Hi Everyone I just Built a new PC My Specs as follows = Asrock Z77 Extreme 4 , Gigabyte GTX 670 OC, I7 3770K, 8 GB DDR3 1600 Gskill Ripjaw Ram,1000TB 7200rmb 64 HDD. My Problem is in the NGX every 10 seconds the the screen will freeze for about 3-4 Seconds. I have re installed the NGX each time i re installed each service pack id load up the plane in FSX and then re-start the PC before installing the next service pack. I have installed Word Not Allowed,s Tweaks and Ryans Nvidia Tweaks. Ive been Blowen away with the differance those Tweaks have Made. FSX is running Great but I still have that issue with the NGX and only the NGX. If anyone has any Ideas it would Be great…

Hi. Like you can see on the topic title I got troubles to activate my 737 8900 base package and I'm pretty sure, if I had installed it yet, the 6700 expansion too. I have installed the planea nearly 3 or 4 times earlier without any problems, but now I recieve that message. Is there a maximum of activations before the key is blocked? I changed at the meantime the OS from XP to Win7, but I had it installed it on Win7 once without any troubles. Is there a hint with services that could be turned off, but have to run for registration (Got the PC installed by a IT professional this time, so he may stoped some of the services). I have two questions and I thought instead of starting two different threads I'd drop them both in one. First, usually when I set the parking break in the NGX in kicks it back off. Not a huge deal, just wondering if there is a fix for it. Second, most of the time when flying with real weather the aircraft can't maintain lateral path and eventually starts into a steep bank unless I take over. It's annoying. The airspeed also jumps around quite a bit causing the overspeed warning to sound every few minutes. Also annoying. Anyone experience this? I don't have any weather programs like REX installed. Just the ingame real weather option. Cheers.

While trying the Skyline Three departure from KOAK (http://155.178.201.160/d-tpp/1207/00294SKYLINE.PDF), I am having trouble complying with the 2000 ft restriction up to 4NM from the OAK VORTAC, because the NGX easily reaches this altitude far before 4NM. After watching some real departures on Youtube, I have yet to notice any plane level off during the departure. I was wondering if anyone knows the proper way to fly this departure. Hi guys, Seen a few posts about this. When mouse pointer is visible my FPS drops from 25-30 to about 18. What I tend to do is try not to move my mouse at all during flight but this is quite often not possible. The time you require the best FPS (landing/takeoff) is the time you're pressing buttons! Is there any known fix for this? It's not game breaking but would be fantastic to have it resolved. Thanks

Hi Pilots, i have Service based failure on the active failures are APU bleed fail and ENG bleed fail. The Engine will not start in this case. The PSI ist 0 % . What can i do so the engine is starting ? best regards, and sorry for the bad engish. :)

I apologise if this has been addressed earlier. I did do a search on this forum for this topic, but Avsim's search engine for some reason doesn't recognize the term "cargo" as being a proper search term ( ). Anyway, I know the 737-700 has been converted by Boeing to a convertible version that allows it to be a cargo or passenger version. It adds the cargo door plus uses a beefed up landing gear and the wings from the BBJ version. I'm wondering if there is any chance that PMDG could consider an expansion pack for the 700C? Of course, the only thing that would likely have to be done is the interior (only ??) and the cargo door as I'm not sure the different wing is rea…

Hi Guys, I have NGX 737 with latest SP1c. If I turn the battery on I get minimal sound, but if I step through the views and come back to the cockpit I get quite a loud sound as if something has turned on or an external appliance has been connected. Its like everything has fired up but should not have.Could someone please advise. Regards Brett Nicholls

I made a simple repait for the NGX -700, but I'm not really satisfied with how it came out, likely because of my absolute lack of experience with repaints and photoshop(I normally use GIMP). http://i914.photobucket.com/albums/ac343/dlrk/repaint1.png http://i914.photobucket.com/albums/ac343/dlrk/repaint2.png I'm looking for some advice on how I can make the tail look more realistic, and less 'flat'. HI all, I try to put my own livery on the -800 with using the paintkit. My problem is, that the tail does not align with the upper part of the fuse which is not aligned with sides. The "gap" between these parts in the paintkit drives my nuts! Is there any trick, to know how you have to move parts of the paint without trying it thousands of times? I attached a picture of how it should look if done correctly (PMDG 737-800 in FS9). Hopefully I expressed my problem in a way you know what I mean ;) Any help is highly appreciated! Hi i just wondered if anyone can help. When i change views with the NGX the ngx bounces every time. This does not happen with any other aircraft just the ngx. Does anyone else have the same problem. Regards Chris

Hey guys, I'm still really struggling to plan a flight. I've run both tutorials but they don't help massively as they walk you through inputting, but not how to acquire the flight plan and how to input it. For example if I follow the route on this site: http://www.flightsimaviation.com/_flight_planner.html - I usually get parts of the route that don't connect. Do I need to be able to accurately read charts to plan a route? How do I find airways between airports? I am so confused but following FSX ATC guidance and not even bothering to use the FMC is very unrealistic! Hope you can help

HI Fellow Simmers I was wondering if anyone had encountered the problem of the fms eta times being out of sync with everything...sometimes its only out by 10 or 12 hrs more times it just keeps flicking times at random but always reads the correct time for last w/point passed..the clockin the plane always reads the correct time and the sim is set to real time, I also run Aiviasoft efb ( a wonderfull bit of kit and in my humble opinion a must have) and its correct with its eta's.....I'm running fsx with Xpack and think I read somewhere that it can be a bit quirky..but not too sure about this..any ideas much appriciated Many Thanks Fred TROUBLE FREE FLIGHT TO ALL

Hi, I want to fly some flights in the US and use real life Flight Plans. I have seen a few links while browsing this forum on my phone and like an idiot i didn't bookmark them. I have also had a good old search but i am coming up with nothing. Can anyone point me in the right direction of a site that provides this? I have tried Flight Aware but i cant see any flight plans there or i don't know how to find them on that site if they do them? Cheers!

I use to able to update nav data from a web site called autoscene for VHHX. This web site is now inactive. Does anyone know where to find this update.

I used the installer as instructed.....d/l the southwest paint for the 700WL....used the manager, selected the 700NGX WL, installed the .ptp livery file and it shows up on the right side of the manager along with the default house livery. Go into FSX and select the 700NGX WL and all that shows up is the house paint. What is wrong here????? Did the same for the 800 and 900 WL......nothing works!!!!!! And yes, I did install the SP1C packs! Thanks! Geoff

I just "upgraded" from a 3.5mm headset/mic to a USB Logitech H390. This is my first USB headset/mic. When I use it in conjunction with the PMDG 737NGX the engine and external sounds come through the headset while the internal cockpit sounds still come through my desktop speakers. When I go into the FMC and select the headset as my speaker I lose all internal sounds... they won't come through the headset or desktop speakers. If I switch it back to desktop, it still won't play until I reset the flight. Hello there. I have recently downloaded, and installed the PMDG 737NGX for FSX. The standard PMDG livery airplanes works fine. Both the visual model, and (visual) virtual cockpit. The sounds are also working. Well, I then tried to install some of the liveries offered from PMDG site and then a lot of things obviously went wrong. I installed the SAS livery for 737-800 with the help from the livery manager and apparently everything was working fine.
