  2. I don't have a screen grab to show it but i've noticed a straight dotted line running through both PFD's inboard (navigation) display. I had not remembered this showing up before and was not sure on how or why it was there. After some knob turning and investigation, i found that it is representing the course heading on the "Co-pilots side" of the Collins MCP. When i turn the course knob on the co-pilots side, the dotted line turns to indicate the corisponding direction. This does not happen with the Pilot side Course knob is turned...Is this normal? I just don't remember seeing this before Thanks for your help on this! Don

    Great program and highly addicting! I purchased the NGX July 15th, flying domestic USA and BDA and havent had any problems up until now. I flew KIAH-SEQU yesterday without any problems. This morning I noticed on the ground after setting my FLT PLN FUEL etc... from SEQU-KIAH that FMC was giving me inaccurate times. So maybe I thought it would stabilize while inflight in CRZ. Well, it didn't. Every "time" portion of the FMC (format XX(Hours):XX(Mins)) was fluctuating intermittently. I shot a video to better describe the problem. You can see the HRLY portion of just going bat crazy but the MIN is sustained inaccurately. I've tried resetting the FMC and reloaded the FLT PL…

    Good day all. A week ago I noticed that I cannot engage the autopilot. Before departure I arm VNAV and LNAV and before takeoff roll I increase thrust to 40% N1 and hit TOGA, at that moment both VNAV and LNAV disengage for some reason (it never happened before). I am able to re-engage them again on takeoff roll or after lift off but autopilot won't engage whatever I try. I have to hand flying all the way. I use FS2crew as well, not sure if there is any relation between this issue and FS2crew. I cannot figure out what am I doing wrong or what causing the problem. Thank you.

  9. Everything went fine in the past months, but today, I load my -700 and noticed that on every control input the frame rate drops about 20-25fps. Without any input the frame rate is fine (around 45-50), but when I move the stick it drops... :( I use X52 for years with no problem till today. Does anyone have the same satuation?

  10. I've tried looking everywhere to find the solution to my problem with no luck. I have adjusted all my settings to what the most common senerior is that I have seen which is 25% overall sound on the FMC, 50% all sound in FSX except for ATC/Voice. The problem is, while on the ground, everything sounds perfect. Once the wheels start rolling the wind sound starts and as I go faster and higher it gets louder and more present, expected. What is not expected, is that fact that it gets so loud that it drowns out all other sound including ATC. I have tried every type of adjustment I can think of and now I'm asking for help.

    Hey my computer is about 3 days old (8 GB RAM @ 1600mhz, GTX 570, i7 2700K @ 3,5ghz). My first addon was REX (yesterday) and all was fine. 60 fps stable(target fps set to 60) at Arlanda (ESSA) with default scenery. Today i finally bought the NGX, same settings and location as above just add the NGX, im getting around 20 fps while taxing around, 25 fps on the runway and 30 in the air. My question is now; is a 40 fps drop NORMAL for just adding the NGX? I have no airport scenerys what so ever just the REXE + NGX. All sliders are set to Ultra high (car traffic 20%). Im going to change that but still, 40 fps drop for just the NGX? Ive read somewhere the NGX is suppose…

However I was informed at Staples that because the document says "Do not reproduce" at the bottom of each page. Is this the intention of this statement?     Hi More and more major airports offer these days RNAV approach in thier instrumental approach charts. I think a RNAV approach is defined as an non precision instrumental approach based on inboard navigational systems. ENGM is one of these airports offering RNAV (GNSS) RWY for 19 R. According to an email I received from ENGM airport staff (Avinor) RNAV (GNSS) RWY 19 R is still without vertical guidance. The RNAV is certified for LNAV only. I know VNAV can work in PMDG product but I would love to perform a real life approach not using VNAV. Can this be done on PMDG 737 using LNAV/VNAV down to FAF and then (CDA) Continuous Descent Angle by V/S down to MAPt. And would th…

    Hello Captains, I'm going to start flying from airport A to airport B and then flying back to airport A. Ok, aircraft is parked, deboarding is completed, engines are off, APU is running, SHUTDOWN checklist is complete. Now I'm going to prepare my aircraft to fly back to airport A. Should I do both SHUTDOWN and SECURE checklists? I don't want to turn off IRS and APU because I'm going to get some fuel and fly back. So should I do SHUTDOWN checklist, take some fuel and start Normal Procedures from Preliminary Preflight Procedure position? Have I to realign IRS when going to fly back? Please give me some info what real pilots do in such "short turns". All best!

    I have recently been having issues with the autothrottle on the 737-700. After about 10,000 feet the autothrottle stops working and doesn't increase or even maintain speed. It drops my engines to about 88% which slowly drains my speed and unless I manually increase the throttle I will eventually stall. I think it has something to do with my N1 Limit setting in my FMC, but since the FMC is still kind of new to me I'm not completely sure if that is the problem and if it is how to fix it. I have double checked that my A/T is armed, Speed Hold set to .73 mach and is on, Autopilot is on, flaps are all the way up, and Speed Brake is off. Any help would be much appreciated as I …

Also due to SDK limits, display is not implemented, and LSK keys are moved for space. Button function is implemented, and if button is pressed function onImageMapClicked is called with parameter of button ID. Any thing or action is free, but please credit me. Thanks!   20. Hey all, I have a question regarding the stabilizer trim settings, and the differences between the -700 and the -800. When I fly the -700 with the trim setting per the CDU I generally don't need to give a lot of elevator input to accelerate after take off. When I fly the -800 with the trim setting per the CDU, I need to give almost full down elevator deflection and then add a significant amount of down trim to accelerate. Is this the correct behavior? Part of me thinks the answer(s) are: 1.) The -700 is an apple, the -800 is an orange, therefore you are comparing apples to oranges. 2.) You are doing it wrong.     Sirs: I have a small problem with an installation message, It's something that's been bothering me for quite sometime. I purchased this product about a year ago, from Download.     Last Friday I did fly 60 minutes in a real 737-800 NGX static simulator at Schiphol Airport Amsterdam. From EHAM to EHRD and EHRD to EBBR. AND I DID IT ALL !!!! (Well, not from Cold & Dark. Takes too much time). Programming the FMC with the CDU is thrilling. Just reaching out to the right buttons and switches (well almost) gives you an almighty feeling. It was really a very exciting experience, I can tell you. I noticed some differences with the PMDG and something I did not know. 1. PMDG has no trim button.
