a 300 Mb fiber connection so that should not be the problem. What to do??? HenningR

I'm a PMDG NGX fan and for years have been watching people requesting slit scimitars and seeing PMDG developers saying they won't add them because PMDG prides itself in accurate modeling and it would go against philosophy to do a cosmetic update. I've always thought I can live with that, I probably wouldn't have noticed a flight characteristic change anyway, and I'm never outside the plane other then for the walk around (in all my workarounds I've never found anything wrong... imagine that! I don't use FSUIPC. I want to assign a button on one of my FSX-SE driven controllers to operate the reversers on my PMDG737. I can't find a standard 'event' in the settings list to do this; is there one, or any other way please, anyone? Thanks Andrew

hello, i am wondering if it would be possible to modify the panel.cfg file so I get the chronometer and standby instruments on separate windows so I can undock them seperately and drag them to different screens?

Are there any short cut keys for the EFIS? Such as selecting range or vor/map modes? Or enabling/disabling WPT, ARPT and DATA buttons? I'm also trying to assign keys to tune the Nav radios but the default settings in FSX don't seem to work to select/tune the Nav radios. Thanks...

Hello happy pmdg NGX flysimmer, I can't get the WXR working . I have ASP4+pmdg 737NGX for P3D4 and I try to find if the issue is with ASP4+ ASConnect or with pmdg. I fly in heavy storm without any display on the ND. On the NGX, when I proceed to test the radar ( pushing the Test button) I don't see the 3 colors test scan on the ND. Is it because of a bad communication with ASP4 or do I miss something in the pmdg setting? Thanks in advance for ay advices. Peterandrew

Guys pls apologize my stupid Q but I'm new to P3D... I'm too damn stupid to be able to find how to load the Tutorial flight scenarios in P3D v4. I know with FSX I needed to move the files to another directory under my Documents but I'm unable to do the same in V4. It seems that the files have different extensions then those of P3D. I'm expecting the visit of a friend who is eager to test V4 with the NGX on my PC.

Hi Having just re-installed Windows 10 and moved over to a clean install of P3D v4.4, I was setting up commands on my PMDG aircraft (B737, B777 and B747) and realised that the "rudder trim center" and "aileron trim center" keys I had defined do not seem to work on any of these aircraft. These commands do seem to be functional on, for example, the P3D Lockheed C69A, so I know that they do work on some other aircraft. Are these commands just not implemented on the PMDG aircraft, or is there a problem with my installation? Regards Keith

Hello comunity, I have a question. If for example, the ATC gives clearance of no speed restriction below FL100, what is the optimum climb speed? If in normal conditions I would accelerate above 250KT after passing FL100, if I receive this "free speed" let's say at 3000ft, should I accelerate to climb speed even at this lower altitude? I am curious not about speed, because it seems that it would be a faster trip if accelerating below FL100, but regarding efficiency. Thank you.

Hello community, I have a question. Let's say you want to simulate a malfunctions of the flaps, and you will need to land with the flaps retracted. How can I calculate my Vapproach speed? In the FMC we have the options for the regular configuations, 15, 30 and 40. Thank you.

When the NGX is passing a waypoint which is programmed in the FMC , there is a beeping sound. I had this never before. I am flying with P3D v4. What can I do to stop the beeping sound passing a waypoint ? With kind regards , Remelco

Firstly, congratulations on producing such a great aircraft. Hard to find fault and no regrets whatsoever at my purchase. Couple of questions... 1) There is a warning on the FMC when de-icing is on when TAT is > 10C but no warning when it's off below 10C. Is that by design? That seems more critical than leaving it on when not required. 2) In PMDG - Options - Performance higher fps can be entered. I have changed PFD, ND and EFIS on the VC to 35 but it doesn't seem to have made any difference. Is it limited at 25?

Hello I have recently installed PMDG 737 NGX in P3D v4.4. I have encountered many problems First, when I execute Operation manager in administrator mode , I get version 1.10.6461 instead of 1.20.8885? Then update does not work. I always keep v 6461? Second, when I click on the PFD, no increase size + Last, the ILS capture is very unstable, the plane is moving right and left towards the glide and the autoland is lateral to the runway? Hi All I'm using the PMDG 737 800NGX in P3DV4 and I can't for the life of me get the HUD display (Combiner) bright enough for me to use. I can see it, but playing with the brightness control on the overhead unit has no effect. Any ideas please? I have done a search and nothing useful came up. It looks set up on the Radio Panel, and I can change information and display, it's just not bright enough!?

When I installed the B737-800 I did not get the livery manager to also install. Is there anywhere I can go to install just the livery manager wizard? Thank you Simon

Hello, I've just installed the PMDG 737 NGX Version 1.10 (SP1d included) on FSX:SE. I can completely fly with the aircraft and use the FCM and all the lights and sounds work as they should but the all the numbers of the important displays aren't showing. How can I resolve that?

Hello, ive been experiencing fps drop/freezed like 1 second while takeoff roll after engaging TOGA. Also when vspeed reached V1, the freeze occur again. Whats the problem? My spec: i7 4750HQ 3.2ghz GTX980M 4GB 16GB RAM Using FS2CREW Reboot latest version, NGX , Active Sky P4D. Dray Langley

Hello, the OP shows me 1.20.8389 as the current version and 1.20.8885 as the newest version. I tried the update several times, but it does not work. At least OP still is showing 1.20.8389 as the current version. Is there a fix for this? Regards Arndt Laube

I have an Opencockpits 737 pedal that has differential brake capability - left and right toe brakes. a couple of days ago, and for no apparent reason that I can determine, the toe brake function stopped working. I had a spare button on which I assigned BRAKES and when pressed, that does brake a moving aircraft. I use FSUIPC5 for al the button and axes calibration (I have disabled the controllers in P3D) and have tried several times to calibrate the toe brakes again and each time without any effect. The value boxes in FSUIPC do show changes as I press the toe brakes so the controller is working and the connections are also working but in the sim itself, the aircraft doe…
