    Hi captains, I've been borrowing a GTX 580 from my friend for a while and now he wants it back, so now I will actually have to buy a new card. I was looking into a GTX 680 initially, but as a 17 year old it's currently out of my budget. So then I looked at the GTX 670, and found that a factory overclocked GTX 670 performs identical to a "vanilla" GTX 680, however, the GTX 670 is cheaper and fits into my budget. The reason why I posted this specifically in the 737NGX forum, is because several people were reporting stuttering with the GTX 680, only in the NGX.     Hi, I have one question, in my 737 NGX 2d cockpit view, the external scenery view shows very low, using ctrl + shift + q I can up de view but when switching to VC view and return to 2d, again I have to press ctrl + shift + q to adjust de point of view, exist one form to correct that? thanks for your help.

    Hey guys, I'm familiar with the DUAL BLEED annunciator above the pneumatics panel when the APU bleed air valve is open and the position of the engine bleed and isolation valve switches allow for the possibility of back pressure on the APU, however I don't seem to get the behaviour I expect when running the engines in dual bleed. I've heard that increasing thrust beyond idle under dual bleed conditions can cause the APU to stall and overheat, resulting in an automatic shut down. I tried this with full thrust; the APU didn't bat an eyelid and the EGT gauge remained at 425 Celsius. Is this behaviour modelled in the NGX, or is this not an IRL issue? All the b…

    Hi all! I own the redux lights package and have been a big fan of the ngx for many months now but without daring touching the aircraft config as I am too happy as it is. I do love the look the redux lights have on my other airplanes and I think the ngx's lighting could be improved. Has anybody tried it on? If yes, what entries did you make in the config file? And more importantly, do the taxi lights behave as normal? (i.e. Turn off when gear retracted, no phantom lights globes bobbing around the plane) and is it worth pursuing? I am very looking forward to any answers as I am deciding whether to try it on or not. Thanks in advance

That's not how much it costs on the AOA web site - I subscribed as soon as AOA announced they'd be making the training videos. dan "lensman" davison p.s.     Hi everyone, recently I developed a question on the V-Speeds, especially V1, as it is calculated on the NGX. So far I was unable to find a quick answer. Perhaps some of you know it or can point the finger to where I can find it. During flight preparation V1 is calculated and displayed in the FMC. To my surprise, however, they don't seem do change with the available runway length that is entered on the same page the speeds are displayed. Until now, I was under the impression that V1 is dependend on the runway length. To form a proper question: How does the available RWY length affect the calculated and displayed V1-Speed at the NGX?     On one of my PMDG 737NGX planes I have two buttons on my joystick mapped to operate the trim wheel but for the life of me I can't remember how I mapped them. I have checked that they are not mapped through FSX (it only works on one 737NGX anyway), nor are they mapped through FSUIPC and I can't see an option via the FMC, can anyone offer a solution? I changed things like 'callouts at 400 feet, 200 feet etc' in the FMC at equipments / EGPWS section, because I would love to hear the callouts continously during landing (as far as i remember callouts are activated for 100 and 500 feet by default [not 40,30,20,10]..... On the other hand I changed the 'panel state load' to cold and dark, BUT nothing.... Whenever I load in the NGX everything starts from the default....   13. Can anyone help. PMDG 737 NGX had been working fine until drive C: crashed. Having installed a new 24o GB SSD drive as drive C: and a 1TB standard hard drive as drive D and installing Windows 7 on drive C: and FSX on drive D. Then continuing to install PMDG 737 NGX (Boxed version) on to drive D., On starting FSX and selecting the PMDG 800 winglet model as per Tutorial 1, the cockpit is completely dead, no click point work and the FMC is blank when it should be displaying the menu screen. Help what has gone wrng.

    So I decided to get trackir with the regular vector clip, it arrived today and I've been trying to set it up this afternoon. I have had some frustration though, as trackir seems to put the view right on the cockpit window. I have tried zooming out within fsx but still if I want to see the instruments I have to look down and it strains my eyes. I'm not sat right up on the sensor, I'm sat a good 60cm away, and have it all aligned and centred properly, but when I look forward at centre I cans see out of the window and mastercaution/fire but as I said to see the instruments I have to look down and this is annoying especially on takeoff and landing.     This may sound a strange one guys, so apologies if it has been answered already. Search the manuals loaded when I installed the NGX, 800/900 and 600/700. Searched Cargo, Doors and Luggage found nothing related. Searched the forums for the same, found bits and pieces, but again nothing directly related. Are these doors able to open, and if so, how do I manage it? The Doors page in the FMC has Front, Mid (overwing) and Rear doors, that's all. Maybe it's the livery I'm using, so in case that's it, I'm using the Air New Zealand pmdg_737ngx_700wl_jkx_anz300.zip by John O'Duffy found here in the library.     Hi guys, Not flown the 737NGX in a few months so thought ill do some Amercican Airlines routes. Problem is the brakes don't do anything, took the full length of a 12,000ft runway to stop. Any ideas? I looked at failures and it says non are active so im clueless, any ideas?

    I have FSPassengers and I have made B737 BBJ.ini file for PMDG 737-800 and was wondering if the range would increase because the plane has fewer passengers and cargo onboard. In real life BBJ range is around 5000nm. I know PMDG is going to make BBJ version after 777 but I was just wondering if it is possible. I am going to test fly it but I just want your opinion.

  20. On Windows 7 64 bit I have FSX Deluxe with SP2 applied, I have no addons or scenery packs installed, its all clean except for the UIAutomationcore.dll fix. I've been running FSX without issues for a year or so and decided to finally pick up the 737 NGX from PMDG's website. It installed fine, looks awesome, and I have no issues with performance or anything (I went through the docs and used all their recommended settings). My system is a 2.2Ghz i7 2670QM, 8gigs of ram, video is an NVIDIA GTX 580M with 2gigs of VRAM. NVIDIA driver version is 296.1 (The latest beta drivers do not help the issue).     How do I set my minimum's to 12,500 ft on the baro mins knob quickely? I end up scrolling with the mouse for ages getting a stiff hand from scrolling too long. Any short cuts or tricks here? The mins are high for VQPR with rwy elevation of 7333ft.
