PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Can someone let me know how I enter a flightplan into the FMC when the departure or arrival airfield does not have any SIDs or STARs in the database? What do I use as a waypoint? Do I just look for one that is close to the airfield? In addition, I would like to be able to "bypass" multiple departure waypoints, and fly direct to the destination airport STAR. Is that possible? If so, how do I enter this into the FMC? Sorry for the n00b questions, but I have very little experience entering flightplans into the FMC. So after a search of the forums i found a thread discussing this, but after seeing someone get bashed for resurrecting an old thread, I decided to start another. My question is about the N1 button on the MCP. I am curious as to how it is properly used. I understand different situations dictate the use of certain things, so examples of real world scenarios would be appreciated. I have been having a problem in P3D and using Oculus Rift when cycling through the different views and returning to the cockpit view. On the VR menue after selecting Recalibrate Origin it puts me in the center of the cockpit and behind the seats instead of in the left seat. After manually repositioning myself if I cycling through the view points I end up back in the center of the cockpit. Is there a way to recalibrate and correct the origin position? Thanks Steve

Hello everyone I have a problem with Prepar3d V4 and PMDG 737-800ngx. I installed p3d with PMDG for P3d. At the beginning everything OK p3d loaded properly. Then install FSUIPC spad Next and everything OK. Two days ago reopen P3d V4 and Crash no longer pops up. Exits the main screen with the loading bar and then i see nothing. It only works if I uninstall PMDG. Can anyone help me? i tried and searched everywhere but without result. and to reinstall PMDG I have to do it with P3D v4 Open otherwise if I install PMDG and then I open p3d it still crashes. So I have this very simple problem, and it's probably something stupid on my part, but after doing days of research I cannot find anything about it online so I've decided to bring it here. My nav radio, which should be in the form of xxx.xx is now in the form of xxx.x, not allowing me to tune in certain frequencies like instead of 108.95 it only has 108.9 I would submit a pic but I really don't know how. I'm flying P3Dv4.1 in VR with Oculus Rift and Flyinside. When I trim the aircraft using a programmed hat switch it physically trims, nose up/down as expected however the trim wheel doesn't move in the cockpit nor make any sound. It does animate and make a 'whishing sound' when on autopilot. I've searched the forum but couldn't find anything. It's not a big deal but I was just wondering if I'd missed something obvious.

I'm hoping someone can have some idea of what's going on with my NGX. The problem is not present anywhere else in my hanger except the NGX. For some reason, all of a sudden, the ailerons do not function correctly. This became apparent after leaving YSCB and just prior to V1 the plane began to violently career off to the right handside, as the plane lifted it continued to veer ever more dramatically to the right and eventually nosedived into the ground. On inspection, it appears that the ailerons are not functioning correctly. I have moved on to P3D v4.1 and have the NGX installed. I do not use the default ATC in P3D. Since flying the NGX, I keep hearing the Morse code for the Localizer ( I guess) when I am starting my approach. I don't remember having that previously and was wondering if I can mute it? Thanks

I've been flying the PMDG 737-800 for quite some time now, and I've never been able to keep my gear aligned with the centerlines when I taxi, it always seems to drift, and makes parking a real pain in the butt. Does anyone have any tips or tricks I can use to keep my plane on the centerline? I use my joystick to taxi (I'm pretty sure I use the Rudder axis), and my speed is usually from 15-20 knots when taxing, and slower when parking.

I want to use my Thrustmaster Throttle/CH eclipse Yoke and VKB Rudder pedals as controls. I got a bit stuck yesterday in trying to set up Linda and the NGX profile that is available. Hello forum! This evening I encountered a strange bug/issue, possibly related to the PMDG 737. I was pushing back from stand 36 at ENVA (Aerosoft's Trondheim v2), using GSX. My APU was turned on, and the icing conditions dictated a engine start AFTER the push was complete. When I arrive at the stoppoint, GSX just disappears, and the APU turns off. Then, the whole plane seems to be stuck on the ground, while the wings are flexing, and the instruments showing that the plane is actually moving. Slewing or changing gate didnt not do anything. Dear flightfriends, Last night I was trying to bind my warthog throttle via fsuipc. I choose 'send direct to fsuipc calibration'. The problem is that psuipc shows the throttle movement and I disabled any assignments in p3dv4.1 but the ngx 737 throttle does not move what so ever. Is it normal to just sit on the runway and not being able to move the throttle of the 737 or should it respond immediately when I move the warthog throttle. I choose "throttle" in fsuipc drop down menu btw. Imtried a lot of things in fsuipc but the throttle in the sim stays where it is.... Thanks for your thoughts!

Hi there, So I recently updated the 737NGX through the Operations Center and just recently I noticed that some DLL's are causing FSX Steam Edition to crash. First Crash: - Happened when I loaded the 737-700 with wiglets and Alaska Airlines livery and was setting it up for a flight out of Portland. - Crash info: BEX, PMDG737NGX.dll as the cause. Second Crash: - After a Flight when I exit flight sim it will crash and say: "Appcrash, PMDG737NGX_2.dll as the cause. Anybody else have this?

Each hyd system powers a pair of flight spoilers per wing. (Sys A feeds spoilers 2, 4, 9, 11 and Sys B - 3, 5, 8, 10). Shutting down either of the systems as well as Spoilers switches should stop operating the corresponding pair. On NGX all 8 spoilers remain working with one system switched off. Is it a known issue or I had better submit a ticket?

Hi, I just purchased my first PMDG aircraft (737NGX for P3D4) and love it. However, a problem is happening when I am going through the Tutorial 1 provided by PMDG: All was well the first few times, but now at Takeoff stage ("In the Air" section of Tute), when I spool to 40%, and hit TOGA, N1 shoots up to derated 88%, but the aircraft too slowly accelerates and I crash into the unsuspecting vehicles on the road at the end of the runway at only 120(-ish) knots. (VR is 142). I have checked brakes are off etc. I have checked and rechecked my settings in FMC as outlined in the Introduction document. When I searched this forum, a topic from 2014 called "Pmdg…

I was wondering if PMDG has lateral and vertical flight management upgrade thoughts in their products? It's something I would love to see them upgrading ARINC 424-19. Simply because this aircraft lacks tracking lateral navigation at some points in SID and STARS. Necmi Osman

My liveries are selectable on 747 and 777 but not showing on 737. I downloaded few of each model from the ops center. All others work but none for 737 show up to select in the sim. Any ideas? Windows 10 P3D V4 thanks

Hello so I am trying to do a flight from Telluride to KLAX in the 737-600 but for some reason cant get the autopilot to engage after takeoff. I have flown the 737 before and know how to setup the FMC and the MCP so that the autopilot will work and have completed many flight before. However the last few flights i made which were out of KTEX I couldnt get the AP CMD button to come on. Also the LNAV button lit up when I clicked it but couldnt get the VNAV button to come on. I eneterd the correct ZFW and fuel loads and other info in the PERF INT page and made sure the autothrottle switch was on as well as both Flight Directors. Any ideas why it might not be working? Tha…
