PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi all, I'm new to the NGX. I have an issue with the FMC that is recurring. During the flight, LSKs seem to stop working. In two different flights, I wasn't able to make a direct-to. I put the waypoint I want to fly to into the scratchpad, and when I press LSK1L nothing happened. I did the same some minute BEFORE, and everything was ok.... Today, I had same problem approching LOWI (tutorial # 2). When I had to switch to rwy 8, the corresponding LSK didn't work. I can still navigate through the FMC menu, but LSK are not working. Hi guys, On some runways I'm on a perfect ILS approach (according to FMC) but when I look out of the window the runway is a little more to the left/right. Anyone else have this problem? And better: a solution/trick? :) Thanks in advance!

I want to start a flight "dark and cold" but when i load the 737NGX, it starts up all ready to fly... how can i change this?

He Guys, is it possible to change the Aircraft cfg so the result is a longer range for the BBJ? for the PMDG 737 FS9 there was that this would be possible for the NGX? only one would have to pay higher fuel values ​​and change the weight ( MTOW )right? Is it possible to brighten my taxi light on the ngx? The landing lights are fine it's just on a night because I use an ENB mod the taxi light doesn't illuminate the ground at all so I am struggling to see the taxi markings. Kind Regards, Dan

Hi, I just wanted to thank the PMDG developers for another great product. I bought the 737NGX last week, and I'm loving it so far. You've set the bar pretty high for realism and quality. It's the first sim product I've owned where I haven't run into several issues or bugs. For years, I put off learning how to fly virtual jets for years, but your tutorials have helped me learn the process in a way that's easy to understand. If I want to dive into it deeper, I have plenty of information to keep me busy for several more years! Hi, don't know if anyone else has come across this problem, but sometimes my right IRS will not align. The DC On light stays on when the align light flashes and I get a peculiar noise as if the IRS is trying to align but has a fault. This happens quite often now. As a beginner on this fantastic aircraft, I haven't had time to read the manuals in depth, so if anyone can help, I'd be grateful as it stops me from doing a C & D start. Many thanks

Been busy wiht other stuff for some time plus a HD crash issue. But now back. Windows reinstalled and so is FSX and PMDG 737 NGX. Kind of a new start for me. But fun as h*ll. Did a search but couldn't find any posts on this topic: Is it possible to save a flight in mid air, and restart it at a later time? If I'm on a lengthy flight, and suddenly need to leave for a couple of days, can I just save it and restart from the exact point and settings where I aborted. And if so - how is this done. Is it possible in FSX? In NGX? Or maybe an add on? I do have FSUIPC full version. Other than that no add on's so far. Thx in advance!

I've been lately getting some random mini-freezes while flying. Nothing seriously impacting my use of FSX or the NGX, but it's pretty annoying. Almost rhythmically every couple minutes, the program will freeze for a second or two, then pick up where it should be, causing a slight gap in being able to use the program. This has also just started happening recently, not sure what I changed to make it start doing that, but if anyone has any advice as to how to attempt to fix this issue, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Hey guys, This has been happening to me a bit lately. At night time in FSX, in a few aircraft, but notably always the NGX, I get this weird effect on my VC gauges that happens seemingly for no reason. It also does something similar to the 2D panel, but only the aft overhead when I click on a switch (e.g. switching the IRS' to align or nav etc.) I've tried updating nVidia drivers etc but that hasn't fixed it at all. Happen on my old computer too, which was an ATI graphics card, so I don't think that has anything to do with it. Any ideas? Cheers

I guess this question could apply to any AC which uses a FMC on flight sim. But I am enjoying flying the PMDG at the moment and am unlikley to fly anything else for a very long time. Speaking generally about SIDs from different airports. Sometimes the altitude on the legs page of SIDs seem different (or contradict) to what the departure chart is saying . For example the plate is saying 2500f or above at 8DME, but in the legs page it says 4000f at 8NMs. Should we be tweaking the altitude, in the legs page? I would like to hand fly the first 2000f more, instead of hitting the A/P, in the past when trying to hand fly, hadn't noticed that the FD was misleading …

