Hi, I'm completing a Fligth Plan with a sheet exel, but did not find in the manual PMDG 737Ngx the ( DOW ) weight in kg, which is applied in the CDU 737Ngx The page PAYLOAD and how and estimated weight to Kg, is applied to passenger? Tanks for the Repley, Have a good Day, Roberto.

Anybody got these. Seem to be extremely high quality, if a little pricey. They have a full line of 737-like radios and such.CPFlightGoFlight has indicated that they will NOT be releasing drivers for the NGX. I am looking for alternatives.* Orest

Nothing better than copying reality in this thing. Maybe I'll do a video of them face to face, but I put a bunch of work into this one cropping and positioning the sound file so it is correct. Hope yall like it

Hi all! I'm in the process of customizing my GSX and am looking at a rough but accurate estimate of realistic boarding and deboarding times for the NGXs. Obviously as the seating capability changes I'll then work it down to a second per passenger sort of format so that I can use it as a blueprint for all planes of the series. Any ideas? Anywhere anyone can think I can have a look besides my own experience in airports? Cheers everyone!

I have the NGX 738/9 and like most people appreciate the nearest thing most of us will get to flying a real airliner.... But I don't yet have the smaller siblings, the 736/7. My understanding is that they were released as separate packages as they are really are like a different aircraft. Can anyone confirm or (better) describe the differences between these two packages ( maybe sound, performance, nything else that sticks out)? Thanks, Bruce.

  7. I activated my PMDG 737NGX 800/900 and got the following message: "The activation of the fulfillment is denied by the activation policy because max extra activations exceed. [incident# 3864-605093]" Please help if you encountered the same problem and found a solution. Many thanks.

  9. Dear PMDG, fellow simmers, I was wandering if a future SP could include the option to modify the look/functionality of the NAVBOX/radio equipment on the center pedestal in the newer format (as indicated in the picture attached >737NG Pedestal). Newest models delivered by Boeing often come with these and I think they are a big improvement on the conventional dials. Why? As an ATPL-student pilot I'm not only using this great addon in my spare time to train ops/procedures/systems while flying on IVAO, I also like the "RAW-data" flying part were you turn the automatics/FD off and fly the approach as indicated on the chart yourself. I just like challenging myself…

I always used the tail rudder for turns at taxiing, is that wrong in any way? I guess if the nose wheel steering is there is for a reason but I don't have idea when to use one or another. Thanks in advance.

  12. Started by Michael Moe,

Well i love my NGX and over the years my wallet has been used alot so the add-ons has 50+ in the FSX scenery and airplane folders. But it seems it has a price on my system(read OOM). If you dont install airplanes or regions of scenery i am getting lesser and lesser OOM. So i would state that even if you do not use your add-on it takes up some of the FSX memory on load. Just a thought on the ever compromises to make in FSX Favorits REX E (sometimes 4096HD but NOT around Heathrow for instance :-) ) AS2012 UTX GEX FS2CREW Thanks Michael Moe

Hi guys, Wondering if there will be a fix to this one day. Basically the animations [in an effort to save performance I presume] look very slow. This is more obvious looking at the engines when they are spooled up. The fans don't look like they spin at speed, and you can physically see the graphical refresh cycle every second or so, doesn't look pretty. Also flaps, spoilers etc are very slow and look like they deploy at 4-5fps :P. Any future update planned to address this? Alex

What really makes me nuts is that when the Fatal error message from microsoft apprears when you sometimes load the simulator X or using the taskbar, mentioning that as soon as Mircosoft has a solution for that error it will let you know. So far for months now I get theis message, however no solution from Microsoft. I guess that there are millions out there who have a similar issue and do net get a quick fix from them. Since I am no computer expert, would love to excess to a program to download and sove this anoying issue. Perhpa we need to collectively send a note on thos subjet to the Microsoft people.

While flying the NGX during any aspect of flight FSX pauses for a few seconds acting like a file load and then resumes. This happens every three or four minutes and hard drive activity is indicated. After the pause, NGX resumes normal flight and ND tracks jump forward to "catch up". All of my other aircraft fly OK. Any suggestions?

