PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

  1. I have a 737NGX license for FSX. I did an upgrade of hardware tosimulate. How do I reactivate my license in this new IP? It is possible to reset my license, for activation on another PC? Thank you

    Hello! I recently made the jump from FSX to P3D and bought the NGX (again, LOL). Are you guys flying the -900 much? If so, do you have any rules of thumb for setting assumed temperature for derated takeoffs? I have TOPCAT...any way to use that (ie extrapolate downward from 737-800 results or something?). Also, I recognize that the 900ER has greater capability due to higher weights and more exits, but otherwise the 900 flies like a 900ER (assuming the short field package option is selected), right? I'm not obsessed with 100% fidelity with the 900 model, just looking to fly it like a 900ER on shorter routes with some degree of realism. Welcome your thoug…

    Because I can't edit the OP of my other topic anymore, I'd thought it would be a good idea to post a new topic for the new (3rd) version of my pdf.     Hi guys I just bought an external CDU for my cockpit, using a hagstorm keyboard emu with VGA, There is a built in VGA screen on the device, I've found all the offsets for the keys / buttons, whats my options for getting the screen to display? Is there a program I can use, or is it simple undock the PMDG cdu and resize?

    Hello, I wanna start off by noting that i know to push the aircraft back in the opposite direction of the “facing ....” instruction, so i of course would be facing that direction. I fly the PMDG 737-800 in FSX:SE, and up until now when commencing I’ve only heard ATC instruct either “pushback approved facing east” or “pushback approved facing west”, so since I’ve only heard those two I thought it just meant pushback facing your right or your left, but I’m beginning to have second thought.     Hi all Whilst air NZ does not fly 737NG and is phasing out the last few 737-300 in the fleet, I had a thought yesterday that I was tired of flying around my old classic colour scheme 737-700 made to look like a -300, and created this, if anyone else is interested I may look at releasing this (a -900W) as well as maybe doing a 700 and or 800. I pretty much only fly online these days and decided it was time for a change! - in Aircraft type and colours.

    So in a nutshell in full LNAV/VNAV mode on scheduled descent still 4 legs away from slowing to approach speed (scheduled on FMC is 240 - 200 - 173 - 147 - 138) and it has already slowed to 138...???? IAS/MACH MCP is blank as usual. Did something to force the aircraft to slow? What did I do? 🙂

MSG - PMDG DEBUG "Warning: the PMDG product was unable to create its work files.   10. I am assigning commands for the 737 to my GoFlight units to minimise the need to use the mouse. I program them using the SDK via FSUIPC5.ini. With battery, standby power and emergency power all off and no GND power the battery light on the GoFlight unit should be off. But it stays on. The switch is programmed via the GoFlight software to battery but with all systems off I don’t understand why the light stays on. Have I overlooked a system which is still providing power? There is a command in P3D for master battery on/off but despite assigning a keyboard command to that the light still stays on. I’m baffled.

    Hi guys, there are RNAV procedures where there are fly-by and fly-over waypoints., Looking at the charts for SKBO, the arrival TOLIM2E the waypoints are fly-by, when I do that procedure and I load it in the FMC of the 737 PMDG the waypoint NOR05 does fly-over. Is it an airac error?

  14. Hi all, I have a full sized 737 cockpit running p3d v4.4. I'm currently using the default 737 from FSX but would like a more realistic model. However I not sure which supplier to go with. The PMDG is a faithful reproduction of the real thing but the published FSUIPC offsets appear to be read-only. Does that mean I can't use it in my cockpit as I don't have any on-screen panels open, just the exterior view? I don't need to control the FMC as I have my own software to do that - I'm more interested in the electrics/fuel/hydraulics etc. Is the plane fully flyable without opening any panels, just so long as I use FSUIPC offsets?     On several occasions after shutting the aircraft down, it sounds like the engine are still running. Sometimes it even sounds like reverse thrust is still engaged even though all visual indications say that the engines are off. The sound is very apparent when using external views. I know the sounds aren't coming from AI traffic because the PMDG sound is very distinct and it isn't the APU because I've been leaving it off lately. Any thoughts? Thanks Brady

If I buy the base package (boxed) via aerosoft and decide to get myself the expansion package (download) thereafter via precisionmanuals.com sometime in the future, are there any known problems, if both products are not bought from the same online shop? 2.)     Hi, I have P3DV4.4 and the latest 737 NGX /777 /747 PMDG Updates installed. FSUPIC is Version 5.15 I deleted all key commands in P3D and PMDG and set only a few Buttons on my joystick. The Parking Brake is set on the Hotas Cougar Joystick Button 4. When I pull the parking brake, it jumps back after 3 or 4 sec, even when I pull it with the mouse in the 3D Cockpit. It happens in all these snenarios: GPW on APU on Elec HYD ON ENG ON In a P3DV4 airplane like Mooney Bravo the Parking brake stays .... Any Idea what could be the reason? Thanks Erik

    Although I’ve only had the PMDG737 a couple of weeks I am familiar with how VNAV works. If I enter an altitude restriction for a waypoint 3 steps ahead I would have expected the aircraft to reach that altitude on reaching that waypoint. But it doesn’t. Descent is consistently too shallow and the small display on the right of the ND shows me how much higher I am than I should be. I pull the throttles back close to idle but not all the way. Is that the problem? We’re talking several hundred feet difference so something is amiss. Any help appreciated.

    Hi my name is Emil Nilsson. I have the PMDG 737 NGX for P3D v4. I haven't used it in a couple of weeks but when I tried it today all the screens were blacked out and nothing was clickable. After some googling it seems like it has been de-activated. I've tried re-installing, deleting the PMDG Operations Center and the PMDG folder in the P3D root, running the Simconnect files and set FlexNet to manual. None of this works. There is no activation box popping up when starting the sim or loading the aircraft and thereby there is no way for me to enter my serial code. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Can anyone tell me what is wrong with the colors of the virtual cockpit in all my 737NGX in P3D V4,4. It is almost white or colorless without any conjunctures. I have re-downloaded and re-installed two times now, but get the same result. The strange thing is, that the Poseidon, which use the same cockpit, is totally normal. I would have liked to upload a picture of the missing colors, bur I don't have a clue about how to do that. Thank you in advance Bjarne

    Dear people, I do not know why, but my pmdg 737 is barely moving... When I am taxing it goes so slow. I give like 60% thrust and it's still almost not moving forward. So also when I want to start taxi it cost a lot of time before the plane finally moves. Anyone who is familiar with this problem and can help me? Is this problem caused by the settings of FSX or is it a technical issue due to the aircraft? I really want to know how to fix it Greetings Max
