Hi Guys, I have just uploaded my second NGX video. [Really quite proud of this one]. Some will like it some may find it dry and boring, but this really showcases beautiful dusk textures, with heavy cloud and lovely lighting. Hi I am knew to PMDG 737 and I hope someone can help me. I recently bought PMDG 737 NGX for FSX including the 600/700 extension I think I may have made an error when asked to authenticate and put the 600/700 key in by mistake for the 800/900. (both keys came in the same email) I think I made this error as every time I entered the 737 i had to re autenticate it The sim runs fine until I end a flight when ¾ times I get FSX fatal error. (I have attached the error log at the end of this email). Hello, I have a doubt with the COST INDEX B737NGX, that I can not solve. The Cost Index is 20-25 standard for B737, but when I set up the aircraft with a weight (about 125.000Lb Gw) and put the Cost Index of 25, the field TRIP gets a very low altitude. I am new to the 737 NGX and it is a great aircraft but I have one issue with it. For some reason I can only push buttons one way through the whole cockpit. For example, on the MCP, I can only turn the knobs left, and on the overhead I can turn the landing lights on but not off. I usually use the mouse wheel to compensate for this problem on the MCP but the overhead panel is where this problem is the most annoying. Any help would be greatly appreaciated.

Dear pilots, I have the VHHX default scenery which all looks good in FSX. But if I remember the SID and STARS, are not present. I know you have to install these separately. Are there any resources out there which can help with this? I have tried googleing but the FS9 procedures keep coming up?

This seems to be a matter that has been discussed but i havent come across a solution. I lust landed in KMDW winds are 04013G17KT so i increased my Vref to 134 ( 1/2 of 13 + 4) Auto Brake level 3. Ok.... App was manual. At 50feet i reduced trottles to idle to allow a touchdown at vref. As soon as the main gear touched i decided instead of pulling the trottles back to reverse ill use F2. ( ive been having this problem if i use the trottles, thats why i decided to try F2.) The Auto brake engaged as normal, however by time the reversers were deployed i was at 68kts. I had 6 seconds between touchdown and reverse selected to "reverse green". Could someone plz tell me whats w…

After a short flight from UKBB to UKLL, a landing on a very short runway (1600m.) and the shut down procedure I decided to take some shots of the virtual cockpit of the NGX in the evening sun. Enjoy... Simply gorgeous and almost real! Now I can imagine how the 777's and 747's flight deck will look like...

I use PMDG737NGX to do touch and go, but the Vref and the runway in ND disappear when the plane touch the ground.who can tell me why,thanks a lot!

i just bought me some new hardware and then installed the pmdg 737-6/700 and 8/900 i have activated it but every time i start fsx again and choose the 700 mode,l it want me to activate again,that do not happened on the 800 model whats wrong.both of them are updated to version 1,3 the newest one.

Apologies for the typo in the thread title... On a flight out of KSFO to KORD, The departure out of San Francisco went off without a hitch. While monitoring the flight profile and JUST after making the cabin announcement in FS2Crew about reaching cruise altitude, the master caution light came on! Hi guys, Now I am feeling pretty comfortable in the 737 i am doing more flights all over the place. My most recent been from KSEA to PANC. But, as my title explains, I was cruising along with VNAV and LNAV and I was blown out of the sky! Well almost. I made an emergency landing at CYPZ I think it was due to the wind which was 42kts at cruise level. The problem was, the NGX could not fly in a straight line, it wiggled all over the place along the line but not level. Until one turn it just kept banking, past bank angle warning and I stalled. Wiggling along the line was similar to when you increase the speed to 16x or something and it cant stay on the line. It is probabl…

