PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I registered at PMDG Simulation . However I cannot open a new topic in their forum ! What is the possible reason ? Thanks Paul12

Beste simmers, Sinds kort heb ik een CPFlight MCP 737-800EL panel en EFIS aangeschaft en die werkte altijd prima. Toen ik merkte dat er bij de PMDG Operation Manager een melding stond voor een update van de PMDG voor prepar3D versie 3 en 4 heb ik die update gedownload en geïnstalleerd. Na de update Prepar opgestart en de PMDG Boeing 737-800 geselecteerd. Als ik bij de Add-ons de CPFlight activeer, merk ik dat de backlight van het panel het niet meer doet. Alleen de getallen branden maar de knoppen met de groene lampjes en en achtergrond verlichting niet meer. Ik heb in de handleiding gezocht en er zit in het MCP ook een menu. PDG-737,parked on rwy 05 at Geneva airport (LSGG ) I then do the following: In CDU press DEP/ARR On LSK-6R I enter LSMP ( Payern airport ) Result: Stars Approaches Fri1B ILS05 Fri3N ILS23 Fri4A Loc05 Loc23 RNVZ23 Question: how to enter the STAR and APPROACHES into the flight plan ? What it the purpose of this ? I used to be able to have them entered automatically into the flight plan. Can anybody elaborate ? Thank you Paul 12

Hi, How do I know what takeoff mode I should use? Is it in a simbreif flight sim, like if I should use CLB-1 or CLB-2? Or is it something I can calculate. Thanks, Ollie.

Hi All, appreciate if anyone can help. I removed 737 ngx and installed the new 737 ngxu and all ok. I am trying to install some repaints of NGX ptp liveries but keep getting error liveries failed to install. is there a way I can install the repaints or how can I open the ptp files to edit it. many thanks and best regards to all

Hi chaps. I use the PMDG with FSX Steam and my Saitek X52 throttle and my CH yoke. But something I've noticed in the recent 3 or 4 flights, when I power up to break away to commence taxi, and throttle back with the Saitek, it doesn't come all the way back on the sim. I know of a problem if my throttle on my yoke isn't all the way back it affects it due to conflict, but that's not a problem as I've disabled the throttle on my CH yoke and made it redundant. Has anyone any ideas on how to solve this? Regards Ian Livesey

In external view engine sounds literally like vacuum cleaner... Previous 737 is much more better than this cleaner. Sounds are really word not allowed... installed twice ( fresh ) nothing changed 😞

I have some questions about the new EFB that is included. I don't own or fly any other PMDG aircraft with the EFB. 1. Are the PMDG checklists available through the new EFB in the cockpit? 2. If they are, are they viewed by zooming into the EFB in it's permanent position in the cockpit and then moving your viewpoint to accomplish the task? Are the checklist items readable on the EFB in a view position that would allow to accomplish the item, or does one have to mo…

Hi Guys,I am finally at the end of my knowledge.I am doing flight sim for over 10 years now, although I had a break the last year. I now just started again and I have the following problem:I always get this horn warning sound on final with the 737 ngx. I am not able to figure out what the problem is. Good morning, I opened the Op Center...selected the product NGX.....selected livery downloader....selected KLM 738 livery and download....I got the message INSTALLED! But I cannnot see it in P3D V4.5....and I cannot see it in the livery manager What am I missing? Thank you Stefano

Hi everyone, sorry if this topic has been talked about before. I am flying PMDG 737-800 NGX WL in P3D V3, and I find it wrong to have super low aoa while landing. Although I set the speed to that the system suggested me on my PFD with flaps 5, the pitching somehow lowered to like 5 degrees. (as shown in the picture) This situation started to occur some day. I didn't have this issue before so I am really confused with it. The CG is okey which I have checked. I always use the inbuilt PMDG FMC to change my fuel and loading, I am not sure whether it is the problem. Hi fellow Captns - How do you mute the sound of the ILS markers ? At some airports, immediately after liftoff, the sound of the markers (esp the highest pitched IM) is super annoying since it is so loud. I like loud engine sounds on takeoff so I 'turn it up to 10' but at KSEA as example, takeoff from 34L results in the IM blaring and it is shockingly loud. This is on P3D 4.5 in the NGX800. Hi, after a few years I came back to fly my FSX again. Now I saw that there are several updates for the 737 NGX. Where can I see, which Version I have installed? In the Oper.-Center I noticed that there is an update with the endnumber 1.20.8885 for my planes. How can I install These updates correctly? I tried with the OPCenter, but it doesn´t work. After a complete formatting of my PC and later reinstalling of Windows 10, i reinstalled Prepar3D v4.5 (the last version) in a new partition without any problem. Hi all, I need help about radio frequencies which are decimals numbers. I can't set decimal 3, 4 or 6. For example in IVAO an atc give service on 121.73 freq and I wan't to connect this freq but my pmdg comm skip 1, 3 or 4. I mean after 121.72 jump to 121.75 not 121.73 or 74. Is there any idea where am I wrong.

Hello. I use chaseplane but I've noticed that if I am in Static mod (for plane spotting) I can hear my own plane when it's e.g. at EHAM at Gate D24 and I am with the static mode on Runway 36R to see the planes coming in, I've looked in the settings of the CDU but nothing, only that I can adjust the settings. Or if the plane is 30 miles away from the runway and I am in spotting/static mode at the runway, I can still hear the plane. How can I fix this
