PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hello, I recently got back into simming and I had purchased the 737-800/900 box version and the 737-600/700 on the PMDG website and when I try to install the 600/700 version I get a message that says: PMDG 737 NGX Base package for FSX, Version 1.20.8396 or later required before you install this expansion. Please update your 737 before installing this product. So I read on aerosft there is the SP1 for all box users so I typed in my information to get the update and no update is currently available for me to download. Any help please? Thank You

If I fly with the PMDG 737-800 (P3D version) then all displays are sometimes black. Another time then the both FMC's completely stuck and the displays works correct. Another time, everything works fine. Is this a known problem? Martien Roelofs

I have a problem with panning on my NGX with my X52. When I swith in any direction it does not move incrementally but by 90 degrees. I have this problem only with the NGX. Reinstalled it, reinstalled P3 v4. I would very much appreciate any ideas. Thanks so much. Bernd

Hello. I recently started getting weird callouts that are the default crj-700 alarms in the pmdg 737NGX. This just started happening and I've been using it in p3d for like 3 years. How do I fix or stop this? Andrew Jones

Hi, I recently updated NGX to the latest version (both 738 and 736/7 packs. After this, all liveries, except those installed for the -800 are no longer present to select in FSX. When I try to re-install, I get a message that the livery already is installed. If I install it again, as a copy, the livery is available again. Just wondering what's wrong. /Johan

I've noticed that in the PMDG 737 that on RNP approaches it does not draw the arc on some of the RNPs. Here are some examples of what the PMDG does. It makes performing RNPs difficult and irregular. It completely skips the arc and goes direct to the waypoints included. I have no idea if the 777 or 747 does it, but the NGX does.

Hi Guys, can anyone give me a hand on muting the VOR ident tone on the PMDG 737NGX? I tried the knobs on the Comm Panel, as depicted. Didn't help - it just keeps on beeping and annoys the heck out of me... Maybe I do have the wrong approach here. When The flight is completed and I am at the gate for the turnaround, if I check my position I often see that the GPS and IRS are not exactly the same. The difference tipically is very small. the question is, in real world is there a maximum discrepancy after that you have to realign the aircraft position? Or is it done only in the cold and dark startup? thank you

Hello, several months ago as far as I remember, there was an info, that the good old 737 will be updated/upgraded to modern PMDG standards like the 777 or 747. I have hoped to hear about it along with the FS Expo news, but so far I haven't heard anything. Does anybody have any informations about possible future updates of the 737? many thanks!

In the NGX 737-800, every time I put the destination airport EGPH (UK2000 Edinburgh) and LOWS (Digital Design Salz), I get the message RWY (Insert here) N/A. How can I fix this. I am using the latest AIRAC from Navigraph, and I tried using makerunways.exe. I heard that you can fix this by deleting the Airport_Runways file in the Navdata folder for p3d....but I dont have a file like that in my Nav folder for p3d v4, any help?

Hello, When I want o use the Saitek Flight Switch panel the only button that actually is represented in simulator is the landing gear lever. None of the light switches don't do anything and I have to manually turn on aircraft lights. I have also sent this message to Saitek but I was curious if anyone here ran into that issue. Hi all I'm getting more and more addicted to sode. However, I noticed that the lcoation for the jetways are wrong. I read that that is caused by a wrong door location in teh CFG. IS this true? and if so, are there data around with the correct placement? I can't find it for the 737

Hi, When I fly a flight in P3DV4.2 with the PMDG 737, the simulator freezes for about 10 seconds, and then resumes as if nothing happened. This happens multiple times on a flight and usually starts within about 10 minutes of take off. It does not appear to be a frame rate issue as the frame rates do not drop when it freezes. I fly the PMDG 737 NG for P3DV4 and use multiple ORBX add ons, all specifically made for P3DV4. It does not appear to cause any damage, nor does it crash the simulator, it is just annoying. I have done the exact same flight (Victoria BC, to Vancouver BC), with the P3DV4 default Beach Baron, with no freezing at all. I have read some posts about auto …

It tells me every time I run it I have a 737 update. So I let it update I get the DOS window and it tells me it's updated. Shut down the ops center and it does again, every single time.

I need your help: During "long" flight, should we say after about 1.5/2 hours flight, P3D starts to have a sort of short stop&go. After few seconds the simulation starts again. It is like a small PAUSE of few seconds. During the flight I have a stable 32 fps. If the flight has to conitnue for another hour, the issue comes up again and becomes more critical: pauses are longers. Eventually P3D crashes and I have to resume it. I have checked VAS with Proces Explorer and when the issues started I had 2.4.GB of memory usage...so not so bad. I do not have this issue with another complex airplanes. My hardware: P3D3.4. win10…

Hi there, I am new on this forum and new in the Prepar 3d environment. After loading Prepar 3D and selecting any airport with the pmdg 737, after initialising and doiing nothing, the aircraft crashes, the wheels are goiing in the concrete. I have ORBX installed. All other standard planes are working fine. Is it pmdg737 or ORBX what causes this problem? I hope somebody can help me out! Best regards Frans

Hello. I just did a flight in the 737-700 from NFFN to AGGH, the descent went fine with VNAV on and followed the profile perfectly as assumed. I flew the over head VOR arrival into AGGH 06, it went fine with vnav following everything. However I needed 6.0 DME to reference a turn, I tuned both nav selectors to 113.60 which was the frequency I needed. I switched to see the VOR 1 + 2 on the the displays, they didn't show a distance. I encountered extremely bad turbulence on the approach and performed a missed approach, I entered the published hold at 4000FT. I have been enjoying the amazing functionality and accuracy of the 737 NGX simulation and decided to write accurate approaches not in this months latest Navigraph updates. In particular I have been attempting to write RNAV approaches for Queenstown NZ in the SIDSSTARS folder. I have searched the net for assistance in writing the correct syntax for these files and have been meticulous in adding all extra fixes to the file as well as the approaches and gates. I keep getting an error at line 17 which is the word FIXES. It appears like all other files in this folder and is very confusing. Is this a known issue when writing your own SIDS stars files? Hello! I recently have undertaken the journey of learning the 737 systems and have found out about the chief pilot manual set. I am well aware that this is a discontinued product, but I am just wondering if anyone knows where to find this set. I've already checked Ebay and saw that they all must've sold out! I am also well aware that the manuals can be found in the pmdg flight sim folder, but I much prefer the paper manuals. If you do not know where to find this, does anyone know what kind of paper flight manuals use.
