PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi all, In the flight sim accessibility add-on we're writing, I want to be able to display the overhead electrical panel meter in an accessible format. This requires reading the meter data with fSUIPC.I can read the first and second line of the meter using the SDK, but all I get back is a series of numbers on each line, without any labels. I'm guessing the labels are part of the sim, but I can't get to them, and since I'm totally blind, I can't read them.Can someone tell me what these numbers correspond to?Thanks!

Hello All, I had to reinstall P3DV4 and when i went to PMDG website downloaded the 737 file unzipped to my desktop i ran as admin the hour glass came up for about 10 seconds then disappeared cannot download, any help would be much appreciated. Regards Terence McKavanagh

I have searched the forums for help on my issue, and I may have missed something but here goes anyway. I am running P3D v5 with both the Aerosoft a321 and the 737 NGXu, When I added EZCAM to both of them, the cockpit view would jerk or spasm in VC. I resolved the a321 problem by turning off "views" in MCDU 3, but I haven't found that option in the 737. I can make the jerking stop momentarily if I double click my mouse, but in a few moments it starts again. Does it have something to do with 737's panning camera (global?) that loads upfront? I flew 2 days ago and today when I had to switch to another ATC at the aircraft I can't change frequency on radio panel.Flight controls (sidestick and throttle) didn't respond to my joystick(or mouse yoke)and I couldn't open anything addon - gsx,coutl,sode etc.I tried NGXu and NGX its same thing but in other aircrafts(777 747-4 747-8) i dont have this problem

Hi there, I wasn't sure where to post this, so thought I would start here. I am using FSX SE and PMDG 737NGX. I used to be able to do ILS landings quite routinely, however, lately the following problem has developed... Both localiser and glide slope are alive, and I am on final approach. Suddenly the airplane goes off course, seemingly in a random direction. This does not happen every time, but probably in about half the instances. I don't know whether this is some kind of a known bug or an operator error on my behalf. Hey folks, I have the PMDG 737 NGXu installed on P3D v4.5 and there is a yellow message shown on PFD (INSTR Switch) see the snapshot. I looked up for it in all NGXu's manuals but not found. I was wondering, What does it indicate to? Is it a warning message? If yes, how to remove it? Do I have to solve it before the flight? Finally, I face a problem of engaging the CMD after take off, Do this (INSTR SWITCH) has any effect on CMD engagement? Thanks a lot in advance.

does pmdg 737 NGX for FSX has a pause at TOD feature? I dont recollect it and if anyone is using pmdg 737 for fsx...could you please confirm? I read in manual there is an option in fmc to set it...is it available?

US has a 18,000 ft transition altitude while Europe has transition altitude of 3000-6000 ft. When flying in US airspace, given the high altitude at 18,000ft, wouldn't approach be more difficult , due to steep descent?

Hello guys, Some background information: flying in real-life is not really happening these days, so I would like to keep my IFR/flying skills up to date. I decided to get the FSX SE with PMDG 737NGX to work on this. I previously used FSX with PMDG and it worked awesome. But that notebook crashed after some time and everything was, well, gone. Anyway, my problem is that PMDG 737NGX doesn't work on my FSX SE. Any reason for this? I have read a lot on forums and different topics. I performed the steam integrity control of the game, deleted fsx.cfg multiple times, I checked the 'preview DirectX' box, lowered the Graph quality of the game. But still the same problem…

Hello, with the latest version I got any issue concerning the beacon light. The beacon illuminates only the part under the wing and ground etc. But the reflection above the wing is missing. Any ideas why? I use V5 HDR off and dynamic lighting on medium

I revisit old videos of 737 MCAS system, because now I've a better understand of how the 737 works. MCAS is supposed to auto correct the pitch angle when it detects a steep climb. In the video, the plane pitch down 10secs, level off 5 secs. Is this a software bug or the pilots were not trained to handle MCAS system? But during 737 Max demo at air show, the plane performed well and even demonstrated zero gravity.

Happened to me once, but no idea why auto pilot disabled autoland. PFD shows "No Autoland"

I'm confuse between the two. During descent, I usually set the altitude via ALT INTV, but sometimes the plane doesn't response to ALT INTV but response to LVL Change instead. Need help to understand the difference.

Hello I tried to update following a notification in the Operations Centre but it fails becuase a VCRuntime.dll is missing. A dialogie suggests reinstalling the programme to fix it. Is this a reinstal of the whole 737NGX basic package, or can I get the Operations Centre app separately? Andrew Gold

Why are the waypoints, FL and air speed highlighted in magenta colour ? The 737 is currently positioned at Tanet waypoint, so it make sense for Tanet to be marked in magenta colour, but why the air speed 250 and FL25 at other waypoints are highlighted in magenta color too? Hi, I was flying on Vatsim this evening and the controller told me to level off at FL 110 at my next Waypoint GIVME which was approximately 30 nm away. At that moment I was flying at cruise level at FL 210. My plan was to use VNAV descent for that job. So I changed the altitude of GIVME in the FMC to FL 110 and pushed the "Des Now" Button on the DES page of the FMC. The plane started to descend with a V/S of exactly 1000 fpm. The controller asked me if this will work. Since I was 10000 feet above GIVME and the distance was approx. 30nm I thought the FMC will do everything correctly.