First of all let me tell you that I have already read almost if not all posts in this forum concerning throttle issues and have read both tutorials that came with the package, as well as doing 2 clean reinstalls of the software. This is the issue: After preparing the aircraft for flight (start up from cold, FMC configuration, loading fuel calculated by TOPCAT, & setting correct trim), I am on the runway ready to go. initial altitude setting set on MCP which matches the waypoint on the SID in the FMC with corresponding speed restriction. Flaps correctly set, Parking break released, Throttle to 40%, selection of TOGA done. Aircraft rolls down the runway and ta…

Thinking about buying NGX but I fly a virtual airline on long routes and use Radar Contact 4 to auto-pause the sim at a desired distance from the destination. Will this still work with 737NGX? Or does the NGX Pause at Top of Descent replace this? I also use RC4 co-pilot to handle ATC comm and fly the plane during the long flight so I can do other things. I had legacy FS9NG for a while but understood that RC4 co-pilot would not work with it. Still true with NGX? Even without using the FMC? thanks!

Hey guys, Yesterday I received a Norwegian airlines 737-800 DVD that I purchased ( it's very good! ) and I noticed that the pilots switch from their instruments to PAPI on Finals but I can't quite catch what distance from the threshold they do this. I was wondering if it is a set distance for all airports or whether or not it varies on airport/weather etc? Kind Regards, Dan

Hi, my copy of the NGX has been working fine except for one issue. When I installed the United Airlines livery for the 737-900 WL the panel showed up with irregular gauges as shown in the attached screenshot. My copy is fully updated to service pack 1c. I am running Windows 7 x64 with an ATI Radeon HD 5670. I am sorry if this topic has come up before, I've done a search of the forums and could not find someone with the same problems as me. David

Hello, When using the outside views I cannot see the flaps or speedbrakes move when they are being deployed or retracted. I'm running a low end system (Dell XPS410, 1.86 dual core, 2gig RAM, NVIDIA GT240/1gig), so I have my sliders moved to the middle setting, especially when flying into KATL and KMEM where I have AFCADS installed. Even when maxing out the sliders and flying into KBNA, where I don't have AFCADS installed, I cannot see the flaps, speedbreaks or Wing Flex moving. I'm guessing I just don't have enough RAM and Processor size to display these effects ? Also, I added the highmemfix=1 entry to the .cfg and I still see the airplane skeleton most of …

Well, After almost 5500 hours in the 737NG, I'm moving on... It was a tough decision, made easier with a few things that are going on with my airline... Short of my time on the Mad Dog, and the F-111 in the Air Force, I've never been more fond of an aircraft... Well, there were a few years as an FO on the MD-11, but I digress... I'll be moving on to the 757/767, which will net me (I hope) a better long term quality of live based on a few things going on with my airline, and where I am based. So with that, I share a very recent shot when I had the good fortune to bum a ride on FlagShip Detroit (DC-3). Thats the Freedom Tower up ahead. Second pic is of my new office…

  24. Hi I have parched PMGD 737 NGX 800/900. I understand that there are some upgrades for this product, but I can't figure out what exactly to download and upgrade and in what order. There is : 737 -600/700 NGX Expansion Package SP1c Update for the 737 -600/700 NGX Expansion Package SP1c (FSX) Should I install this upgrade for my PMGD 737 ngx 800/900 that I parched ? Is it free to those who already parched PMGD 737 NGX 800/900 ? How can I know what version is the upgrade? I have been told that there is version 1.2 and there is an upgrade for version 1.3. Twice this weekend, I flew into KSFO from the north on the Goldn6 arrival into the ILS runway 28L. The course track for the ILS is 281 degrees per the chart which I dialed into the two course widows. At some point during the arrival/approach, the course window changed to 284 degrees. I found that I could not change the course back to 281, it was somehow locked from any changes. Additional interest is that the track white line indicator on the PFD showed a course of 284 while tracking the localizer. What is going on? Why the change to 284 degrees and why is the course window locked? Thanks,
