Whenever I am using the GSX to modify the gate as soon as I select modify the aircraft slews far away. It does not do this with any other aircraft. Also, the front door is no longer recognized by GSX when wanting to deplane. It only unloads from the rear door if I have the stairs enabled. This happens at every airport. GRouner

Hi, I recently installed the 737 ngx from PMDG and as soon as I selected the aircraft and loaded in with the default flight settings of weather, time, and airport, all I see after I press the start flight button is a black screen with my mouse cursor. No other windows of incorrect license or anything. Just a blank, boring screen. All my other aircraft work perfectly fine and I have done a complete uninstall and reinstall with the aircraft and nothing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi I am getting strange colours on the centre post in Cockpit view, (its ok when I choose Virtual Cockpit view), when I look out of the Captain window (using 'HAT' key) and returning the centre post changes colour 'Green, bright Green, Blue, Red etc mainly near the 'wet compass.. Hi guys, Just got my PMDG 737 NGX for Christmas, I installed it this morning everything seemed to download normally but it was when I went on to click on the aircraft and when it was loading it said " Initialization of licence library failed". Can anyone help me if you could it would be great because I have looked the Internet all day and I have found stuff but it just did not work for example clicking on the Flex net in services, there none on my computer.

Does anyone know which font type is used in the CDU/FMC screen of the PMDG B737 NGX? The reason for asking is that I am making an app that includes a function for displaying the CDU screen on a hardware device by using the SDK, and I want the screen on the hardware device to look the same as in the virtual CDU screen.

Pause at top of descent after restarting the flight doesn't seem to work. I intentionally created an approach, a T/D is there but still it doesn't pause. Under normal conditions it always work. Mats Sederholm

Greetings everyone, I'm still getting sporadic CTD's when I change views through chaseplane on the NGX. The sounds often seem like they have trouble changing and then half of them drop off before the sim freezes and then shuts down. If I hit the Q key a couple of times, sometimes it works, sometimes it crashes after that too. I've had this problem on and off since v3, and now I'm on 4.4 with a completely different system than I had a couple of years ago. I still have no idea what causes it. Chaseplane is convinced that it's nothing on their end, so I'm hoping someone in here may have a solution. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason when it crashes. May…

Hi there, I'm thinking of getting the PMDG 737 base package. I have no sim yet and it appears the PMDG 737 is available for both MS FS and Lockheed's Prepar3D. My preference is for the Prepar3D version. I would appreciate if anyone who has experience with this combination would care to tell me if there are any * problems * caveats * pitfalls e.t.c....anything to look out for? Hello, I often fly in the dark and always use cold and dark panel but in the evenings it's so dark that it's hard to find the battery switch. I would like to map that Battery switch to a key on the keyboard. How to do that? I can't find it in the key mapping menu in FMC. I have FSUIPC if that is the way to do it. Thanks, BiTRiP

I recently replaced my OS Win 7 Pro with Win 10 Pro. Did a clean install of P3D, then started re installing add-ons. When I first tried to install the NGX (after uninstalling via control panel), I installed and first did not have any -600 or -700 WL models. So uninstall NGX and reinstall. I am now missing the gauges and the aircraft is not initializing, see attached. Just wondering how to correct the install. Thanks.

Hi, It started today afer an PMDG center update. When I select the vehicle, any B737NGX, after all systems initiate the plane sinks to the ground and P3D V4 resets to default flight. I tried other vehicles in the P3D V4 selection and this does not happen. I suspect the altimeter because I get a message that says my altimeter is set incorrectly, but my attempts to reset the altimeter failed. Thanks for any help Carlos Alvarez

Good morning. Is it normal that in FMC I have about 5 times Tutorial2 Panel State for loading? Which one is the correct one? Apart from this. trying to load the scenary as tutorial pages says on P3D, when loading, I don't find any PMDG presaved scenary or flight so I can not keep on with tutorial steps. Thanks very much. Following a FB conversation where a CRJ pilot was talking about icing conditions on a flight today. The pilot mentioned "ice detectors" and that at higher speeds they can wait until the ice detectors go off before flipping the wing anti - ice switch. At which time it only takes about 5-10 seconds for the wing to heat up enough to melt the ice away. I looked around and found that this "ice detection" is available in the 737- Why was it not modeled in the NGX? Limitation of FSX?

I just reinstalled everything on my computer and am being told that I have exceeded the number of activation for my 737. I tried opening a ticket but cant log onto that sit, no "forgot pw" option or anything to reset your pw. Help please, and thank you, Jon DiFrances

Got an airport that uses SODE jetways, which are activated with tab-s, and PMDG planes intercept that tab and have me typing in the FMS instead of calling the jetway. SODE does not appear to allow you to change the hotkey, so I'm checking to see if PMDG has a way. Thanks!

It seems before (a few months ago) I could change focus to another application/screen and still be able to have control inputs into the control of the aircraft via the joystick (In this case a Warthog Thrustmaster). Now when I switch focus to another app, for instance a ChasePlane menu on another popup that exists on a different monitor, I can't continue to control the aircraft with the joystick. It provides no control inputs while the focus is on the 2nd screen. I have to click back into the main FS window for the joystick to again provide input via the joystick. Hi everyone! For some time flying with the beautiful NGX I’ve been asking myself this question: is the calculated takeoff trim setting already corrected? In the Boeing manuals there’s a correction table for the trim setting based on the engine derate you choose and I don’t know if you have to apply this correction to the fmc calculated value or not. HI! When I tried to install a multiple livery package, it pops up this window, telling me to choose a livery to install. However, I tried clicking it and pressing "OK", using "Enter", Space bar, Backspace and numbers, but those all don't work. What to do with this situation? James·P·Lou

Hello when I recently had to reinstall my PMDG 737 NGX because my ops center program was deleted, it overwrote all of my settings for the aircraft that are custom chosen in the FMC. it took a lot of time to recreate those, as well as remember how I had set it up months ago Does anyone know where the file that contains these settings is located and its name so I can back it up and avoid this issue in the future? I have the following minor proplem with my CPFlight hardware 737MCP EL namely that the green control lights (LNAV/VNAV etc.) on the hardware do not light up while on the PMDG aircraft they do. I contact the technical department of the store from where I purchased the hardware and they believe it's a communication error between the hardware and the PMDG software and go into the PMDG FAQ's for a possible answer and/or solution. Maybe this topic has already been issued before but I at least cannot trace anything. Please assist. Regards Dirk

My 736 and 737 overhead panels have knobs where they shouldn't be and knobs that don't have click spots. My 738 and 739 planes are working fine. It's mainly the air conditioner system is. And a few other spots. Can it be fixed or should I just reinstall the 600/700 base again. It was working, but I mostly fly 800/900s.

Hi! I am writing to this forum because I don´t understand why displays go off (PFD, ND and EICAS) when flying if I forget to turn APU off (APU START and APU GEN 1-2 OFF) once engines are started on ground. In fact, to have APU on wouldn´t mean that displays have to lose energy because engines are generating energy... Apart from unknowing the reason, I don´t find any solution for this problem when flying en route. I try to change STAND-BY POWER and/or BUS TRANSFER states but this doesn´t help. So without displays my flight is spoiled... Thank you so much.
