    Hi, I've started regularly flying the Alaska airlines anchorage, juneau, sitka, ketchican, seattle route and was wondering about fuel planning in general for multiple destinations. If you fly to a single destination you include the ground time, holding, go arounds, extra and alternate but would you do the same for 'each' of the destinations on a multiple route ? I'm guessing that all the alternates would'nt be catered for but the rest would. Any experience on this ? Simon

    Downloaded and installed "Lauda Air" from the pmdg. Run FSX and the a/c. Open FMC->press menu->press setup->select aircraft, and at the top it don't show as it should be. It must be OE-LNK, but it shows G-VABA. Any Help?

    Hi there, I had originally posted 100 questions topic because I was very lost. Starting to get the hang of this beast but I do have a few more quick questions. 1. Procedure with RNAV and no ILS... When you're about to land you disconnect the Autopilot obviously, how about the throttle. Is the correct procedure to turn it off or is there a way to set 5 above reference speed during the RNAV approach? Just wondering because when I've tried it a few times previously to use the Autothrottle all the simulation does is speed up the engines to keep me from landing.     Hi all, just a quick question. I was perorming (or trying to perform) an autoland at Linate (LIML) and couldn't engage the second A/P on landing to enabke the autoland. Now I know this topic has been discussed over and over again but what happened twice still puzzles me. The approach from the south at LIML gets you lined up with rwy36 crossing DIXER about 20 nm out. The vor/loc is alive straight away but the gs interception occurs about 9nm out. I tried to activate CMD B immediatelly after the APP changes from ARM to ACT but with no results (it just disconnects the other a/P). Now I know this is usual when the engagement of the second A/P is not done correctly, but I don…

    Hi guys, I created a thread about a week ago asking what ENB's people used here and a user replied saying he had found one that was good during the day and not too dark in the cockpit at night.     Pretty new to the idea of flying a complex airliner. I mean I've done the default airliners and stuff but when it comes to all these new operations and the FMC I'm a little confused. If anyone can help with some of these questions: 1. MINS with Radio and Baro... I just don't understand where I get the numbers and what it does. 2. Altitude on the MCP...     Hey! I found a switch on my NGX which I have no idea what it is for! Its in the back of the Overhead panel and says "Cockpit Video Sys". What would this thing do in the real 737? (I know this is not a support question but I didn't know an other place to ask!) Thanks, counter!

    I was on a flight to BIKF last night and decided to select a hydraulic system A failure and run through the QRH. Just for something to do! I noted that such a failure stops the gear from working and necessitates employment of alternate gear. From researching the forum, I noted that the NGX doesn't model alternate gear so I thought that I wouldn't be able to lower the landing gear at all. However, the landing gear lowered just fine with a hydraulic system A failure. So my question is: does the hydraulic system A failure have any consequences which are modelled for the NGX?   12. Hello; This example relates to Coffs Harbour, NSW, Australia. VOR RWY 21 Approach. The chart indicates runway alignment at 222 degrees. In addition to the to VOR, the airport also has an NDB that matches the position of the VOR. Aligning the VOR and NDB at 222 degrees beings the aircraft into visual contact with runway 21, however, the aircraft is always to the left of the runway alignment. I realize VORs are non precision, but I am wondering if this is normal? Does the off centre arrival indicate that the VOR is to the left of the runway?     I was on a 737 as a passenger a couple of weeks ago and I was trying to correlate the dips in power (On the ground at the gate) with different equipment such as switching from Ground Power to the APU and so on. When a aircraft pulls up to the gate and the Marshall gives the pilot the wand across his neck which I assume means secure the engines does the pilot wait for ground power to be hooked up and then switch over before securing his engines or does he turn on his APU after landing then kill the engines at the gate and wait to secure the APU when ground power is hooked up or does the pilot secure the engines/APU and stay on battery until the ground crew can hook up the …

  17. Hello Fellow Flight Simmers, When trying to add Victor Airways or Jet Airways to my flightplans I keep getting a message on the CDU that says "Not in Data Base". The Airways that I'm trying to select are visible on the Flight Simulator map view page. The only one I've ever successfully is UL620 from PMDG 737NGX Totutorial 1. I have installed PMDG's 737-800/900 NGX Base Package SP1c but still, no luck. When I first click on "FMC" on the CDU (Left), I do get a message on the CDU that says "NAV DATA out of date".   21. Hi PMDG dev team and others, I was wondering if PMDG is still working on the Shared cockpit feature for the NGX ? Near one year before, they say it'll come with the SP1. We're now at SP1c and no news about that. A lot of IVAO & AVSIM pilots really wait such a feature ! Thank you in advance ( and continue making good work on the T7 )

    Hey guys, I am currently in the cruise on the way to chambery airport, never been here before. The rwy in use is 36 which is a circle to land approach, as fas as I am aware you intercept the loc for runway 18 first and then circle to land rwy 36 but I have no idea how to programme this into the FMC.     Hi, I have a problem with the 737NGX Sp1c, if you select from the menu `Start the 737NGX at the start when the program executes the 737NGX Setup 20 Sec. FSX Crashes and close the program FSX. In order to use the 737NGX, I Select the C172 and start FSX. when I turn off engine and Panel of C172, i select the menu for Fsx----> Aicraft----> 737NGX and everything works Well. . I have another problem with 737NGX, sometimes On Line IVAO, and only to Descend or Approach, Fsx Crashes and close the program. Maybe be the same problem or some other problem causing this error Fsx?
