Not sure why but when Direct X Preview is checked, the cockpit view of the panel is missing the PDF and ND. I need Direct X Preview turned off because it affects my addon Airports. As an example my Taxi2gate KMCO is great, but with Direct X enabled there is no runway lights at night. Just wondering how I could get my 737 to work without the Direct X

Hello, The FCOM provided with NGX is getting increasingly out of date. Stall and overspeed warnings are checked nowadays (I've seen newer FCOMs and all of them feature this) This used to be done before they completely remade the procedures 2005 but was removed and later was added again. The WLAN switch is not documented in the FCOM. Yes, it might be a dummy switch but still, for the sake of simulation it would be nice if this would be covered somewhere. Hello, Yesterday I did a couple of VOR/DME approaches followed by missed approaches. Things worked great using VNAV and VOR/LOC on the MCP. Shortly after initiating the G/A, I hit LNAV as I was above 400 ft AGL, the missed approach route turned magenta as expected however shortly after, it disappeared completely. I also did some ILS approaches however I did not see that behavior there. Is this behavior normal and if so, what causes it? Johan Nordqvist

Hi Guys, I recently bought the PMDG 737 NGX base pack after a lot of research. My first flight went perfectly fine ( my learning flight ), during my second flight( always load in long panel state ), I went to the external view and came back to the virtual cockpit view, I couldn't press any buttons, the buttons did not respond to my mouse clicks. I don't use any add-on camera software ( EZ dok...,etc ), I tried re-running the Simconnect.msi Programmes ( but still nothing worked ). This happens in the default PMDG liveries too and also my add-on liveries too. Please help me in this, I have waited so Long to fly the beautiful PMDG 737, thank you for your help:)

I'm about to embark on the 737NGX learning curve. I had hoped to spend considerable more hours flying the Q400 turboprop before taking this task on, but the landing gear retraction bug has rendered the AC unpredictable for online live ATC flying. I'm sure they will eventually get it sorted out and I can continue to accumulate regional hours, but it's time to move on, for now. I purchased the PMDG 737NGX in the fall of 17. Hi, I've been working on constructing some RNP-like approaches for the 737 NGX. After experimenting around, I was able to successfully modify an existing approach by placing additional fixes in it (I also used ADEX to create the fixes for the airport file in the sim), but when I went to create an entirely new approach (RNVV26), I get the following error message on the FMC LN:18 ERR at FIXES Having gone over it a million times, I can't see where I've gone wrong but maybe some one here savvier than I am can see it. Hello In the real world does the auto throttle get disconnected when the autopilot is disconnected or do pilots let AT control the approach speed all the way down, also does lnav and vnav only work once the auto pilot is turned on after takeoff, thanks Wayne

In searching the forum apparently others have had this issue since the last update of NGX. I do not have this problem with any other complex simulations only the NGX. Attempting to reload the flight after restart of FSX (using a default aircraft) the simulation counts down and loads the panel and scenery correctly. Engines restart and plane continues on course (AP and LNAV engaged) but the VNAV will not engage and the FMC alert is flashing. When I access the FMC, the route is gone and the data is corrupted with strange out of range numbers which I am able to sometimes correct using the delete option. A quick question. I am wondering why I always seem to get this error message? It seems like every fight I do I have at least 1 waypoint that I get "Unable 280 KTS AT (Waypoint)" Im curious if this is my mistake or is the FMC just isn't correctly inputting speed restrictions for my flight. Ill put a picture of the Legs page if for further information I dont understand how it goes from "Crowy" doing speed 253 KTS and next waypoint is 280 KTS.....Thats a 27 KTS difference... Have just uppdated my computer to i5-4460 3.2GHz 8MB Ram. Cannot get my PMDG 737 and 777 working . I reinstalled going back to the original downloads connected to my purchase order, but cannot get the plane working - no power, flaps etc.?

I am using Simbrief to create flight plans. The flight plans are complete when they are ready for download into the FMS. However, when I load them into the FMS, they are always incomplete, i.e. they are not airport to airport. They seem to cut-off in the middle of the flight plan. Hi, Its bin a while flying this old bird and i still love and enjoy her so much :-) I am on a flying to Helsinki and notice my speedtape with this yellow over/under my crz speed and wondering what this very narrow window actually meens ? I have just downloaded via the PMDG Operations Center the latest Update for my PMDG 737 NGX for Prepar3Dv4 as was in the Notifications and now the Cockpit view both in 2D Cockpit and Virtual Cockpit are extremely distorted, and have I have always started my PMDG 737 NGX with all systems and Engines running I would like to thank PMDG for this major fault and would like information on how to overcome this prblem as ithe program is now useless to be able to fly with. I have checked various Liveries and they all have the same problem, do I now have to Uninstall my PMDG program and start again. Regards. Jacob

Hello everyone. I have read many topics about NGX’s 737 flight dynamic. Many users including real 737NG pilots say that PMDG 737 flys “on rails” . As I understand it basically depends on FSX/Prepar3d modeling of flight dynamic. And I got a question: is it possible to create custom flight dynamic working independently from Prepar’s dynamic and to use Prepar3d/FSX like a visual engine only?

Hello I'm having some very strange issues with the 737NGX. I start it up from the stock cold and dark state, taxi and take off. No problems during that phase. But once in the air the aircraft doesn't climb well or gain speed. The PFD shows a negative pitch yet the aircraft is still in a climb. Engines run at normal climb thrust (e.g. ~88%). When I increase the thrust manually the nose goes down to -5 degrees without the aircraft gaining any more speed then 220 kt while still climbing at a small rate. Hi guys, does anyone use CPflight hardware here? I've the problem that my rudder trim panel does not work as it should. When i turn the trim wheel the sim is making endless trim inputs to the same direction until i turn it to the opposite side, then it starts to input endless to the other side and never stops. That renders my rudder trim panel to be useless. In the CP Hardware check the panel works flawless so i guess its and CPflight simconnect driver problem, i already had some emails exchanged with CPflights support but now they've gone silent since a few weeks. Over the past couple of weeks I have had to un-install and re-install the PMDG 737 NGX. PMDG customer support added some activations. I've had some OS issues going from Win 8.1 to Win 10 and back to Win 8.1, then having to restore Win 8.1 after that. Then I had 2 HDD failures within a couple of days, they each lasted 3 years. :( I had to uninstall and / or reinstall P3D and PMDG 737 NGX several times. I also had HUD issues with the PMDG 737 NGX so I decided to un-install and reinstall both P3D and PMDG 737 NGX on a new HDD. Hi, Showing a takeoff in a PMDG B737NGX Homecockpit for the very first time.

Hi Couldn't find an answer to this here. I'm actually working through tutorial #1 of the 737 NGX. Everything is done according to the tutorial. On the takeoff run, after VR, I rotate and lift off. The engines both go out immedialy after and I'm unable to avoid the disaster and crash. What is wrong? Tanks are full, a bit lower than 1/3 initially set. Both engine switches are set to "Cont" as advised. I may have missed something before. Could someone give me an advice, what could have happened. Thanks and BRGDS Daniel Mrawek

I'm a little new to this as I've just recently purchased this product. I have the 738 House Winglets installed and going through the startup checks etc I notice the Flight Recorder in the overhead panel indicates OFF with the switch in the normal position. Should this OFF light be out? Thanks.

I haven't used the PMDG NGX since the middle of the year. At that time everything was working as expected. However, when loading the NGX yesterday there was no Captains View and the only Cockpit views available to me were: F/O Seat; Overhead Upper Panel; Overhead Lower Panel; and Center Pedestal There were 10 Camera Definitions relating to the Aircraft.
