Right, Im using FSUIPC to run my Saitek Throlles (duel), Yoke and Pedals through. So on takeoff with AT Armed I usually put my throttle up 40% stabilize and hit the Takeoff Thrust key, and sometime the A/T disengages after a few moments. Also, in the air with the NGX in A/T and VNAV modes all of a sudden I get a Dual ENG fail and then after I wait a few seconds they come back to life. Now, I know I could put a ticket through but I thought I'd ask first. I have the latest updates and Im running FS2Crew with it too.

Hi Been flying the NGX for a while now and love it! I always like to review my approach and touchdowns after landing and it always appears as though in order to land at vref the pitch of the nose always seems high (prior to flare) and it always looks like a near tail strike! Whats the trick? Normal landing with flaps 30 and fully stable at at least 1000ft at vref +20kts ususally on the ILS... Any tips please :-D Cheers Rusty

Is it possible to have customized instrumentation setup? I would really like to be able to have fx "Captains Fire button" followed by "Captains Master caution button", then the failure information, after that "speed brake info", then "flap settings information" etc. all the informations until the "FO Master caution and Fire buttons". I would like to have these as real PMDG instruments (which I don't think is available with fx project magenta) and have them low in the outside display. Is it possible after PMDG have made SDK available and if it is possible, then how to do it? I have a 27'' widescreen for outside view and an 19'' non-widescreen monitor for FO instrum…

Upon loading a saved 737 NG situation, is it possible to import the PMDG loaded route into the EFB? In the Select Route tab in EFB, it shows only the FSX *.pln, but none of the PMDG route formats, and I'm wondering if these PMDG files can be directly read in. Thanks! Rushad E.

I have done three flights with my 737NGX, and on two of them I have had problem with authrottle. When I engage autothrottle and speed button below it doesn't follow speed I have set on MCP panel, but instead it just keeps accelerating to around 320 knots no matter what I do. It seems to be related to FMC somehow, on CLB / CRZ page on FMC it shows target speed as 320 knots and I can't change that. Target speed seems to be growing higher while aircraft accelerates, and when it finally reaches 320 knots it stops growing. Then target speed will start to decrease to around 290 knots and throttle power goes lower again until target speed starts to grow again. Also I get Buf…

Hey guys, i was wondering if there is a painter out there that can do a special request for me. Since I fly in South America a lot, I'd like to request two liveries from Peru. hi, i have bought a new computer and the 737 NGX the installation is poping up saying it is unable to install because it cannot find fsx.exe (which is on a slave drive) readme suggests i have to navigate setup manually to the file but does say how! can some kind person tell me how? thanks

Hello all I've been flying the NGX for few months now, and loving it. I have been flying it in windowed mode, as with other aircrafts on FSX. Believe it or not – I just didn’t know about the full screen mode. Recently, I discovered it and found out that my frame rate is much better on it. The problem beguines when I try to get into the display settings, or save window, or anything that require the screen to reload. Many times I get black screens or missing textures, or even CTD. i've been looking for answers on the web - no good.. Sounds familiar to anybody? Thanks Giora Ivshin

Is it possible to assign keystrokes (and then a pushbutton via FSUIPC) to the individual door controls shown in the FMC? Any maybe even some of the ground actions like wheel choke and ground power, etc...? I'd like to build a little panel for GSX & ground operations. I tried doing Shift+E+2,3,4,5, etc..... but they weren't working for me for the doors. Should they?

I have worked through tutorial #2 up to the point of taxi to runway 24. I saved a flight after engine start with everything ready to taxi. As I start to taxi the indicator light for speedbrake armed comes on and causes the Auto throttle arm switch to go off and I get the A/T warn light on and master caution light on. I have checked the speedbrakes lever - it is down and locked and outside there are no speedbrakes up. However I can not get the light to go out even after cycling the speedbrake lever and then back to locked position and the auto throttle still won't engage. Every time I try to move the switch to armed it stays off and turns on the A/T warn light again. …

Hi, The TCAS test passed. FMC default setting for the TA on the ND are as follows :- 3nm range is ON Show All/Filter Filter Range 40nm Alt Seperation 2800ft. But I don't hear any TA/RA sounds in the cockpit. Does the traffic need to be within the 3nm range to hear any sound? what's going on? Yesterday I was set up for an land 3 approach to EKCH, LAND 3 was annunciated, then about 1000ft AGL autopilot disengaged. I tried to figure out why it did it but im not sure. Could someone tell me the criteria for LAND 3 disconnect on fail op 738? Does it disconnect if I inadverently push the trim knob (I have set my elevator trim up&down to buttons on my flight sim yoke)? Im not sure if I maybe accidentaly pressed one of these. One thing I was considering is the turbulence effect. I have AS2012 and no turbulence supression on anywhere (FSUIPC, FSX menu or fsx.cfg) as I have never had problems before with S-turn issues. Could anyone direct me to a profile for the NGX for fsbuild. I found one using the search function, but it doesn't seem to show up in my FSBUILD, something about a missing .TOLD/TOD file. If there is not profile for the NGX, does anyone know how to predict when you would do a step climb? I know for the 747, they have fuel burn tables which makes it quite easy to guess when you would, but I was wondering if there is a work around with the PMDG using FSBUILD or calculations.

Currently in the vicinity of the SLIDR fix descending on the EAGUL5 STAR into KPHX on an actual 737-700. (SWA1258 from KDTW-KPHX) We're equipped with wifi and in-flight internet, which I still think is the coolest thing ever hehe. Flightaware says we're a -300 for some reason but that's wrong, I'm looking at the wing right now and we're definitely a 700.

Due to a hard drive failure, I have had to reinstall FSX and all my addons. I used to load the NGX with the engines running (yeah I know it's not realistic, but I only have precious time available to sim), but now notice that choosing any of the load states has no effect (engines are off). I have tried loading other aircraft with engines running, then loading the NGX, but to no avail. I figure I will have to reinstall again, but hope there is an easy fix?? Thanks! Win 7 64-bit and the NGX patched to the latest version.

Hi, I wanted clarity o how to use the MINS knob with the two options Radio and Baro. 1) Assume that I am landing at VIDP Delhi whose runway 10 is 719 msl. If I am executing an ILS landing, do I set the Radio as 919 OR do I set the Baro as 200? How does this work 2) Does one use the MINS only during landings exclusively? I have maintenance based failures on. After getting to my first 250 hour check point, I clicked on "service all". That reset the hours for every piece of equipment though even though I went through most of them and many were nowhere near needing service yet. So everything got reset like I just purchased the plane which I did not want to happen. So as I approach again the 250 hour check, what is the correct procedure to follow? I don't want to hit the service all button again. Am I supposed to page through the systems and find the one that reached the 250 hour check point?