I have been using 737NGX for last 6months, For example OMDB on landing I set the pressure to QNH 0998 as per the Vrtoute date But when I check with PFD/ and information Via Fsinn the pressure show as QNH1013 When try to land after pressure selector B some time the landing is hard or above the RWY How to set this correctly Thanks Sunil

Hi, All! I have a coupla question re the APU: 1. Need to click to 'start' a few times for the fault light to go - tried moving the middle APU bleed switch to reset, then back down. Eventually, it bites, but takes a few attempts. 2. So to practice the shutdown procedure, im start from C&D, then shutting down. But again, the APU wont start. APU Bleed is on, flick the switch to Start. Low Oil Pressure and Fault is on. Cant get it to fire at all. All failures are off. 3. Also, once the engines are on, how long should the APU take (the EGT dial by the APU switch) to go to zero? Is it linked to the Packs at all? 4. Is that dial the only way to monitor th…

Ok, so I have owned the PMDG 737 for about a month now, and everything was great until about a week ago, when suddenly it wasn't. A lot. There are two major reasons for this: 1) My panel states have stopped saving when I save in fsx (using the ; key type save). This is a major problem as I load my flight and suddenly I am in an aircraft with no FMC flight plan, no autopilot and an IRS which is crying softly to itself. The aircraft initialises, and the engines are on etc., but the FMC is unprogrammed and the pressurisation panel is reset to 10,000ft. hey guys,i have a realy Serious problem with descends and climbs: asume i'm in FL220 and there is an altitude CNSTR at waypoint ABC,FL200,asume control told me to decend to FL 100,before wypoint ABC,if i wanted to hold automaticly FMC SPD and FMC VS in my descend and PAYing attention to ALT CNSTR(i mean is decend to FL 200,after ABC,continue his descend automaticly to FL120)what i have to do?(and the same story about climbing like this) Thank you realy so much for reading and answering!

Folks Let me start by saying that i use legal copy of the plane (since i read that such event happened to users of pirated software) Unfortunately two times when loading from COLD and DARK (the original) i saw flows in the cockpit, this only happened twice and not once when starting from the demo flights any explanation ? Hi all. I'm a new user of the NGX. Everything is ok but the sounds. I just and always hear a countinous noise that "covers" all other sounds like engines, switches, call-outs and so on. I'll try to be more precise. - I hear the noise even in cold & dark state. (For instance, loading the saved flight of the PMDG tutorial # 2) - no way to disable it or reduce it: if I change settings in CDU's SOUND page, nothing happens - The SOUND Options in the Sim are all at 50%, in the CDU's SOUND page their are all at 100% - some kind of sounds (engines and GPWS call-outs) are very low, some other (switches and other like the yellow knob on the yoke checklist) are totally mi…

Hi everyone, I have the NGX since day one and absolutely love it. I also have a very good respected 737 addon that I've got before the release of the NGX, and happened today to do some flying with it and compared it to my NGX at the same place, condition, weather, altitude..etc and found out that NGX descent Idle was about 39-37% vs 27% on my other add on. something is not right, the difference can't be that big. I posted for some help regarding my PMDG NGX software a couple of days ago, and during the past two days that I have actually been getting help from the PMDG crew, it seems like my topic got locked within 24 hours of my original post, before I even had a chance to reply to it after someone asked for some validation. Not sure why exactly that is, but you can rest assured that I paid for my software, and am getting assistance from the technical staff.. It hasn't been totally resolved yet although it is definitely related to an activation issue, and I think I am going down the road of having to reinstall FSX altogether. I'm not sure yet. After selecting the PMDG livery manager on my computer, the two subwindows: Select livery to install and remove selected livery are very fuzzy and unable to read, when I click on the : select livery to install, a window states that PMDG LIVERY MANAGER EXE has stopped working, this has happen five times and have not been able to use the livery manager. Hi Guys, I've flown the NGX since it's release, and have had no issue with ILS approaches. In the last two weeks, I've had three issues where the LOC and GS don't capture. Everything appears normal, and I get the indicators on the ND for lateral and vertical guidance, but the plane does not capture. I don't think it's a problem with the NGX, as other airports have worked, but I'm not sure. The runways in question are both default airports: KSMF 16L, 16R KBUF 23 Has anyone had this issue at these airports or others? AFCAD issue? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, John
