PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

Hi everyone. I'm having a strange bug and I hope someone can help me. When I use NGX, parking break does not work at all. I mean the "period" on the keyboard or "CTRL+." as well. Even the control on the joy: I use a Saitek Pro Flight Yoke Control, with pedal rudders as well. Im wondering what can I do? And what did it happen? Have u guys any ideas? It will be appreciate. After several PC crash and passing in Window 7 I try to set my PMDG 737 NGX base package but it wont activate saying to many activation have been done. Hi Guys. Some help would be appreciated. I am having problems with my engine controls. I have a Saitek Yoke and throttle set-up and have never had any problems. After having hooked up another throttle system, my Saitek is doing some strange stuff. In the NGX, I have my throttle set to 1) Left throttle, 2) Right throttle and 3) Flap axis. My left throttle is almost non-existent, but the right moves ok. My flaps are doing strange stuff as well. I have checked my controls in FSX, I have rechecked the calibration in windows 100 times. I checked the throttle and slider pots and squirted them all with silicon spray. I removed the fsx.cfg and let it build…

Hello, I have a vary weird situation with my FSX. This morning i opened up FS and loaded the NGX, did the preflight, and started taxi, only to find that when i turn my Saitek Yoke as if i was turning the ailerons, it now controls the Steering Tiller as well as the ailerons. repeat, the Tiller, the rudder pedals do not move At all. Which it didn't do before. The only change i had made since i last opened FS is switching from squakbox to FSinn. I have an UNREGISTERED version of FSUIPC. Does FSinn control the Tiller. If so where do i change it to a different Axis? Thanks,

I had to reinstall FSX and PMDG NGX due a computer issue. While going through in introduction, I noticed that the old recommendation to for this settng: TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=40996, was no longer included in the SP1c Introduction manual. For the PMDG folks, is it still recommendation to edit this FSX setting to this value: TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=4096 Thanks, Rich Boll

Gentlemen During the Tutorial #1 learning cycle for me, I, of course, utilized the Flight/Save function extensively so that I could repeat certain segments over and over without restarting the whole flight from scratch. Doing this I noticed that each time I would have to set the Land Alt back to "0", because it would default back to the "50" setting it has at the start of the Tutorial. I thought at first this was a "newbie oversight" error, but after deliberately setting it to "0" and immediately Flight/Saving, I ended the flight and exited FSX to desktop. Hey Flight simmers. Seeing as I've almost solved my OOM issue with the PMDG 737NGX this thought came to mind. I bought FsPassengersX a while ago and I tried to use it with the PMDG. After about a couple seconds: Fatal error. I followed the guide shown at http://www.fspassengers.com/forum/read.php?f=2&i=30169&t=30169 but I couldn't get ahold of Brian York so the guide was only partly helpful. I need ways on how to get FsPassengersX working with the PMDG and preferably with the Mini Display active. Thanks, and have fun simming!

Does anyone know if PMDG is creating (any of these models) -100/-200/-300/-400/-500 fo the 737 series?

I had to rebuild my CFG file and lost my liveries as a result. I have entered the livery manager and completed the install process for a couple of United paints. That process seem to work fine. However, when I enter FSX, the livery's are not there. What could I be doing wrong?

Hello! Could somebody tell me where I can request a repaint for NGX? I have already tried it in 'PMDG 737NGX Livery Availability' thread some months ago but nobody have responsed. Are there other places to request one? Can somebody make for me a repaint? Unfortunately, I am not able to repaint a livery and just for one aircraft I cannot motivate myself and would also not able to reach the quality of an experienced repainter; perhaps I will learn it in future if I get more time and motivation for that but I need it a bit 'urgend' for now. Hi guys I'm having issues recently with my throttle always overriding the AT on the NGX. I've tried all the different Override settings in the PMDG Options menu in the FMC but to no avail. I've tried my throttle through the defaualt FS Controls menu and also FSUIPC and get the same results with both. I've also tried calibrating the throttles but that didn't solve it. Any ideas? I have a TM Warthog joystic and throttle. Cheers

Why is it I can not hear my reverse thrusters when I have them on / At one time I could hear them when they were engaged. I do not know what I might have done to cause them to go silent.. Any help on this would be great .Thanks. Roger

Hi, Please tell me what I have exactly to do to view the correct wide screen panel. I only see a 4:3 panel which is only left and right side extended. So the round displays look like an egg. I fixed the fsx.cfg and have an wide screen monitor with 1920:1080 pixels and have this adjusted in fsx. Thank you very much and kind regards Peter Timm

My aircraft has been functioning quite weirdly. On the FMC, the distance to the next waypoint appears to be static. The number has been stuck at 198.3nm for the past 10 minutes. I'm traveling at mach .76. Also, when I look on the display that shows all of the waypoint, the one directly above. I just changed the distance that the display shows, and it appears to have solved the problem, but could somebody help me figure out how to make sure this doesn't happen, so that way it never freezes up, or if anyone has solved it before, please let me know. -jeremy chesney

Hello there, I've been flying the NGX for over a year, learning more and more on how to fly the plane it is great! Over time I have started to note some inconsistencies in the way some parts of the plane are simulated. I have picked a very easy fix for you guys at PMDG for SP2 (that is if you want to put it in at all). Here is the problem: In the real NG, there is speed-brake actuator which functions to extend the speed-brakes; after arming the system and landing, the actuators must be retracted and reset. I'm glad that the arming and extending portions have been modeled. The retracting of the speed-brakes when pushing the throttles up also does retract the spoi…

I've overused the save panel state feature and would like to clear some of the saves out so the FMC is not so cluttered. Unfortunately, the only information in the NGX Introduction manual is about saving and loading panel states. I even searched the folders hoping to manually remove the files, but no joy there either.

Consequently I document my flights and I use the attached forms. One for long range, the other for short range flights. Hello, I just finished my first repaint on this aircraft for my virtual airline. The livery turned out okay, but i have a very strange problem that i cannot find the solution of. So i hope there is someone here that can help me. As you can see the windows are not good, the lower part are the windows as shown in Photoshop and the upper part are from the model i think, the clear ones. Hi guys, don't want to submit a ticket to Ryan with this one as it's clearly something I'm doing wrong. My NGX moves very slowly forward at the gate pre-departure. I'm loading a 'warm and running' NGX to any airport gate. Imperceptible but after 10-15 mins checking charts or prepping the FMC, I'm a good 15 feet forward and about to hit the terminal wall. Yes- my engines are running but at idle and the parking brake is applied. My first guess is my engines- should not be running at this stage?

Hi folks, going to ALTN DEST page for the fuel planning for the alternate I see that 5 of my previously entered alternates come always up again. Why is that? Where can I delete them so that the page is blank after eg. cold&dark? (I know that they can be deleted with the DEL key, but that is not the point...) Thanx.

A couple months ago I posted about a freeze issue that mostly happened on flights more than 5 hours. In the past I was able to do 14 hour flights without this problem. But after it started ocurring I was not able to do flights over 5 hours without a freeze up which would totally lock up the computer. The only way to use the computer again was a hard restart. I tried many things and thought I had the problem licked but it kept coming back. Yes I do have the UIautomationcore.dll fix so I knew that was not the problem. Anyway after going 6 weeks without a freeze I am confident I have finally tracked down the problem. The issue for me was the windows page file. I fell…
