HiI can't save a flight or panel state with the Airstairs deployed, when I reload a saved flight or panel state the stairs are always stowed again.Anyone know if this should work or am I doing something wrong ?

First of all, I totally apologize if this is in the wrong section. I'm in the process of building just panels that would let me control the EFIS and MCP via buttons and encoders. I ordered a couple of button input devices from Leo Bodnar that should do the trick combined with FSUIPC and Macros and key assignments. I think I got that part pretty figured out. Unless someone has better suggestion. But in a quick run down, I'll be wiring up the buttons and encoders to the input device and programming them via FSUIPC. I however would LOVE to have a multiple monitor system (I already have 2 monitors hooked up). On the extra monitor, I would like to show just the FD …

Hi, There's a confusing situation for me while trying to program the FMC to let the bird fly an approach. Probably it's just me doing it all wrong.. So maybe you guys can help me out a little bit. After I program all the waypoints the plane has to fly to I want to let it fly an approach automatically so I don't have to fly it manually and look for the runway myself. Then I push the departure/arrival button on the FMC, and select the ILS for the runway I want to land on. The result of that action that a "route discontinuity" appears after the last waypoint and then I have to fly the approach manually to finally line up with the runway. What am I doing wrong? Almost every time I'm flying in FSX with the NGX white screen appears and the message (Flight Simulator X is not responding) The odd thing is that after 10 minutes when he returns to normal operation, the team PMDG someone can help me please. Hi, I was following tutorial 1 for the PMDG 737-800 NGX allong nicely, and have parked the aircraft at a gate at EHAM. I just started going through the list for the secure procedure, and switched the APU off. Although there was no warning of this in the tutorial PDF, an alarm started sounding. No red or yellow lights appeared (next to the red fire button on the annunciator panel) and I couldn't switch the alarm off that way. Suddenly FSX gave a "Fatal error" prompt and exited the sim without anything that I could do. Is the alarm related to switching off the APU? I Haven't been on this forum in such a long time but I'm trying to find a link rsrandazzo posted a while back. It was a update to all the navagation data in FSX, it corrected some points that were off by miles. I can't find anything about this anywhere because I forget what it was called but it was a major FSX update and I wish I could remember what it was. If anybody here knows what I'm talking about help me out!

Hi together, I know I have already read here about the issue, described in my topic, but i didn't found a solution for that. Hello, I was trying to setup a flight plan from KAUS to KSAT on my PMDG 737 NGX FMC. I chose runway 35L AUS3 SID. I chose STV (stonewall) for the transition option in AUS3 SID. For the arrival section in KSAT, I wanted ILS 12R, STV (STAR), REUBE (Transition). I wanted to use CWK. AMUSE. STV. STV1. REUBE. ALAMO . RUNWAY12R for my route. No matter what I tried , I would end up with an FMC RTE with an initial heading vector from KAUS followed by CWK.AMUSE.STV.STV1.REUBE and the rest of the route to 12R. I had both LNAV and RNAV armed and at 600ft enabled CMDA to turn on the autopilot. However the aircraft just keeps flying on the initial vector in my flight plan.…

Hi. i had a engine failure today out miles out to sea, i thought i would make the best and follow real world procedures, after trying and trying to get eng 2 back on line i could not (having turned back) i decided to cut my loses and do a fuel dump to save wait, and up my chances of getting back to the airport, but did could not find out how. so i had to use the fmc fuel manager and select how much fuel i wanted left. please help

Hello gents. Just a quick question; Previous to the other day when i was messinig around in the FSX Folder, when i clicked on the FMC >> PMDG SETUP >> STATE LOAD, I had all of my autosave flights and CLD and DRK etc, However, when i was messing around i must of moved a file or deleted by accident, and now i have nothing on the screen when i try and load cold and dark, Also when i try and save a panel it does nothing and nothing saves, any ideas what i have moved/deleted? Recently I replaced my aged CH gear by Saitek yoke and peddals and now I do have problems when loading a stored flight (any!) with my PMDG 737-xxx. Each time afer loading, the rudder is fully deflected to the right and does not react at all to any command. If I'm loading it by creating a new flight, there is no problem at all, the problem returns when I reload it the next time. Of course everything works fine when changing to any other aircraft. And yes, I did load the latest Saitek drivers. I furthermore tried it out with and without the programming software package, there is no change. Yoke and all other functions are working without problems. Probably I missed …

G'day Ladies and Gents, First up it is entirely possible I am completely confused here, and its also possible that this is a question for Navigraph. If so let me know. I have been training using the VOZ 738 by flying the RNAV (GNSS) 32 approach into Hamilton Island (YBHM) using the chart data from Airservices Australia (http://www.airservic...BHMGN02-130.pdf) [i would post a picture of that plate but I think that is against copywrite]. This approach requires flight at a 10 degree offset from the runway (heading 304o) from the IAF (BHMSI @ 3900') to the FAF (BHMSF @ 2410'). So far so good. Do someone experience sound delay (wind sound) when switching between windows? I run FSX in window mode, because I need to take a look at the charts. And when I open a chart, which is PDF i still hear the wind from FSX for 1-2 sec and then it stops. The same is when minimize the PDF file and return to FSX window I hear the engines but not the wind and electronic in the cockpit for 1-2 seconds.

Some time ago i asked how to save a flight with NGX and it was kinda accepted that saving flights was a bit hit and miss, meaning you can never be sure your FMC data will save properly or all the MCP etc. settings would save. This i find true in a lot of cases when i have the need to save a flight. However, i never thought of it before, but all of the Tutorial saved flights that PMDG have made (EHAM - LOWI) are all bang on with all of the FMC and MCP settings as they should be. How did PMDG do that? Regards,

Hi all, just a quick question for you. I have already purchased the original base package 800/900 for FSX. Running the latest service pack. If i purchase the 600/700 expansion, does it just install over the top of the base package. And if so, will i need to reinstall any updates and liveries to my current package. Thanks for the info. Was reading an article today about the A380 and about a feature it has where when they test the flight controls before takeoff they have a feature so that when they test the rudder the nose wheel doesn't turn to help prevent it being damaged. Is this the case on the 737-800 also or when they test the rudder does the nose wheel turn? Kind Regards, Dan

Friends, I just finished my happy purchase , install 737 NGX and surprise: in 2D main painel view, where is the link to have a the engine pedestal ? I´m getting crazy looking for it :( !! In the manual I find 9 points (links) to have this but none of then lead me to the engine pedestal that I have only open a new window by "FS menu" or using the 3D cockpit. Something is missed ? Tks in advance for any help Marcos

I'm working my way through the Introduction Manual for the 737 and have noted the best start up scenario is the Ultralight over Friday Harbor (the FSX default start up). From there the manual says you can load a flight using the 737. My question is, do you/should you actually hit "Fly Now" with the Trike and THEN load your 737 and location for your flight, or is it enough to simply have the Trike over Friday Harbor as the start but you don't have to actually go right into that flight before you start setting up your own scenario (I'm not sure how much initialization of FS' systems is done at the initial start up screen)? Dear PMDG Team, there are quite a few issues I have with the NGX, however they are not worth the talk right now. But there is one specific limitation in the NGX, that bothers me. The first time I flew the 800, I ended up calculating my whole takeoff performance data a second time from the beginning bacause of the seat limitation in the payload page of the FMC. Since I mostly fly in Europe, most of the airlines like Ryanair, Airberlin, Ukraine International etc. have about 180+ seats in their 800's.
