Just noticed that the indicated brake temp doesn't change when landing with autobrakes set to 2. Is this correct?

I was level at 8000 slowing to 180 from 240 (about 220) when I decided I needed to get down to 5,000 as quick as possible. So, I rolled the alt back to 5000 and clicked on LVL CHG. I watch the speed drop 200, 190… I expect it to start to nose over and dive down to 5000. But no pitch- Speed 180…170…160…150… still no pitch! I can take it no more, I disconnect the throttle and mash them up and finally observe as the plane NOSE DIVES to bring the speed back up. I know LVL CHG will pitch to descend as much as possible without raising speed once it hits the speed I have dialed in, but I figured it would have recognized somewhere around 200 to start pitching… inste…

Just wondering... Is there any chance that PMDG would give to the simmers this?

Hi gents! So I finally bought P3Dv3 Pro version a couple of weeks ago, and bought PMDG 737NGX Base package today. I'm having one issue though; the installer will not run. The UAC dialogue asking permissions to run the file pops up, but that's it. Nothing happens after that. No dialogue asking for anything, no error messages. It just doesn't start up, without any messages or indications of error...apart from not starting. Thinking it might be the UAC causing problems, I've tried disabling that all together, but still no joy. I've re-downloaded the installer, both with and without any AV/Firewall (I run ESET Smart Security Premium) active, still nothing. …

PIC had his first attemt as the Captain in a PMDG B737NGX during take off from ESSA. Almost crashed during take off.

Odd issue and I'm not finding anything in the search so I apologize if a duplication. When fly the HGS on the NGX in the clouds, the HUD keeps dimming in and out to a point where you can not read it. Thought this is odd as clouds should not have an effect on the brightness of the HUD. Also, bad time to loose the ability to read the hud also. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I have finally made the jump to P3DV4 and bought the PMDG 738 (Also first time!). I cant seem to find a Fly Dubai livery anywhere. Could someone point me in the right direction? Scott

Harvey Wilson I am very new to PMDG and P3D. I have P3D and Microsoft FSX Steam. I recently installed P3D v3 and I wanted a 737, so I bought the PMDG 737. I've installed the PMDG 737 but it automatically goes to the FSX steam folder, so I manually have to moved the plane and it 'gauges' to the P3D folder, and the relevant files in SimObjects to make it work in P3D. The plane is working fine, but when I went on YouTube to try and look to follow some tutorials on how to get started, everything was fine until I got to the point of using the electronic setup panel. Hello, since the installation of the famous Windows update, I lost most of the added liveries of my NGX, 777 and 747. Additionally, the WL version of the NGX is no longer selectable either in FSX. Altough, all looks installed if I consult the Ops center. Removing and reinstalling the gost liveries are no help. Any suggestions? regards, eric

I don't recall it ever being this bad in the past. I don't know what I did to make this happen. I found some very old threads on this but nothing current. P3Dv4.1 Is there anything current of what may cause this.

Hello Flusifreund, I use the PMDG 737-800 NGX WL for my P3Dv41. Now I am about to configure my configuration for my PMDG 737-800 NGX WL by means of FMC. For the seating I use the single class but under load I am only able to adjust to 170Pax, although I could allegedly load 189 Pax. If it is possible, where can one change the Pax from 170 to 189, because in the FMC can enter only up to 170 Pax, I plan only with Kg and PFPX and TOPCAT. Many Thanks! Greeting Peter

I couldn't find anything in the PMDG Manual for the 737-NGX concerning joystick settings such as sensitivity. If anyone is using Saitek Pro Flight Yoke, please let me know what settings worked out best for you? And I do understand that issues such as the aircraft's tendency to pitch down during turns are realistic.

I made several flight plans using Simbrief and saved them. How can I import them to the PMDG-737 CDU and in which file/folder are they saved ? Thank you for your help Paul

This is my problem, the 737 simulation just stops. After 2 to 5 seconds Prepar3d begins loading a scenario. If you are flying a new scenario, Prepr3d loads the default scenario. If you are flying a saved scenario, Prepar3d loads the saved scenario. For example, a flight from Christchurch to Queenstown via waypoint RY abruptly ends about 20 miles from RY. Prepar3d loads the default scenario which is the F22 raptor at Elgin AFB. I saved a scenario about 50 miles from RY. Let's call it NZ One. The sim abruptly stops about 20 miles from Ry and Prepar3d loads NZ One which will again stop about 20 miles from Ry. If I exit Prepar3d entirely and start from scratch the same a…

Hi everyone, I am using latest release of P3D ver. 4.1.7.22841 and PMDG 737 NGX 1.20.8465 Fresh installation of everything and P3D just loaded with PMDG 737, clean fresh start and... here it goes... My weird problem is the following, basically 737 NG loads correctly and after a few seconds the airplane sinks into tarmac !!! If crash detection is disabled the airplane rattles and bounces instead, up and down increasingly. Hi, Could someone tell me how to get the vertical speed numbers on the MCP to work. I am using P3DV4, with PMDG, and Goflight MCP Pro. All the dials and displays work, as they are designed to, except the vertical speed. When I am loading P3DV4, the vertical speed display lights up (all zeros), but as soon as PMDG 737 loads up, the display goes dark. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Rob

I am experiencing a recurring issue with saved scenarios involving the NGX that, once loaded, the aircraft gear seemingly collapses and the aircraft drops to the ground (triggering a crash) the moment it begins its panel initialization sequence. The issue does not seem to occur the very first time I load the scenario. However, if I Reset or Reload that scenario, the aircraft will suffer a kind of gear collapse. For the last several weeks after flying the 737NGX I go to exit P3D v4 and I get a message that the "sim is not responding." After a few seconds P3D shuts down and all is good. However any other plane I fly and then exit the sim there is not problem and it shuts down immediately without issues. Over the past several weeks I have had issues not being able to load and fly other 737NGX with various liveries. I have a Virtual Avionics MPC and EFIS and several days ago they just stopped working, They are not recognized by the sim or the PMDG 737NGX. Should I uninstall then reinstall the PMDG 737NGX? Hey guys, Trying to learn Tutorial 2 is crazy work. There is so many things I just do not understand but one thing is driving me nuts is on page 0.00.118 (page 118 of pdf). It states "Flip the first officer’s ND mode control to APP (approach). This is set for the missed approach procedure and will allow us to easily follow the 067 course to the OEJ LOC/DME station in the event we go missed" I can not find it at all. When I try the save approached file for Tutorial 2, I see approach alignment (something like that) happening on the F/O screens. Hello, I bought a PMDG 737 NGX. When I start my FSX with the PMDG 737, then everything is black (like cold and dark status). When tapping through the views with "a", the 2D Cockpit view is very strange.. Its like the gauges are pressed together... No button or any switch cant be clicked.. I already did the fsx repair via steam and also did the installations of simconnect. I am afraid.. What do I need to do, to fix that issue? How can I insert screenshots in here?