I've been starting to the NGX more and more recently and have come into, what might be, a bit of an issue. I never play with the doors while on the ground at the gate or even use GSX or AES which fiddles with them too but when I taxi out for departure for example, I get the master caution light with 'DOORS' illuminated on the F/O side. I check the overhead and to my disbelief the 'LEFT FWD OVERWING' and the 'RIGHT FWD OVERWING' lights are too illuminated yet on the external view neither doors are open. I continued to taxi and just as I was lining up on the runway the caution went out and never had the issue for the rest of the flight. Thanks,

NGX Pilots, Received an older computer from a friend and these are the specs. ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 -Intel® Core™ i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67 GHz 8 gigs of RAM and 500 gig disk space I know very little about computers so if someone could comment on how this system would handle the NGX with some nice scenery that would be great!! I just got 737 800/900 a few days ago and am working my way through the tutorial #1. So far I love it but am having a problem with my keyboard commands. At some point through the setup for the flight all commands from the keyboard stop working. Pause, zoom, shift Z, etc; nothing works from the keyboard once the problem arises. I have found by experimentation that if I save the flight and exit FSX, then reload the flight the keyboard commands are all back for a while but then as time goes on they go out again. Doesn't matter if I am still on the ground or in the air; I have had happen both ways. I had to use full version of FSUIPC to get my CH TQ throttles to work, I…

Afternoon all, my 737 throttles will not go lower than 50.8 NI (T591) when speed is reduced - I use Saitek X52 pro & the lever is set to the minimum (flight idle). Hello all, I've recently been having an unusual issue, when I load some aircraft (it appears to be at random) the wrong configuration seems to be loading for them, even ones that have the verified options configuration. When I try to select load original it doesn't seem to fix the issue. I can load a specific config temporarily but it will still show the incorrect registration currently associated with the plane. Is this a known bug? I tried to do a search and couldn't seem to find any other instances of this happening. I've attached a screenshot of one example. Thanks for your help! Jaison Diaz

Since my recent reinstall the other day I have noticed some frankly painful climb rates. I have no idea why this has started to happen. I am not doing anything different to what I have always done. It takes forever to get to cruise height with a climb rate of between 300-700 feet per minute when you get above about 12000. Does anyone have any idea why this has started to happen because I can't work it out. My active sky settings have not changed and well, neither has anything else. It is most frustrating. Any guidance on this would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I haven't had to reload a flight in a long time. Perhaps the last was before SP1c, but I do not remember a problem with FMC after the reloads before. I do know that it is important to put on "slew" mode before releasing "pause" to allow NGX to initialize without losing altitude and direction. After it completes, releasing the "slew" always put me back into the flight with correct IRS position and FMC routing. Today I had to reload a saved enroute situation and used the same technique to initialize the flight but FMC data was completely corrupted. When I attempted to go to the "perf" page I got a "fatal error". Reloaded FSX and tried again. This time I also relo…

Hi all This bird is fast becoming my default jet-liner - without question, the best add on to our hobby in the 20 plus years I've been part of it. Takes my breath away (no singing at the back please!) every time I fly it. I've been playing around with the default panel states and start up panel states. I've managed to create one called "on GPU", which loads the aircraft on chocks with GPU and ground AC connected and active, but the batteries and GPU switches off (you have to manually mod the .sav file for those), front passenger door and both cargo doors open... what doesn't appear to work, is getting it to load with the airstair deployed. any ideas? - yes the air…

I have been flying the NGX for some time now, and would call myself competent at inputting a route, managing systems etc. I have a RW checklist, etc etc. However, I noted on the attached video (which is very nice) that on the route, some of the waypoint diamonds are surrounded by a green or white circle line. I've never seen this in the NGX. Any thoughts, anyone? Is this due to some special waypoint the RW pilots in the video are using and I've just never needed the NGX to display this, or is this something the NGX did not need to simulate? Hi guys Just a quick query , when I create radius arcs around a runway for approach using the fix option ,I notice a drop in my FPS. I think this is strange because I don't see why radius circles should affect FPS.The drop gets pretty severe when I put around 3. Does any one else notice this ,or is it just me?
