PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

PMDG it is my understanding the current 900 that we have now is built as 900 non ER version or ETOPS.. I was wondering if you can adjust the 900 we have now and build up as 900ER ETOPS. instead of non ER which means going in and adjust the weight and balance figures Including Zero Fuel Weight - TOW - to match the 900ER out there today.. doing away with the old default 900 which are not ER versions.. So basically the 900 we have now become 900ER not plain 900.. I hope this request makes sense.. cause like tonight I am flying the 900 suppose to be ER and my zfw was 143.5 but I kept getting invalid request when trying too add it too the zfw section when loading the plane…

Hey guys, I have the Heart One livery already but I was curious if there's any exotic repaints out of it yet? For example: The old southwest livery had a Seaworld livery. my 737 for P3dv4 will not load any new livery. the livery manager says they have been added, but they do not show up and are not available in the sim. The default textures aircraft are there. I also have the cloudmaster from PMDG, new version livery seem ok and were added correctly. I Have tried 'repair' option but no help. I am reluctant to completely delete the product and reinstall. Hi, I have the 737-800 P3Dv4 and it has been going great then all of a sudden the internal sounds have been stopping. I think it happens when I change the acceleration height in the CDU actually. All PMDG sounds stop. I can still hear external GSX sounds like tractor engines. If I close the flight and come back to a saved file I made at the start the sounds are back but fuel level has gone to 181,000lbs. That cannot be changed or deleted and so the aircraft is unflyable. Anybody know how to solve this? Richard Wade

Yesterday I was approaching to Madeira Fuchal airport LPMA I was follofing the STAR LIDRO 1C ATC asked me to enter the hold on the fix MA532. The fix MA532 was also the active waypoint at about 50NM from my PPS I was able to select the MA532 wpt but when I pressed the HOLD button on the FMC I was unable to activate the MA532 fix. There was already a fix for the HOLD...the MA514 (that was later on my route) I tried many times to change the fix to MA532 but I was unable...also setting a new WPT before the active WPT (not to have the MA532 as the active wpt)..but I was still unable. The magentas on my pilot side pfd are faded to white... if I open the pfd pop up, they actually have color.. Anyone know if there is a fix? I've tried messing with monitor colors but nothing seems to help.. P3d v4 Pmdg 737 ngx

Hello 🙂 I have tried the #define EVT_GEAR_LEVER (in file PMDG_NGX_SDK.h ) with parameters 0,1 and 2. Nothing happened. The parking brake works with same method in FCUIPC so I assume the Gear lever ID is wrong or the parameters are wrong or PMDG does not support gear lever. Anybody knowing regarding gear lever ?

Hi I recently had to reinstall Windows 10, and now after reloading FSX SE and PMDG 737-800 , I do not get asked for the product Key when loading the plane.All I get is a message :" Initialization Of license library Failed". Hi I have experienced many times autopilot lights off and VNAV disengaged and then plane nose up about 30~40 degrees I need to nose down and make plane stable manually I though there are some bugs.. so i reinstalled NGX737 but it's not helpful.. I want to know why this happen Does anyone have same situation? Please help me

Hi Sorry if this has been asked before. On the product description it is written "tested with Lockheed Martin Prepar3D v3.3 and up" and "for Lockheed Martin's Prepar3D (v2.4-v3.x)*" So that's a bit confusing for me and it does not clearly state, it is compatible with 4.3, what is the actual Prepar3D simulator. I'd like to buy a 737, but want to be sure, it is for my simulator. PMDG could you please clarify the compatibility of the 737 product. Regards Daniel Mrawek

I recently added a three-position landing gear lever to my sim and have run into a puzzling issue with getting the correct DOWN/UP/OFF states to work. I'm using SPAD.neXt as my primary control and panel handler and a USB-button controller to sense the button states on the landing gear lever. It has two switches -- one is engaged in the gear-UP position, one is engaged in the gear-DOWN position and neither are engaged in the OFF. I've got SPAD.neXt configured to treat the switches as 'simple' buttons (i.e., no "long" or "short" presses, just "button pressed" or "button released"). Today I downloaded a livery from AVSIM. The livery is in the PTP-Format. But when I try to install it in my P3D v4 fleet, OC said the livery is in P3D V3 format and cannot be installed. Is it possible to convert the livery? Best regards Charly

I've just installed the 737 w/winglets and notice that everything seems to work just fine with the exception that I'm not able to zoom the captains PDF. I can zoom all other displays. Just wondering if this is a bug. My system is W10 plus P3Dv4.3

Hello all, I just purchased the ngx today and after a few attempts of installing I finally got it to work, however everytime I update it through the ops center the aircraft becomes broken as in it loses is validation code and doesn’t give me the option to enter it. When I uninstall after the update and reinstall using the download link provided by PMDG everything works fine...unless I update it as per the ops center. Its very odd, Not a big deal as it’s usable in its state but thought I’d mention it. thanks Gerry Soulliere

Hello fellow 737 drivers, I started the 737 up again after a long time to do some flying again but I noticed that when I was configuring a new livery for a new airline I am intending to fly for that the cockpit sounds produce the famous vibration of the older standby altimeter while I have selected the option to use the ISFD. That rattle should not be there. When I select the older set of standby instruments from the FMC, I get a second rattle added to the sound in the cockpit. (all in the 738WL) I've tried it in several liveries but it seems to be a persisting issue in all liveries I have selected. I've changed some .wav files years ago but none of them t…

Missing PFD (underspeed and AFloor markings on Speedtape. Flying from Mediera to Copenhagen ,midflight I saved the flight. The next day I reloaded the flight and The PFD looks incomplete. The yellow minimum maneuver speed and the red boxes (Afloor) indicators are missing. I have tried reloading it several times CLEAN and the same. I have checked 2 other saved flights and the same appears. I did try searching for others with the same problem and didnt find any. I guess Im special. I have a little problem. when I startup my plane I must always set the baro from InHg to hPA. Somewhere I read I can set the baro to hPA and save it as startup state. But I can only save the sartup with batteries on. So the plane isn't cold & dark. You see my "problem"... 😉 Maybe someone can solve my "problem" other ways. Cheers Charly

Hello Issue: I have a problem with both livery and a frozen cockpit regarding my PMDG 737. (also 777). A few months back everything was working fine. Then suddenly the livery was acting a bit wierd (see 1. and 2. picture). The aircraft was still working, so i didn't bother so much. A few days back, i was met by a frozen cockpit. (see 3. picture). I need some assistance using a VOR approach. First of all some terms ( see attached screen shot ) a) what is the name and purpose of the green arrow on top of the ND pointing to 048 degrees. b) what is the name and purpose of the dotted magenta line also pointing to 048 degrees. How do I get the exact location of the VOR ? Do I leave the A/P on ? Can it be done with the VORLOC ? I appreciate your help Paul 12
