PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hello, i've just bought this 1. When i start the plane Everything look god inside, panel etc. Outside look isn't that nice, i just see a see through plane :( I've unchecked directx10 prewiew in settings. Please help!!! /axel

I run P3D 4.2 and the 737NGX with more and more pleasure. I have a Saitek Proflight yoke/ Throttle Quadrant, and the Proflight rudder pedals.For some reason, I tried to program the Throttle reverse on the same slider as the throttle is programmed. Is there someone, who got this working? (In FSX, I could manage it, but I forgot, what I did then). Thanks for help Henk

Hi all, I posted this to the P3D forum but thought I'd ask here too in case it is a PMDG-specific problem. I just updated to v4.3 last night, and this morning while trying to set up a flight I am experiencing a problem where the panel views will not come up (example: if I press shift+3 the FMC won't come up on my 737, Shift+7 won't bring up the overhead panel, etc). I reset the sim a few times and checked that the key assignments are all still there (they are). Anyone know what might be going on?

I am at the gate. Sometimes I see the OVERWING DOORS light up (but they are closed). It is an alert for a non perfectly not closed door....I try to reopen and close...but the lights are still on. The QRH says: if pressurization is normal--> continue if press is not not normal --> plan to land Obviously it refers to an inflight situation. But what to do when I am at the gate?...in rw I suppose you have to call maintenance to check it (btw I took off monitoring the light and it switched off after about a couple of minutes) What to do in these cases (as I imagine that taking off it is not the correct procedure !) …

After the last update the function - along track waypoints - is still buggy. A new waypoint with - (minus) is correct shown on ND but in FMC Flightplanpage after the desired point - insteadt before . The next Route Disconunity is`nt removable. Regards Lothar

Hi, when I request gsx they ask me to shut down my engines as usual. I do, but when they are off I hear a beeping noise (beep, beep, beep, beep), after a while it stops but when I turn my engines on again and takeoff. Then my autopilot won’t engage, what’s the problem and how can I fix it? Thanks.

I posted about loving to fly this plane by hand, well now I really love to, in VR. But I also love to trim it up straight and level and just look around in VR, it is gorgeously awesome. I cannot put into words how awesome it is, it is as close to perfect as anything man made can be, and I am not exaggerating, it is the best visual experience I have ever had on a PC, and guess what, it is there for me to enjoy it whenever I want. If I have a heart attack and die tonight, I will go peacefully as I have experienced your 737 in VR in all it's 3D glory. Thank you for creating a masterpiece, a working piece of art. I am still just blown away.

I'd almost finished entering all the information for a flight into the fmc. I opened the N1 LIMIT page and selected the TO and CLB parameters but when I tried to enter a temperature, I could only enter in one character. Subsequent key presses just overwrote the first character.. This was the case with both the PC keyboard and the fmc keyboard using the mouse. I went to other pages in the FMC and had the same problem. For example, impossible to enter more than one character in file name to save the panel state. I checked that Insert was not selected on the PC keyboared but in any case I don't see how that would have affected the use of the FMC keyboard…

Hello, i have problem. Outside lights not working at 737. I have PMDG 777 and it works fine. Please help.

Good morning, The VC cockpit in the PMDG 737NGX, running under P3D v 4.2 is rather blurry. In the PFD, and the ND, the figures for (for instance) Altitude, Speed, and the TC and TD are very hard to read. Could that be improved? (I must say, that in FSX, that was far more better). The 2D cockpit looks very good. Thanks for any help. Henk

Hello, I just updated the 737 today and while I was flying, me and my friend's cockpits froze up in the sim. We could still see eachother moving, but the cockpits froze. Obviously this is not just my system however I still rebooted to see if it would change. But on another flight, it did it. This for some reason only happens when I go to the dep/arr page in the FMC. I have installed the ngx and 737 updates via the operation center. Suddenly the installation program closed with an error message. Something with "can not find file/directory". I clicked "OK" (mistake from me) and error message dissapears. I want to see the error again and hoped to be able to reinstall the update, but it is said that I have already installed the most recent ones. How can I see what went wrong? Or, how can I redo the update?

Is this possible? I am frequently loading saved flight situations, but after the latest update this is not possible anymore. I've read somewhere that only a small amount of files have been changed. As I have a full backup of my system (all drives) I could replace the updated files with the older ones to roll-back. I just need the file names to do that. That would be only an interim solution until the problem gets solved by PMDG. Thanks

Ran new P3D3.4 B737NGX v1.20.8869 upate. Sim runs OK but when I try to run a previously saved scenario, I get P3D3 error message: "There was a problem deserializing the panel state while loading a scenario or checkpoint. This could be caused by a change in serializable plugins or a corrupted file. Consider removing the .pnl file or resaving to generate a new one." If I proceed toI load the scenario, all NGX displays are blank. Did the new .dll in the update trigger this problem ? Don't want to lose all my previously saved scenarios. Is there a workaround ?

I installed the NGX update today through the Operations Center, and now all my saved flights and saved panel states have problems. Each time I load either one, I hear "V1, V1, V1" repeatedly. Any advice would be appreciated. The Operations Center shows the NGX with ver. 1.20.8869 and the 600-700 with ver. 1.20.8465.

Hi, i can't update my airplane, i open the OC and his show the update in the notifications: A Product Update is available via the Operations Center. when i realize the update, i go to update, the OC download a small update: 1.08MB, open a windows console and then never update, the notifications disappear, when i open again OC the notification of update is show again and i get never update the airplane. my installed version of 738: 1.10.6461 and i try to update to the new update: 1.20.8869. Okay, hear me out on this one, cause it is really getting on my nerves. My problem is: I can’t engage the autopilot in the Pmdg 737-800 NGX. What happens is that when I press the cmd autopilot in the top left corner of the ap engage buttons, nothing happens, the button gets pressed in but there is no green light and no signs of it working. I have checked peoples answers here on the forum (asked by other people) but all of the fixes they say don’t work for me. So I have to fly hour long flights without autopilot. By hand! Hi all - I updated to 4.3 the other night and am now having problems updating the NAV data through Navigraph. I've run the data manager update twice for the latest AIRAC, but when I log into fly the FMC warns NAV DATA OUT OF DATE and displays that it still has the April/May AIRAC installed. Any idea what might be happening? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I have just upgraded my PMDG737 800/900 NGX to the version 1.20.8869 (the latest version), but I realized that I can no longer save my scenario progress data when I want to pause and pick it up later at another time. There was no problem like this before. Once I reload my saved progress again, the other setting (overhead panel, comm setting etc.) remain but all the FMC data are gone. My wife has some serious chronic back pains that leaves her nearly immobile half the time. Shes been down in the dumps lately and I've been figuring ways to cheer her up. Shes loves this livery so I've spent the afternoon getting her done. Still lots todo, but an alright start for now.
