PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi. I was flying the 737-700 winglet model in All Nippon livery, after running some updates with the PMDG Op Center program. I tried to turn the AFDS flood light on a medium bright setting, and it goes full bright after just barely rotating the knob. Essentially there is no dimmer action at all, it is either on full blast or off. Is that normal? Thanks!

Hi, since I did the last update of Windows 10 Pro (Fall Creators Update), when I use the 737ngx the sim gives me the "Error creating child window" after initial loading. I also updated the 737 through the Operation Center program and then tried to uninstall and install it but I always get the error. This may be caused by the update of the "Fall Update Creators"? Or from some addons such as GSX? I do not know how to fix the problem and I can not use the 737ngx. I tried with other planes and did not seem to make this mistake. I use FSX Steam Edition. I hope there is a solution to the problem. Thank you.

I have ActiveSky (latest) working fine with my NGX in P3Dv4.1. However - the weather radar only ever displays information in the right hand side of the gauge. Tilt, gain etc. all work OK - and I can see the sweep moving over the left hand side, but nothing ever shows there. Any ideas, anyone? Adam.

Good evening! I'm new to this forum :) I just bought the 737-800\900 and -600\700 from PMDG. So far so good. Except, there is a really annoying propeller noise at the very beginning. You hear it inside the cockpit and outside but it should be completely (almost) silent. I uploaded a sample on youtube: I really hope so much that anyone can help me! This bothers me a lot! Will the PMDG have ARINC 424-19 implemented to its products to make it more realistic then it is? Will be amazing to do RF legs too. We've seen other companies do it, would love to see PMDG finally implement such navdata type. Necmi Osman

Hey there, I just started noticing this yesterday while doing a night flight, but main panel brightness switch does not turn on everything it should turn on anymore. For example my flaps indicator or the autobrake switch is left completely dark. Is there a setting in the sim which could cause this? Regards

Good Morning (Afternoon, Evening), I finally upgraded to P3DV4 and bought the 738. So far, so good, but a small issue has come up. I am at FlyTampa EHAM and the jetways sit really high on door 1L. I understand there could be a corrected door config out there that corrects this. Would anyone know what that is? Scott

Hi... after installing 737NGX into P3Dv4 I can't locate the tutorial #2 as per the instructions: Start P3D and navigate to the Create Scenario screen (Flights, Create Scenario) if it is not up by default. Click the “Load” button. Select the flight “PMDG 737NGX Tutorial #2 EHAM-LOWI” There is no file with this name displayed... is it in another location? Also, unrelated to the tutorial flight, pressing the MFD SYS button displays the hydraulics/flight controls on the lower DU when I have loaded the PMDG house livery but for other liveries i.e. Southwest and Ryan Air, only the hydraulics is displayed. Is this by design? Thanks

Hellow guys! I am having an issue with the 737 FMC. I can understand that the terrain on copilot side is inhibited for better performance but I don’t know why the FIX doesn’t either work. For example I am in the Copilot’s CDU FIX page and i am entering the FIX(AB,USA or whatever). As soon as i click on the L1 button,it returns back to the FIX page without any fix. But meanwhile it works normal on the Cap’s CDU. and besides,I can not type anything into the FMC by using my keyboard although I do click on the scratchpad and it shows up the green edge which means I am suppose to type in with my keyboard. quick question for those who know the rules better than me, if you knew you were going to touch down slightly after the touchdown zone but were 100% sure you could safely stop the plane before then end of the runway do you have to/would you still execute a go around?

Though I have submitted support ticket on this, I am also posting here in hopes that perhaps someone else has had this issue and already knows a solution. May be faster than waiting for response from Support. I have Win10, which is an issue in itself (LOL), but the last update I received was that KB that fixed the child-window issue. I since have deactivated my "automatic windows update" module as well as my "windows module installer" and that seems to be holding back the latest update (windows defender anti-virus). So I've recently been having a problem with the PMDG 737NGX. I felt like redo-ing the Innsbruck Visual Approach that came with the Tutorial #2 saves upon installation. I was able to load it up easily, provided that I recently started up FSX:SE. The approach was going smoothly until the autopilot started to pitch the aircraft down infinitely until it started plummeting down to the ground. However, that's not my problem today(I'll find a fix for it later). When I hit (CTRL) and (;) to reload the save, I successfully load in the position I should be, inside the PMDG 737-800WL before the circling visual approach for RWY08 at LOWI(Innsbruck). Hello all I am a new comer to this site and need a little help I just bought this aircraft a week ago and I notice that I get a NAV DATA OUT OF DATE MSG on my FMC. I thought this would come with the latest NAV cycle I do not see why I should have to purchase an update from navigraph ?

Hi there, Yes, I read other topics about this but it does not solve my problem. So, as the title says: The NGX freezes time to time. These freezes are not recoverable and I simply hate them. FSUIPC Autosave is turned off, but that does not help at all. Computer Specs: - Intel i5 480M 2.66GHz (boost clock to 3.1GHz) - 8 GB DDR3 1666Mhz RAM - AMD RADEON HD 6370M (1GB VRAM) - Windows 10 Pro I have a lot of addons (like REX texture direct and ORBX Global + Vectors LC). Wondering if anyone can help? I've followed the guidance in this video and I find the plane lands correctly about 70% of the time. The other occasions I end up crashing as the autopilot has brought me down too steep. What can I do to resolve this and what am I doing wrong on those occasions as from what I can gather I'm following the same procedures. Thanks in advance.

I can not figure out why FMC is not calculating altitude so that I can engage it. Just transferred to Win 10 and P3dv4. A handful for me with Win 10 for the first time. The Apps are driving me crazy. I installed the NGX for my first aircraft. Everything went fine and the graphics are great. Only one problem with the NGX, and its more of an irritant than anything else. I installed the latest Navigraph FMS download and the correct dates are reflected on the CPU ident page, but I keep getting the Nav Data Out of Date message. I have re-downloaded Navigraph; with no change. Seems like I had this problem years ago, but can't remember how to correct it. Any advise? Mike Nicholson

Next update you do for current 737 NGX.. Think we can get an option to have in the 2 class. Too have 16 first class seats So the ability to switch from 12 seats to having 16 first class seats in the 737-800 please United has 2 class system first class/ coach there first class has 16 seats in first class.. Yours only currently has 12.. So the ability to be able to switch from 12 too 16 would be nice to have feature in an update.. Also can we have the ability to open our flight deck windows please

Hello, Is it possible to insert a (vector) waypoint into the FMC? Many times there is a disconnect between the last waypoint in a STAR and the first waypoint on the approach so I usually just connect the 2 but I know that I will be vectored onto the approach so is there a way to tell the FMC that?
