PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hello, Can we expect PMDG to update some of the AFDS logics in the NGX before a new full release comes out? Particularly I mean the way the real 737 now stays in VNAV PTH always during descent, unless the pilot pushes speed intervent to open the speed window to engage VNAV SPD. In the real 737, if you stay high and then you engage VNAV, AFDS will activate VNAV PATH and the airplane will just dive with no respect for speed. VNAV PATH does not care about speed when trying to get back on path. It's supposed to not exceed MMO or VMO, but it often does and you can easily hear the clacker. Hi everybody. My name y Patricio, i'm new in this forum. I have a few problems customising or "programing" my own data in to the FMC database. First of all; it's possible to write an APPROACH with RADIUS TO FIX? How? (i have the coordenates of the center of that radius) 2) I can't see my new "approaches" in the FMC or RWY changes that i made (elevation for example). I already wrote the .txt file and saved in the "PMDG/SIDSTARS" folder. And also made changes the AIPORT.DAT to correct the aiport elevation, but still doesn't work. Thanks! Patricio

Hi, When I disconnect the autopilot or auto throttle, an alarm sounds as it should. However, it doesn’t stop until I physically click the alarm button. How do I stop it otherwise?

I've done 4 flights of which I tried many solutions people have answered in posts where none worked, obviously. I made sure to check that; The FMC sound section has my headset selected, The P3D sound setting has my headset also selected, and Made sure the Altitude callouts in the FMC was on including the individual altitudes that I wanted it to sound on. I'm able to hear my minimums, but not my callouts. (100ft, 50ft, 40ft, 30ft, 10ft)

Is there a way to quickly set a fix circle from the aircraft’s current position? Like a shortcut to copying the coords at that moment, and setting it as a custom fix location from which to display a range circle?

Hi All, I have tried engine failure below alert height with pmdg 737Ng and prepar3d. It is supposed to continue the approach and land safely for fail operational 737NG s. However the sim disconnected the autopilot and behaved like fail passive. I have checked the aircraft equipment settings on CDU and it was configured as fail operational. Have you ever tried the same ? This may be another development opportunity for pmdg 737 team. King regards Kerim Kurtulmuş

Hi, I am a 100% beginner, may I ask you a question: After I click on end flight when flying PMDG 737 NGX, the FSX doesn't go to the main screen, instead it restarts itself. Is this normal? Or sth wrong with the program...Should I use Ctrl + C to exit the whole FSX instead of ending flight? Plz help me, thank you very much.

Hello, I just updated to 4.5, the client only. Afterwards, I am getting black exterior textures for all 737 variants and liveries, even the house. When going to exterior view the correct textures load for a moment, and then the plane just turns black. Also, black textures when selecting the aircraft. All other aircrafts work, including PMDG 747. I did try removing and re-installing some of the liveries with the Operations Center. Also, all interior textures are just fine. Anyone else experience this or have a suggestion?

When doing an autoflight ( PMDG-737 ) I get message RESET MCP ALTITUDE. I do this but prior to landing ( about 10 nm before the rwy ) I get the same message again ! Question: what should I do ? What is the reason for getting this second message. ? Usually I just ignore the message and the landing is ok. But to me it does not feel right ! Thank you Paul 12

I was practicing some DME arcs, flying manually without any flight plan in the FMC, only the same departure and arrival airports and a SID were entered. After flying manually close to the airport, I entered an arrival runway and then entered and an ILS approach. I set the heading to intercept the first waypoint for the approach but even when I was on the path I couldn't engage LNAV. Am I missing something?

Hey guys, before I start, I want to say that I have submitted 2 tickets to PMDG already with no help. So, I thought I'd bring my issue here! I get my route - I input the route into the FMC (Manually) - Activate & execute it - When I click on my legs page & hit Next Page, my game just crashes to desktop. No error messages, no freezing, just an instant crash. I've tried this with multiple routes and have found that it doesn't happen all that often (sometimes) if the route is decently short. I ordered the PMDG 737 disk on amazon a while back. The operations center says I need to update it and that there is one available. I click download update and after that I get lost. I do not know how to install the update. Please help!! Thanks in advance fc

I have been using the NGS for quite a while now and for some reason it will not intercept the GS. It blows right through but localizer is fine.

Hello Simmers! A few days ago, I purchased PMDG 737NGX for P3D and I'm really enjoy with it. :) And I'm now using the P3D V4.5. Everything is fine but when I load my PMDG 737-900 (no winglets version) with the cold and dark panel state, there was ground reflection of RED navigation light even though I didn't turned on my NAV light in my cockpit. There was no red nav light itself, but there was only the reflection of it. Maybe the dynamic light of NGX is malfunctioning.. (Someone can say that this is just a tiny problem so I can ignore it. Every time I depart, i get a white screen, then not responding for maybe 30 to 45 seconds, then resumes. I am running FS2Crew, AS16, vPilot, runway bumping effect, and 3D real cockpit effect. I have tired to resinstall using "Repair" to no avail. It used to work fine with all the add-on apps running. It appears CPU is running about 50% and memory approx 80% Any ideas?

Has someone combined FSPassengers with the PMDG 737-800? It turns out that last night, flying from São Paulo to Fortaleza, Brazil, at 50mn to take off and an FL250, FSPassenger generated a general failure of the electrical system, (I must say very well represented in this complex plane) And made a cascade effect ... First I ran out of radios of any kind, then within minutes the FMS fell. Then the MCP began to behave erratically, half of the lights did not work and the hydraulics also erratic. Hi, I'm busy writing an application in Visual C# 2010 to interface with the 737 NGX CDU's via the SDK. So far I'm able to control the key press events on both CDU's and I'm able to catch all the events returned from P3D when the data on the CDU has changed. I'm struggling with marshalling the PMDG_NGX_CDU_Cell and PMDG_NGX_CDU_Screen structs to managed code in C# to be able to read the CDU screen data. The PMDG_NGX_Control struct was straight forward to marshal. A.t.m. i try to rebuild the RudderTrim Display (Lower Pedestal) Basicly i have done all stuff till now via FSUIPC Offsets ( Whatever Standard Range or the PMDG Table ) At the Rudder Trim i get a Problem. Looks like the Information there is not supported. BUT i see that CP-FLIGHT sells a Premade Panel taht is compatible to PMDG ( And other AddOns) So the needed Data "should" be somewhere.
