PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

After downloading the latest P3D v4.1 NGX I find I have no Nose Wheel Steering. Hardware all checked out like before. Calibrated. All default aircraft steering okay. Help please?

On one of my repaints I have created custom cabin textures. The day files work perfectly but for some reason the night textures will not show and restore to the default pmdg texture. I have both (pmdg_737NGX_cabin) and (pmdg_737NGX_cabin_night) in the texture folder and the alpha layers have been edited. Thanks

My main question is that most of the time when i put in my ARRIVAL STAR it never actually lines up with the runway. I was just curious if that is normal on most flights? because i would imagine once you get close to airport you will receive vectors anyway??

All, I want to configure my keyboard and the switches on my Saitek TPM to work with the controls in the PMDG 737NGX, since switching views all the time is a pain, even when using Ezdok. I am viewing the PDF manual in the Modules folder to try to learn how to use the system, but I still don't understand how to pick which buttons go with which command. I'm using Notepad++ to view the .h file. I haven't been able to find anything on YouTube, so I figured this forum would be the best place to ask. Any help anyone can provide is appreciated. Hi, With the version of P3D 4.1.7.22841 when I want to use the 737NGX 2D panel there are a software crashes. I have reinstalled an old version of P3d (4.0.23.21468) the 737 NGX 2D panel working well. Someone else has it problem.

A question for real pilots: isn't the NGX "ground effect" exaggerated? The "landing technique" you use in the real world is the same you use for the NGX? Thanks!

Hello everyone Since the last update the nose-wheel-steering of my 737 is not working anymore, well the wheel is actually turning but it seems like it has no friction and the plane keeps going straight... Does anyone know what to do? Did I miss something? Thanks, Andreas Schultes

Hi, 1.after installing the latest updates (version 1.20.8465 for FSX), which include the correct top of nose texture viewed from VC, I noticed that the vortex generators on the nose disappeared and are no longer visible from VC. Ive seen a bunch of youtubers be able to make there Knobs scroll incredibly fast..... and by Knobs i mean Heading, Speed, Altitude, On my computer even if i hold my mouse click it still scrolls slow and also each click is slow. Programing Altitude up to FL380 SUCKS and takes like 2 min of my time.

Hi I have just landed the 737NGX and suddenly the spoilers wont extend to slow the aircraft down, the reverse thrust animation doesnt work and then suddenly all of the controls stop working. I can press F4 on my keyboard to get throttle but no buttons works. My joystick has also stopped working. Does anyone know of this issue and have a solution? Thanks

Hello, I am new to flight simulators. I am using prepare 3d and with 15,000 lbs of fuel it goes to 5,000 lbs in 5 or 10 minutes. My stepson says I should reinstall pmdg. The boy has been helpful in assigning controls and buttons and axis etc, but I am struggling with getting everything setup and working. Any suggestions on the disappearing fuel?

I want to start using the paint kit from PMDG. I know Photoshop has a 3d feature, is there a model of the 737 I can use and check my paint job without having to load FSX?

Hi, I just got a new Asus laptop Intel core i5 7300hq quad core 2.5ghz turbo up to 3.5ghz 8gb RAM Nvidia geforce gtx 950m 2gb gddr5 Windows 10 64 bit SSD 256 gb How well would the PMDG 737ngx and the 777 run on this setup? Assuming that I dont use any additional scenery, weather and terrain programs, so just FSX with the pmdg 737ngx or the pmdg 777. Would it run and if yes at what settings? or is this laptop not suitable to run the PMDG 737ngx?

In P3D v4.1 with the latest NGX update (v1.20.8465), I have a couple issues that a fresh install of the aircraft didn't solve. 1. My captain side PFD doesn't have a clickspot to pop it out into its own window. All other display clickspots work just fine. I've tried opening the PFD by going to Vehicle>Instrument Panel>Zoomed Left Outboard DU, but upon clicking that, the window appears to flash quickly, then disappear. 2. The VSD will not show any terrain although the ND itself does, so I'm assuming that means the terrain data is loaded, just that the VSD shows nothing. 3. Hi all, I gave a question. I´m about to paint D-ABMU airberlin operated by tuifly for the 738WL. the problem is, when she still flew for airberlin, the left Winglet was a tuifly Winglet the right one in airberlin colours. I can paint one Tui and one BER winglet, but there is the lower side of the winglet. I can have it either red, oder yellow, but always the same colour on both sides, as it´s only once in the paintkit. Is it possible, to get one for left and one for right? thanks for your answers

Hello guys, I have a little problem with my NGX, whenever I startup my aircraft (I use FS2Crew for the NGX) but I don't know if that is related to that, everything goes fine untill the pushback, I always put on before pushback the APU... then when the APU is available I switch on the 2 switches on the overhead APU and remove the ground connections, after that I push back start engine 2 that works ALWAYS fine but then now it comes, when I start engine 1 the engine fails... always... and then I have to set the panel state to default and reset everything again... Hi Yesterday I updated all my PMDG aircraft including the Operations Centre using the usual Operations Centre updating procedures. I got an error window when updating the P3D v3 version of the B737 NGX. Suspecting a problem, I decided to uninstall the aircraft from P3D (via the Control Panel), but also manually clean out all the other files for the P3D v3 of the aircraft. As I also have the P3D v4.0 version of the B737 as well, this also uninstalled that aircraft at the same time, though I did not manually clean any files from this version. Anyway, I downloaded the latest versions of B737 (both base pack 800/90 and 600/700) from the PMDG website, and re-inst…

In some PMDG 737 liveries, like American Airlines and Southwest, I get what appears to be anti-aliasing problems especially around the passenger windows. I can zoom-in and the problem disappears. In most PMDG 737 liveries, there is no problem at all. Any suggestions on a fix?

Hello fellow pilots, I recently updated to p3Dv4.1 and all works fine. I noticed however that this weekend some minor updates were pushed for several of the PMDG products including the NGX. When I access my operations center however, I get the message that the OC has not been able to determine the most recent version of my PMDG product. (which is 1.20.8443) Is there a way this can be fixed? Thanks Daniel West

Hello everyone! I've selected PMDG 737 on the change vehicle screen on P3D V4.1 after that I've clicked ok button for return to startup screen and click ok button goes to the runway. I've opened the menu bar when I was on the runway; I have selected vehicles pulled down the dropbox and I've clicked select went to change vehicles screen then I've selected same aircraft but different airline and then went back to the runway.
