PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hello. I got a problem yesterday when I updated to P3D v3, so I reinstalled Windows and deleted all files. Today I installed P3D v3 and PMDG 737 NGX, but all the gauges is black and cant be touched. I will add a printscreen of the virtual cockpit and the black FMC.

Can anyone explain to me the differece between this 2. Is it preferable to "upgrade" to NGXu HenningR

Whenever I press the ET button to set the flight time, it misses. For example, the flight took 1 hour, but it only takes 40 minutes. How to solve?

Hi! I´m using the PMDG NGXu and when I try to engage the Autothrottle, it engages for around 3 seconds, then it disengages. It is not a command conflict ( as I can see in the P3D menu) and there are not any failures active. Anyone who knows a fix for this probem? Wilhelm

Hello, I would like to make some repaints for the NGXu but am confused on how to use the paint kit. I'm still a noob when it comes to using Photoshop but have been able to create some simple liveries for the previous 737 as well as the 747V3. The part I'm confused about is how to use the metallic files when making my repaint. From what it looks like you paint the master file as normal and then copy the textures from each section of the fuselage to the correct fuselage file, but do you just copy it again to the metallic file or is there more to it? Also there is the regular master file for the fuselage and then the metallic version so don't know what purpose of the metalli…

I have home built a 737 overhead panel with just switches and knobs using 2x leo bodnar bbi32 cards, using fsx and registered fsuipc I can assign most of the switches from the dropdown list and they work fine with the fsx 737 base game aircraft but I want the panel to work with a pmdg 737ng . How do I do this via a dropdown list as I am not very good understanding SDK stuff. I have heard that fs linda can be used could anyone help with step by step instructions and example screenshots starting with no smoking and seatbelt switches for pmdg 737 Paul

I Got back to flight sims after a while and wanted to purchase a 737 NGX for FSX but I cannot find it in any online store. There are product categories for this model but the product itself is always unavailable. What is the reason? Will it ever be available? From where can I get working PMDG 737 for FSX?

So I’m not really sure if this is me or the sim. After using Airbuses for long enough I decided to dabble in the PMDG for a bit. Set up a really non detailed flightplan, with a little bit of guessing here and there and went flying(aka I didn’t know the cg so I plugged a random number in so I could get v-speeds and low fuel reserves plugged in). Sometimes I like to do dirty zero prep flights just to make sure I can at least use the airplane on a basic level, and won’t be wasting time later figuring it out with GSX and ATC and trying to do everything by the book. Hi ! I installed 737 NGXu base package and this problem happen. I uninstalled many times, but this problem happen everytime. I can´t get in the cockpit and when I put the spot view, the tyres don´t appears. My p3d version is 4.5.13.32097. Someone know what I need to do ? Thank´s !

Hello all, I'm new to this wonderful world of the PMDG 737. I'm using the (the now) old 737-800 with FSUIPC 5. The problem I'm having is that in a short route (SBSP - SBCT) when at the cruise altitude the PFD suddenly freezes, with speed and altitude not updating on the PFD. The MCP commnads become unresponsive. But the sim continues the flight and the NAV display updates. It stays this ways for some minutes, after that, everything goes crazy: the AP disengages, the airplanes is way out of route, I find myself at an altitude way below the one before... After this "UFO Lost Time" event, the PFD updates normally and I can command the MCP. …

I just installed the NGXu and am using it in Native VR P3D4.5HF2. I can get the FMC panel to pop up as a window but I can't click any of the buttons on it. It pops up front and center on what appears to be the other side of the wind screen. Is this a result of the windscreen having that raindrop technology? or something else. Hi! I have a serious problem with my 737NGX - P3D version. I use it together with FS2Crew and simserver but otherwise vanilla P3D v3 Sometimes (not always) when i choose gear up or gear down the aircraft freezes (displays, control surfaces, gear). When this happen in gear up one way to fix it is to click the left PFD to get it as a separate window, the aircraft then suddenly returns to normal. When gear down that does not help but sometimes it has helped to do the same with the FOs right PFD. Is this something known and/or how do I fix it permanently?

Hi, I presently have the regular NGX. I fly exclusively in VR. One of the things that interests me about the refresh is the EFB. The description says that it works with Navigraph, but does the EFB incorporate generic airport charts and approach plates based on the data base information in P3D (i.e. will it generate a generic approach chart in the EFB based on P3D information or is a Navigrah subscription required to take advantage of that feature?) Just recently tne nav radios are not receiving VOR stations. They do receive the ILS frequencies. This applies to both Captains and 1st Officers radios. I can't seem to work out what has happened to cause this. Everything else in the cockpit works normally. Bob Palmer

I set the last waypoint on final as the RTA waypoint with the time set to 1 min prior to my scheduled arrival. The flight started off perfectly and the RTA progress screen was showing everything running according to the schedule in my flight plan. I reached my cruise altitude and it seems like everything started gradually deteriorating. As soon as I crossed my 1st cruise level waypoint I saw a "VNAV disconnect" message on the FMS. I re-engaged it. Second waypoint, same situation. This repeated until I started my descent. Hello, so I am in the process of trying to add Area 51 to the FMC and ND of the NGX using the guide I posted below starting on page 10. So far I have have been able to get it setup so I can at least enter the airport as the destination on the RTE page of the FMC but it doesn't have any info on the runways and the only way to get it to come up on the ND is to enter the airport into the LEGS page of the FMC. If I just add it to the RTE page then it doesn't show up on the ND like other airports. I figure I probably need to add the runways to the apt_rwy.dat file but not sure which format I need to enter it. When I look inside I see the info for each airport such as the runw…
